Went into town with daughter and grandchildren and thought we would stop and have some lunch. This cafe used be to lovely with beautiful teapots, cups etc. well it must have changed hands as it’s more like a transport cafe. Anyway we went in and was very surprised at the quality and quantity of the food. All our plates were empty, the staff were lovely and friendly as well. Don’t be put off by the look of the place and decor. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.

After walking along the seafront decided to find a place for lunch when we came across The Waterloo Bistro. Enjoyed scampi and chips for myself and my friend only wanted a snack so she chose a BLT wrap, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My scampi and chips were delicious and a decent portion. Very friendly staff and the Bistro was very clean. Highly recommended.

Waterloo Bistro is located in the previous Finest Blend premises. There is inside and outside seating. The interior has been redecorated in a modern style. And the food, oh my, it is absolutely fabulous! From the extensive menu, I chose the five-bean chilli with rice, and my daughter had falafel panini with salad and lots of extras. Both were extremely tasty and filling. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Toilet is pristine. We will be back next week! .

Superb restaurant. A hidden gem of Weston! Really worth a visit. No issues regarding visiting with a wheelchair and an assistance dog. Super friendly staff (special thank you to Joel for his food recommendations). It was great to meet the chef and chat about his family and pets. Loved trying new dishes I’d never heard of before. Really good prices. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Food was really delicious, I had a byriani which came with a vegetable curry, well cooked, flavorful and was chocked full of meat. The service was very friendly and attentive, I was dining alone and the front of house made me feel very welcome. Bring your own alcohol if you want a drink, they were happy to provide the glassware and it wasn't an issue. I would recommend you book if you want a table.

We popped by tonight 19/12/24 to see what the chances were to get a table. We were greeted by some lovely staff and then the manager who said that he would have a table free around 8pm. We came back , and we were taken to the lovely booth table at the back of the restaurant , indeed the best table in the house I feel! A beautifully appointed restaurant , the decor a gorgeous mix of forest green and gold , low level lighting , velvet booths and lots of faux foliage . Smart servers , stylish menus , great choices of traditional meals along with some signature dishes all very reasonably priced. A comprehensive drinks menu with an extremely drinkable Prosecco. We ordered poapdums chutneys to start , very fresh warm popadums and the chutneys were delightful. Main courses were a Lamb Sagwala ( spinach in a tasty thick sauce , with finely chopped onion , coriander peas and spices ) the Lamb was tender and plentiful. Not swimming in grease/ ghee or overly saucy . A well balanced dish full of flavour with no heat , suitable for a person who prefers a mild / no heat curry A dish of lamb Bombay Flame , again tender lamb extremely well spiced and medium hot, it was very tasty with a lot of sauce. We had the special rice , which was very nice , flavourful dish and in a great portion for 2 of us sharing. The garlic naan was delicious , hot , pillowy , buttery delight with finely chopped fresh garlic . The service was impeccable , the food delicious , the cost was very reasonable. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing a treat.
