First visit we was on our way to another cafe but popped in here , friendly staff and welcoming, this was a very good breakfast we sat outside looking at the scenery boats etc . I had the smaller breakfast bacon ,egg, sausage ,hash browns mushrooms ,and beans cuppa tea cost £5.00 hubby had the bigger breakfast , it was cooked well tasted good , good quality bacon and sausage. Really enjoyed it . Good value . The cafe was very clean . And also the loos . Would recommend. And will be returning .

12 Furtherwick RoadThey very kindly put on an afternoon tea for my family at very short notice I couldn't fault the staff,service or food. Nothing was too much trouble,they looked after us all and made it extra special for my granddaughters who loved it. Thank you

25-27 High StreetSpend my Christmas Day and dinner at the half crown this year. I’ve been a regular customer for 20 years and this was the first time. I can honestly say the food was excellent, the value for money and service was exceptional. Tess and her team worked tirelessly for the whole day. It was a lovely day and I would recommend anyone to try Christmas or any other day at The Half Crown.
