Wellwisher Cafe in Forest of Dean

This is such a lovely little cafe, one you might miss if you weren't aware it was there. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and know the regulars well. The food is competitively priced and the ingredients are all fresh and great quality. we choose to take our food away however there is a lovely little area for eating and appeared very family friendly

The food is excellent . Very friendly staff. No request too big for these ladies. I would recommend this place for anybody regardless food allergies.

Got a takeaway for breakfast. Good size bacon cob and well cooked and high quality bacon. Easy to find and staff were all really friendly. Nice that they wrap it up in foil so that it stays warm until you get home. Good option for breakfast if you’re in the area.

Great freshly cooked food. Excellent value for money. Friendly helpful staff .No request is too much. There is a lovely family atmosphere which makes the cafe a joy to visit. I look forward to returning. soon.

A very well oiled machine that runs smoothly. The people are very friendly and cannot do enough to make your visit pleasant. The food is of a high standard , never have to wait too long even when busy which is most days. Before lock down we went every week.

Although this is only open until 2PM, Monday to Friday (I think). We have been in most weekdays for anything from Breakfast to toasted Bacon sandwiches (including.Tea or coffee) . Good Food, Freshly cooked, Great service by Friendly staff. Prices are not bad either.

Theresa & her team laid on a splendid buffet of sandwiches, chips and 2 large birthday cakes for my 70th birthday celebration for the Mitcheldean Walking for Health Group. We were provided with our own tables and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The cakes were a great hit. Brilliant value for money. Many thanks Theresa.

This cafe is by the Brewery Tap venue, next to the Brewery in Mitcheldean. Friendly and varied menu, well cooked, good value for a breakfast stop. The photos on the other reviews show this cafe, but it's not in Drybrook, it's in nearby Mitcheldean?

Excellent social stop for Walking for Health Group after walks. Friendly service. Jovial atmosphere. I usually just have coffee but my occasional lunches have been very good & filling. NB. The cafe is in Mitcheldean, not Drybrook

A great local place for a good and cheap breakfast. Plus they provide a great range of other products. A warm welcome is always given.

Have visited many times as very close to work, from breakfast baps to cooked lunches, always excellent quality.

Can't put into enough words about how good this cafe is. Friendly and welcoming staff, great value food that is served promptly. Would highly recommend a breakfast visit as their fry up is one of the best around!

Prueba para nosotros este café una vez a la semana para un brunch. Comida llega rápidamente recién cocinados y de gran calidad. Cantidad y calidad de la comida es excelente para el precio. El personal es muy amable y hay un gran ambiente. Comer en el restaurante o para llevar, la calidad es la misma. Con una variedad de comida para todos los gustos, pero recomiendo encarecidamente las patatas rellenas con ensalada.

Seen as I visit the wellwisher a few times a year I thought its only fair that I leave a review. Food is always nice and a decent size, the staff are polite and switched on and the venue is clean and cosy.

Total gem staffed by the nicest people ever. You can eat in and have lovely comfort food or a salad or takeaway plus sandwiches hot and cold. Yummy daily specials and matter what the weather or how busy they are you will have a truly genuine welcome. From suits to construction this lovely yummy gem is a hug for the soul and a great breakfast or lunch. Love them love the food :)
