Deep fried GF veggies in their own batter - wonderful. Good chatting to someone that understands what people want.

Always unique and so delicious. Slices of various vegetables, peppers, broccoli, beetroot carrot onion aubergine, and more dipped in spicy batter and deep fried to order , served with a selection of dips my favourite is mango Chutney - and also vegetarian and gluten free. So simple and yet so special. Lucky lewes for having WhamBam.

Hot, spicy, veg in season you're never quite sure what vegetables will be dipped in the delicious batter. An ideal lunch when you're mooching around a market or festival.

We have visited this takeaway dozens of times over the years, best way to get kids to eat vegetables! Beautiful fresh cooked food, amazing mango chutney, lime pickles etc, choose the level of heat you want. Very nice people, excellent food

Have been coming to this wonderful foodie place for years, especially when the Farmers market is on - 1st Saturday of every month. The variety of vegetables is terrific and the tempura batter is perfect. There are lots of different things to have with them - my favourite is the mango chutney. Once you've tried them, you'll become addicted I'm sure!

Oh my! What a superb dinner here in Lewes. We're vegetarian and had a superb range of choice. We had a millet based bread we've never tried before, it was excellent and filling. Thank you for a new experience.

Son lives in Lewes and really likes this restaurant, having been there a number of times. He invited us to join him (we live in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne) for dinner. We can see why he thinks it's good! Welcome was lovely and friendly, as was the service, although maybe one member of staff was early days and not finding it easy - as I used to say, I only want 3 things 'attitude, attitude, attitude - I can teach the rest!! his attitude was good and he did well. Lots of lovely choices on the menu. The food was first class quality and certainly enough in quantity. My wife couldn't eat all of her lovely Chicken Tikka and they were happy to box what was left (enjoyed chopped up in a sandwich lunchtime today!!) Excellent food and a lovely evening. thank you

Ordered curry for Xmas dinner this year - a first but needed simplicity as 2 members of my family had just had operations. Specifically said it was for Christmas dinner. I have just popped in the oven to heat though and disaster - a chicken korma as opposed to a chicken tikka masala. I'm not impressed, especially when they delivered they hadn't included the onion bhajis and veg samosa. Therefore, I will not use them again. Really cheesed off to say the least

We ate here for my father in laws 80th birthday yesterday, a table of 9. We were treated very well and looked after, the food was delicious and we left very happy. Big shout out to staff for helping my father in law in and out of the restaurant (he has Parkinson’s), facilitating a birthday cake and also for being able to cater well for my daughter with coeliac disease. They had many gluten free options and the poppadoms are gluten free! We will visit again soon.
