Joe and Luis were great - lost an ID card and they were so cool and patient in a really busy night. Can't bless the staff enough just good blokes and great bartenders doing their job above and beyond expectations

In all honesty this was a poor roast , very little gravy , potatoes seems like they were deep fried as they were so crispy , but not nice crispy , the chicken had no flavour , really wished I never spent the money , the staff were lovely , but not like my usual roasts , the Yorkshire puddings were so dry ,and should be fluffy inside did not look nice at all , and also my girlfriend ordered a vegan roast however they put a Yorkshire pudding ontop of hers as well which was not vegan even though the chef came out to ask and show us the ingredients of the breadcrumbs he was using before preparing the meal , so this was very strange . So disappointing I would usually say something but the staff were so nice I did not . Also was going to put a compare pic of a good roast I had against this one today but also thought that was harsh so this is my review.

The level of service has dropped a lot and the burgers are very basic and tasteless.

Nice and cozy pub. We ordered 2 beef burgers which were totally tasteless. We are still wondering why a nice pub will serve such low quality burgers. Especially considering they charge £14 per burger! We left the pub with the morbid feeling of a full belly and a tasteless mouth. I wouldn’t recommend a beef burger in this pub.

I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing and the music had me singing my head off. I could barely eat. I loved it.

Beef and Ale pie was 10/10, beers are tasty. Good vibe. Don’t bring the bloke who filled in for the pub quiz on 28th October back, took 2 hours to do 30 questions (other patrons were also super annoyed by how slow it was), but alas is usually really good!

It was a pub. Visited on Sunday night in summer so there was not much of a vibe. And, my drink was served and the staff member bumped it and it spilled but didn't replace the drink.

Flat beer, rude bar staff and no customer service. Pub feels like it is currently being managed by a bunch of teenagers who are unprofessional, moody and egocentric. Has been my local for many years and it was pleasant place before unlike the last few months. Flat beer tolerable on fri/sat when DJs playing. Update: 22nd June. Witnessed customers being verbally abused by staff. I asked the staff member to calm down he then blew cigarette in my face and put his knee against my genitals 3 x times to intimidate me. Unfortunately the security did not take any action to protect the public or me.

I had a negative experience with a rude, arrogant manager, which is unfortunate given that the place itself is atmospheric and nice. I have seen few altercations recently between so called manager and the customers; he provokes the customers by condescending remarks, then refuses to give drinks to completely calm customers. When I asked for a manger he again in an arrogant tone responded "I am the manager!". This is completely unacceptable behaviour. Great example to his junior staff!

This pub has a really nice ambience (as well as outside areas, front and back!). Decent range of booze... 🍺🍻🍷🍾🍸🍹 I've only been a few times, but many of my friends are regulars here. One gets the feeling that the staff really enjoy working here, and it's a very friendly vibe. A couple of nice big comfy leather seats and a pool table to boot! 🎱

I go to pub quiz here every Monday. The mc Taz is amazing and we have had so much fun. Staff re super friendly. Cool place. Pool table

Very good food I'm friendly environment

On Friday 9th February I was in attendance at White Horse Brixton. At around 11ish I was in the outside area and there was a very intoxicated man that I did not know. He obviously had too much to drink and began to vomit and could not control himself, security then opted to place him outside the boundary of White horse (in front of the accountants, just to the side of white horse). This man continued to look extremely ill (mild fitting and in and out of consciousness ) so I phoned an ambulance for him (security at white horse refused to do so after I requested this). The ambulance advised me to wait by him in case he stopped breathing, I requested that one of the 3-4 security staff members do this so I could continue my evening, but they refused , citing "he'll be fine". This man was barely conscious and would have been extremely dangerous to leave by himself. I had to wait 45 minutes by myself for a man that I did not know before resuming my evening. This was entirely avoidable. I was essentially extremely let down by the security at white horse, a pub I frequent on a regular basis, as they had no regard for a man in need of assistance. Why should it fall to a patron to ensure someone doesn't die outside your establishment? The behaviour from security was appalling and I really hope you investigate this and improve your procedures

Ladies toilets were rotten puddles one of the sinks full of sick. Spoke to manager he said he not cleaning it and neither are his staff his cleaners will do in the morning. There were more staff than customers so should have been dealt with. Was not impressed manager didn’t care

I know it's run up to Christmas, but the pub was warm, friendly and welcoming. What more can you ask for. Good food as well.

Excellent late pub away from the centre of Brixton. Friendly staff, a pool table, outdoor area and medicore pub quiz on Mondays. Prices are a bit sharp but no more than anywhere else around it. Good crowd and good vibes.

We've just moved to the area and this is now our local - came in around lunchtime on Saturday. Was quiet but great vibes and friendly staff. Steak ciabatta was a bit cold when it arrived but the chips were divine! We'll be back.

Very good food (veggie roast and vegan burger) and nice staff. Rather quiet when we went in as they'd just opened for lunch on Sunday. I know it gets busy later. Well worth a visit!

Sat outside on a hot evening and had a few (reasonably) priced pints of Moretti...pretty standard pub atmosphere as rugby world cup had just kicked off. However later after the sport had finished, the tables were pushed back and low and behold ...a dancefloor 😂 cracking dance and disco tunes ...couldn't resist 🥳😁

Terrible terrible service and treatment from bar tender while we tried to place an order. She was rude and pushed the customer to order while we were looking at the menu. When we picked a drink in a hurry with the pressure from her , she ruldly said that was another available. So we picked the next alternative one but that was again not available. She was absolutely doesn't care about the customer and not sorry to her customer at all. She should not be serving as a bar tender.

Food amazing! got the prawn chili spaghetti dish, tasted home made. so very good and the right size of a portion. Had popped in for food, expected very little but so impresed. service good as well, wine not great, but this is a local pub focused on beers and having a good time so top marks for excellent food! i'll be back! .

Its has a very friendly manager , and staff smiled at me, which has i am just moving to this area , made me feel very welcome . The interior is designed perfectly , the whole place was immaculate . It is an extreamly nice atmosphere. Great for families and, meeting friends. Staff are efficient and service, is excellent . And they care about their , customer's .amazing , I wish the manager and staff , well and also add GOOD LUCK FOR THE FUTURE. 7 STARS******* pity about the beer garden rather spoils it .

Lovely local pub in an area which otherwise would be left without one. Decent selection of beers, some outdoor seating on the roadside and fresh, reasonably priced traditional British style food.

La decoración esta bien nada especial, cervezas salen 5,50 un poco caras para la zona que se encontraba , la música esta bien , solamente esta demasiado alta la música comunicarse dentro era prácticamente imposible, esta bien para ir a tomar algo por el día pero no un lugar al que iría por la noche, tiendo en cuenta que fuy un viernes y había bastante poca gente.

This isn’t open until midnight as suggested many nights. Like any pub they’re desperate to kick you out at 23:00. Wouldn’t have a problem with it if Google didn’t say open until midnight!

Affordable Sunday roast and the pork belly was delicious such a good size. As a fellow northerner I was slightly dissapointed with the Yorkshire pudding, it was flat and a little burnt, but for the area that wasn't crispy/ burnt it was so soft and wasn't dry!

Legendary pub on Brixton Hill. Good range of lagers and wines. Excellent food menu. DJ's at weekends plus late licence. Can get very busy.

Negatives: Saturday night experience may be different from during the week, but the staff drowned out the spirits in all the mixed drinks our group had with copious amounts of mixer every single round. When asked not to, the drinks still tasted incredibly weak like they were going light on the spirits. The Deuchars beer wasn't kept well either. Positives: Nice heated area out front and friendly door staff. The lagers were fine. TL;DR: Not recommended.

Amazing customer service, I haven't seen Martyna but through several emails and a few phone calls I was very pleased to deal with.Team was very welcoming. We had some meals and a few drinks before big party in Electric Brixton. We were very surprised about atmosphere in White Horse, I would recommend this place for a night out or as a pre party 🥳

Could do with some variety on the ales. The pool table has been decent before, however there are a few people who come in, hog the table and claim that it is winner stays on and challenger has to pay. They will not let you play your friends and go back to their system, and obviously the system just means a couple of people hog the tables all night and play for free, what is even more bizarre is the owners back them up, as a result I will not be bother to come here again and recommend you do not bother.

Great place lovely food good atmisphere

I had my birthday here last night with a group of friends and without even me asking them, Whitehorse put balloons on my table which I thought was very sweet. The vibe in there is really nice, and the decorations are so lovely too. Service is great and didn’t have to wait long at all when we ordered drinks from our table. Can’t wait to come here again and try their food as the menu looked really good too.
