Appalling we waited Two hours for our food and it was cold had to keep going to the bar for drinks as no one would come to the table never again avoid

Update - came here after 3 years and enjoyed a similar experience. A great place to go for family and larger group dining. Very modern restaurant with a good menu. Portions aren't the largest but filling enough. A few interesting things on the menu alongside the standard stuff you would expect e.g chicken and chorizo risotto with edamame beans and harrissa. Staff very friendly and helpful. Better than most Italian restaurant chains I have been to.

Just had a meal here and everything was spot on! The Double Pepperoni was a standout - perfect taste, great portion, and very nicely presented. The service was top-notch too; the team greeted us warmly and made sure we were enjoying our experience from start to finish. The place was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Cosy place, good pizza and not only Helpful staff

We booked this restaurant for a Xmas party for 17 people, from start to finish correspondence was excellent and staff were extremely accommodating. The food, service, drinks and general ambiance was perfect! Everything was spot and and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

The staff are so attentive and wonderful. I have been a number of times with either just my wife or the whole family. The kitchen produce some fantastic quality food at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

I have just enjoyed a lovely afternoon with 14 other family members at Wildwood and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service we received was fantastic. Staff were always checking to see if everything was ok, checking if we wanted more drinks and helping out whenever we needed anything. I just wanted to say thank you for being so helpful and accommodating to a large party of diners you really made it easy and I would recommend 100%. Thank you.

Some work colleagues and I had a Christmas meal here. The food was great, the restaurant was warm and well-lit and our server was very attentive. A great time was had by all. Well done, Wildwood!

I recently visited and had a brilliant time! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere really made the evening special. The service was top-notch; the team was friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. One area for improvement would be the drink menu – I’d love to see more sugar-free options added. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to return!

The food and the staff were amazing. The only downside was that the restaurant was extremely cold, so much so that I had to put my coat on for most of the time I was there.

I had a lovely festive evening out recently! The food was top-notch, especially the spaghetti carbonara and the baked chocolate cookie dough – both were delicious and presented beautifully. The atmosphere was exactly what I hoped for, really festive and welcoming. Although the service was generally warm and friendly, the speed could have been a tad quicker, but it didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, I can't wait to return for more of those tasty dishes!

We had such a lovely time here. We came in a Sunday afternoon and all the staff were so friendly. The good was all lovely, no faults at all. Plenty of gf and dairy free options.

A great experience with attentive staff

25 estimated delivery time turned into an hour. Food was freezing cold as in just taken out of a fridge cold. This seems to be the standard now for just eat deliveries.

I had an awesome experience at this place! The food and drinks were top-notch, and the staff were super friendly, making me feel welcomed right from the start. Everything was spotlessly clean, which really added to the vibe. They checked in on me during the meal and even brought the bill and dessert menus promptly. Overall, it was a fantastic outing, and I can't recommend it enough!

Just had a lovely family lunch here today. The food was good as was the service, my only one reservation was the price especially the soft drinks. Two rounds of Diet Coke was £31 which in my mind was too expensive. The total bill for 4 adults and 1 child (4 years old) was £187 for 3 courses which was a little more than I wanted to pay for lunch. Maybe a lunch menu would be good at weekends as well as Mon to Fri.

Beautiful food, great vibe, excellent service

A wonderful place to go and eat lovely food, always friendly staff, good variety of foods of everything. Very clean, toilets, the whole area, good value as well. We went there as booked to go to the Hazlitt Theatre to see a play.

Just had a great dinner and everything was spot on! The food was delicious, especially the Zucchini fritti and Minute Steak – full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional; the team really went above and beyond, making us feel welcomed from the start to the friendly farewell. I did think the Antipasto could’ve had a bit more bread and the Calamari needed a little rethink, but overall, it was a lovely experience. Can't wait to come back!

Great food and service would recommend if your in Maidstone

We attended as a family, including adults and children on a Sunday evening. We all had a ranger of food from steak sandwiches, pasta dishes and pizzas and everyone had nothing but praise for the meal! The portions were a lovely size, especially the puddings and it'll be a resturant that we will visit again! The service was quick, the staff friendly and the price was amazing for the food we got!

Went to Wildwood Maidstone for date night on Wednesday 30th Oct with my fiancé. We decided to eat here for dinner before the cinema. Going here was one of the best decisions we made as the whole experience was just lovely! The food was amazing! We had calzone and salmon fish cakes and both were absolutely incredible! So fresh and tasty and the calzone was the best I’ve ever ever had! We were served by the lovely Maia who was super friendly, kind, always smiling and made sure we had a great experience. The restaurant was so clean, cosy, and we had a lovely table right in the corner by a window and was just a really enjoyable night. Me and my fiancé have decided to 100% return again!!! Best restaurant in Maidstone by far. Thank you Maia and Wildwood for an amazing dinner :D

Great service, delicious food and nice atmosphere.

Nice place in the heart of Kent. It is an Italian place next to the fremlin walk. The food was good, I had carbonara, which was a big portion. The service was a bit odd. When we ordered, we were the only people there. Then more and more people arrived, and they got their food almost instantly, we had to wait for ages. The same happened with the drinks, but this time, I could see our drinks on the counter with nobody to collect them. The atmosphere was good, it is a big place with lots of seating, so you are most likely getting a seat. The toilets were also fancy.

Never been here before but it was lovely. The food was freshly cooked, great portions, friendly staff who can advise on the menu if you can't decide what to have. Service was great, the atmosphere and surroundings were lovely too. A little more expensive than I usually pay but happy to for the quality of food. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Wow! Tasty food, standout was the side of green beans which were fresh (not frozen) and cooked to my perfection. Clearly, they have a Chef here because the pasta and sausage ragu special was great as was the prima vera risotto - the later again, with perfectly cooked spinach, courgette and topped with beautiful grilled asparagus.

I booked this place for my partner’s birthday a couple of months ago. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was spot on. The starters as well as the mains were exquisite, and the service was impeccable. We did get slightly interrupted by an unwanted guest (a bee), but the staff handled it well! The food we ordered was: calamari and bruschetta (for the starter) and steak+fries as well as seafood risotto. I could not recommend this place more!

We hosted our engagement party here for 34 guests this past weekend. All of our requests were met which made this the perfect venue to host our celebration. We were able to reserve the back room (by the toilets) for the entire evening which was great and felt private and exclusive. I didn’t catch the name of the manager however she was very helpful - we came for a dinner about a month prior just by coincidence as some friends wanted to go, and we did speak with her about the reservation and party menu so it felt organised and we felt looked after. I also called up a few weeks before to confirm pre order and the booking was still confirmed. On the actual evening we were able to arrive slightly early to ‘set up’ as I had place cards, bridal party gifts etc to lay out before people arrived. Our server Mel came and introduced herself early on in the evening and kept ensuring asking if we needed anything else - she even offered to take photos. The food was lovely of course - we pre ordered and everything came out as expected. Rather than order lots of drinks to the table our guests went to the bar to order - there was never a wait or queue and in fact I complimented the bar staff on making my drink so fast I hadn’t even finished the rest of my order! The restaurant itself including toilets was clean. Decorated nicely. Lovely atmosphere. This was also on a busy Saturday night with several other large parties and the service was still great. I have absolutely no negative comments. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue. 10 out of 10!!!!

Visited on Monday for lunch with my wife. The lunch menu is extremely good value and I went for all three courses. The food was great with the tiramsu being the stand out dish. It was delicious.

Came here for an evening meal with my boyfriend. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced, as well as being served promptly by the brilliant staff. Huge selection of drinks available and the food menu is also vast with something for everyone! Can’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back :)

Starter The focaccia was heavenly. 10/10 Pizza was nothing special but definitely wasn't bad. 8/10 The brownie was the best desert I have ever had, it was perfectly soft and warm. 11/10

First time going in here and gotta say it was an amazing experience, staff were very welcoming with smiles all around and me and my mate had the rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce, and honestly it was better than the steakhouse and the sauce wasn't overpowering either which I can very rarely find anywhere else! Very much recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back in the future! From chef to restaurant very well done 👍

Ordered the buffalo cheese pasta with tomato and basil. Very disappointed with the taste. Not nearly enough buffalo cheese and the sauce was poorly made (way too sour!!). The amount of pasta plated was generous though.

Having lost Prezzo in Maidstone, my friend and I have been looking for a lunch venue that allows you to eat, chat and enjoy a bottle of prosecco without being hassled and made to feel hurried. Wildwood met all these requirements and we generally enjoyed the experience. My only complaint was the kitchen do not warm/heat the plates when serving the food. My friend had lasagna, baked in the over and piping hot. My carbonara was served on a cold plate and the food was lukewarm very quickly. I asked the waitress if the dish could be microwaved to heat the food and the plate, but she kindly served me a fresh meal on a cold plate so again it quickly cooled, Can't understand how the kitchen don't do such an important part of serving food like warming the plates is not followed. Next time I'll order the lasagna!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wildwood, and I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The food and cocktails were absolutely fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, offering great value for the quality provided. However, what truly made our visit unforgettable was the exceptional service. Silva and another lovely polish lady (whose name I unfortunately forgot) were simply amazing. They went above and beyond to help us organize a proposal, offering the best support and making sure everything was perfect. Their warmth and professionalism added a special touch to an already wonderful evening. If you're looking for a place with great food, delightful cocktails, aesthetic and with an outstanding service, Wildwood Maidstone is the place to go. Highly recommended! Fantastic food and service. Thoroughly recommend.

Food was excellent. The staff make it even more special. I had the seafood linguine which had so much seafood but just needed a bit more depth in flavour with the tomato sauce. Drink prices quite high but expected. As my daughter's birthday they also put a candle on her dessert.

Requested for extra spicy Penne Arrabiata and the chef did not disappoint. Well presented, great service and importantly great tasting food. Went with my girlfriend tonight, our mains were spot on and cooked with fresh ingredients. I haven't been to a Wildwood and years and will be returning. The staff were friendly and attentive and it's refreshing to see a chain restaurant serving quality food as I've been really disappointed with their competition. Well done to the Manager who we spoke to briefly tonight. I will always give kudos to restaurants as hospitality is a tough gig.

I love this place, the staff are so so welcoming and kind and really try to help which is rare these days! They don't act like you owe them something 🤣 there was a dish that I wanted that they had discontinued and they had it made for me! Fyi it was baked brie with caramelised garlic hazelnuts and honey, it's to die for! The food is great and the feel of the place is really lovely too

Came back here to celebrate our birthday again. Yet again good food, it was mothers day but still didn't wait too long for our food but drinks did take a little while but was expected. Went for a large base pizza with a classic mojito.

Looking for a quick bite to hold a business meeting. Due to being the weekend, needed to be a place suitable for children too. Ended up deciding on this place, and we were not disappointed. Wonderfully furnished, comfortable establishment. More than that our server Lauren was very professional, friendly and engaging. Taking the time to answer all of our questions without fuss (Of which there were many, and she had probably answered a million times before). Speedy service with a smile for sharing starters and mains, desserts was a little slower, however there was a sudden influx of customers, so I had anticipated this, and we were approached again by Lauren to apologise for the delay, which was of course fine. It gave us time for our food to settle and to settle business. The food was incredible, the whole experience was truly splendid and will definitely be returning either as a larger business function or privately. Lauren you are truly an asset to the establishment and the chefs are top notch. Many thanks for making our experience one to remember.

Visited with friends (we meet 4 times a year.) First time here in a few years and unfortunately although the service was excellent the food was a complete let down. Starters Olives great but hard to get wrong! Calamari good potion size but over-cooked and rubbery. Pesto bread poorly presented and an absolute rip of for £6 Mains. Overcoked poorly presented Seabass. Steak ordered pink but came grey. Calzone. Undercooked doughy, under seasoned and underfilled. Tasteless. Waitresses were great, really friendly and attentive and one with quicker than lightening reactions saved a knocked over full wine glass from completely soaking me. Unfortunately great service does not compensate the tasteless overpriced poorly presented food so sadly we are unlikely to return.

My daughter had her birthday party with her friends there on Friday the 16th February. Maia was our waitress and was amazing. Lauren helped her too. They made her day very special, The whole team have always been amazingly welcoming every time we have been there. Kasia and Germano have always treated us like family and spoil my daughter so much ever since she was little. The whole team always goes above and beyond for all their customers. Thank you guys for always making our experience there delightful.

Have been to Wildwood a few times, for lunch with family, friends and colleagues. Have also been a few times for dinner with friends and family. Recently went for dinner with my husband and two young children. Our waitress Lauren was great from start to finish! Food was ordered and arrived quickly, both mains and dessert was tasty and beautiful! They accommodated us to sit somewhere where the eldest couldn’t get up and run about and most of all, our server was absolutely brilliant with our children making it an overall lovely experience!

We had a lovely meal here. Food was excellent and great atmosphere. All the staff were lovely smiley people and nothing was too much trouble especially our server Paula. We'll done to everyone, excellent customer service.
