Not a bad spoons, breakfast was a bit lukewarm. I've had hotter buffet food but for 3 quid what do you expect.

Classic 'spoons. Does what it says on the tin! Decent beer at good prices!

Member of staff Oona or Anna (Lady with quite strong Irish accent) very rude, was playing on the gaming machine, she approached me and said I had to cash out because she needed to switch off machine, I said OK no problem and finished my game and cashed out, the machine paid out my winnings to the nearest £ (this is standard) as I still had credit on machine, I went to use on final game, at this point the lady became very rude and abrupt and said " I asked you to cash out" at which point I advised the lady I could not cash out the final amount, I asked her to pay me this in cash, which she replied no as they not her or the pubs machines. I advised the lady that I, therefore, doing what she asked and did not understand why she was being so rude. She then continued to be rude, saying it had been a long day and asking me rudely to hurry up. This employee should not be working in a customer facing role if she intends being rude and abrupt and taking out any work greiviences on customers. I have visited many weatherspoons establishments and have never been spoken to so rudely or be requested to imeadiaitely cash out and prevented from using credits spread in the machine. I will be forwarding a complaint about this member of staff as it was far from acceptable behaviour.

Easy and quick to order, no issues

Over the past few weeks we’ve noticed a huge change in the pub. No longer do you stick to the tables or have dirty glasses piled high in front of you. We’ve asked around and apparently this is down to the new manager Clive. Well done Clive 😊

Popped in en route to the rugby match, so it was packed. Spoons are always good value for money. Didn't eat, so couldn't comment on food.

I checked out the beer on offer online and jumped on the train to Twickenham. My first time here, spacious bar, good selection and ales. I had a London Pride, £2.49 on Wednesday, and one of the Twickenham ales, both in good condition clear and excellent taste. Had the turkey meal which was fine and a decent sized portion. I grow potatoes and the mash with this meal was pretty good. All the staff friendly and welcoming I will be back!

Breakfast is not available. It is getting ready, frustrating that breakfast is not available on certain days. There is no notice, and the menu that is getting provided at the bar is confusing.

Buen servicio por parte del personal, gran elección de comida y bebidas. Mala crítica sobre la comida fría combinada con el inodoro sucio para discapacitados utilizado por dos de mis empleados discapacitados. Más importante es el uso de sillas por los trabajadores tipo constructor con botas sucias y ropa sucia. Dos veces tuve Yeso en mi traje y el año pasado Pintura! La dirección debe introducir algún tipo de código de vestimenta para los constructores, etc. Voy a enviar una queja a la oficina central.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I had at one of your establishments today. I ordered chicken wings, but to my surprise and concern, I found visible feathers on them. This was highly unappetizing and raised questions about the food preparation and quality standards. While I informed the staff, the matter was addressed with a simple apology and replacement of the dish. However, I believe such an incident requires more attention to ensure that it does not happen again. As a loyal customer, I expect high-quality food and care in preparation, and this experience fell short of those expectations. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and review your processes to maintain the standards Wetherspoon is known for. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address this concern. Great pub in the heart of Twickenham, really friendly and attentive staff. Lots of people come here to watch the rugby so the atmosphere is amazing - the table service is quick which is a bonus when the bar is busy.

I can imagine that this one gets busy when the rugby is on. I had a very good IPA: Danish Dynamite for £1.49; absolute bargain. Will return and edit

Cheap, Abbot ale was £2.49 a pint. Food was good, service was excellent. The bar staff were good, food service was good. All together a good night. Shame about the lack of music but that's Spoons for you.

A very very mid Spoons. You get the efficient spoons service and food. It is nice and wide and not claustrophobic, but the vibe is not it. Go for the food and a pre-drink then head to the other pubs/bars in Twicks.

Robert is a credit to the team- his Cmer service and general Bon Vi Verve should be commended and applauded- I have never come across someone who exudes the levels of friendliness, professionalism & Bar standards that Robert does - His behaviour Customer Service is the best I have ever witnessed! - This Man is Customer Service personified! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can be nosiy not always get a seat

Just what you would expect from a spoons, full of obscure characters and cheap booze. Easy access at ground level.

Stopped off before the rugby to meet up with some old friends. Food and beer was very good and cheaper than expected. Excellent friendly staff. No complaints - you get what you pay for - so definitely value for the money.

They forgot to serve me a meal the worker simply said she didn’t know what to do about it so my child was left without her meal she offered nothing to make the situation better !

No estoy seguro de si ha habido un cambio de gestión de nuevo como visitas anteriores ha habido un ambiente horrible y el personal gritado, grosero y miserable. La comida era deliciosa y yo y amigos realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Pasé mucho más tiempo en esta visita de lo que hemos hecho anteriormente. El pub estaba mucho más limpio y fresco que los fines de semana anteriores. Gracias a ti y a tu equipo por haceros sentir orgullosos.

Great wetherspoons with a marvellous range of real ales. Friendly staff, especially the landlady who made a point of coming to ask us how it all went. Excellent meal & ale. Thanks.

If you’re going to close half the bar make the people queuing that side aware instead of letting them wait half an hour

Nice Spoons where you can grab a pint and a bit of grub for the typically reasonable prices Spoons are renowned for. Yes, they've got their critics but to be honest I'm fed up with paying £7 a pint nowadays and occasionally just want a reasonable hour or two out.

Maya the pub manager is very welcoming and her staff are super attentive. The food, service, atmosphere and cleanliness of the pub is excellent. It's also family and child friendly which was great for our daughters. We ate their twice, lunch and breakfast, both were great experiences. Well done, keep up the good work!

Really great Wetherspoons. Food great, plates are hot too, very clean and well laid out, quick service, friendly staff. Recommended. Another visit today, same high standard, friendly staff, we all ordered something different and all equally lovely, hot and fresh. Highly recommend and great value for money.

Beer (especially IPA) prices are £1.79-£3. And taste is very good. Food is not bad.

In this time of sky-high prices, this restaurant chain offers meals at very reasonable prices. If you are a Chinese who is as poor as me, the price of hot food in this bar will make you temporarily forget about the hard work of making money.

Great prices but it is what it is cheap beer people seem happy with the food didn't see any complaints everyone was happy not the sort of place that I use very often but great service from all of the bar persons

Nice and spacious. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Lots of drinks to choose from. As with every Weatherspoons pub, great value for money.

Very nice lunch and they had a beer festival on to. Good selection of ales and very polite helpful staff.

Always enjoy time spent in Wethersoons, I went with a friend on Curry Night thoroughly enjoyed our meal and a couple of glasses of wine...I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

On a cold, rainy day, the air con was on full blast. Several people asked the manager to turn it down, as half of the bar were in coats (in July!) but it was still freezing by the time we left 2 hours later. A very disappointing trip into a pub we normally enjoy.

Los inodoros suben un tramo empinado de escalones. ¡Típico de una Wetherspoons! Gran ambiente y siempre ocupado!

Fuimos aquí por un par de bebidas temprano por la noche antes de ir al Eel Pie Club. No pensé que estuviera a la altura del estándar habitual de Wetherspoons. El personal era desenfadado y la clientela era bastante áspera y listo Nos quedamos cómodos aquí. El lado positivo es una excelente opción de ales reales a los precios habituales.

This was on the rugby for navy/army so it was absolutely crowded just after we arrived. My food was cold and then had to go run around through the crowds to find someone to heat it up. They then made me a new one, but it took so long that my friends had finished eating by the time it came back. So 1 for service because they had food waiters and drinks waiters. And the crowd was mostly drinking, not eating. But the environment is very nice. Wouldn't say it's a Wetherspoons when you walk in

Yet another fine meal at the William Webb Ellis in Twickenham. Fish and chips this time and it was delicious - together with a naked ladies beer. The William Webb Ellis is a very spacious Weatherspoon's pub ideally located in the centre of Twickenham, and well worth a visit

Great pub. Nice to be able to get 3 pints for just over £10. Quick service. Puts other pubs to shame.

Been going in this pub for more than 15 years. Always get treated well, and enjoy my time there.

Great location not far from station, good service, big team yo help customers. Nice and calm atmosphere. Big seating area as well as back garden and front seating. Had couple of hoppy IPA beers and enjoyed because of nice summer hot day.

Great prices but service was very slow after the rugby

Most of the empty tables had not been cleared or wiped , so I was forced to sit with old glasses. I ordered with the app, but after 20 minutes my drink had not arrived. I complained about the lack of my drink at the bar, but was told it would be another 10 minutes before they could get around to serving me. I asked for a refund so they summoned the manager. The manager sauntered over to me a couple of minutes later and arranged the refund, but he didn't seem at all bothered about the poor service. It was a Monday night and the pub was only about half full. The manager should ensure that there are sufficient staff on, or if they are struggling to cope he should help out with serving customers, or clearing tables. Not impressed. Update: I never received the refund

So expensive for a weatherspoons

A good mix of alcohol and friendly helpful staff, but the food is just Microwave and poor in flavour. Don't eat there if you have taste buds.

Probably the most expensive and quietest weatherspoons I’ve ever been to. £12.78 for a pint of San Miguel and a pint of Punk IPA. No wonder the place was empty. And both served in plastic cups! Don’t know if this is the norm. Or maybe the plastic cups were because of the rugby being on. But the inflated prices, I’m not so sure.

Like any other spoons I guess, but slightly more expensive than most and slightly more knobheads.

Mr Hudson behind the bar gave exceptional service. His chiselled jawline and cute smile made our evening. If only everyone was as kind and handsome.

The bar service is abysmal but the food and service though ordering on the app is fine. The curries are 2🌶️ milder than advertised.

Great all rounder as Spoons always are. Great value for money. However food can be hit and miss - chicken and bacon salad can be great or awful. Today in Twickenham it was awful, tough chicken and bacon, no dressing. Overall I'm happy though.

Three staff behind the Bar chatting ,fifteen people waiting to order. walked off and went to the Barmy Arms for good service.

It is way better Wetherspoon than other sites. Airy place, more space between tables, and the whole atmosphere is nicer.

I visited this place today and I ordered the American cheeseburger which should of course come with cheese! I told the lady on shift who said she was the main manager and the one in charge. When I told her about the cheese missing she said we already explained the order at the bar (which she did not) and was being really rude. All I said to her was as a manager you should be speaking nicely and not with that attitude. I ordered 3 sol’s before at the bar and all because I said to her she needs to drop her attitude as she is the manager, she took 2 bottles of my sols from my table and said I want you to finish your food and get out? Why? Because I was not white? I felt really racially attacked by her actions and she did not even refund the 2 sol’s she just took of my table (please check the camera around 14:25 on 22/03/2024. I will be taking this matter to court and filing a suit against her as I felt racially attacked and she treated me like dirt This is very upsetting for me and ruined my experience. Never going to visit again the worst lady I have ever met

Lovely food, friendly staff and nice and clean pub

Service was good, atmosphere also good but the food was almost cold! We don’t like to complain, as you never know what you’ll get back so we ate what we could but won’t be eating here again. One side of the burger was burnt, the other side barely cooked, peas were cold and inedible, mixed grill tasted ok but was luke warm. Not one item on our plate was hot!!! God help them if food critics were to visit and rate….?!
