Bueno, empecemos encontramos este pequeño pud por una calle que vi el letrero , nos tomamos una copa en un pud al que vamos pero estaba ocupado y la hora feliz era una estafa, así que eso es lo que nos llevó al personal de la taberna eran increíbles y amables , tenía una bonita pinta al lado en la pequeña parte de la calle que es parte del pub, el pub es viejo sentirlo con una chimenea abierta, una selección decente de cervezas reales en borrador, el pub fue reconstruido en la década de 1930, pero mantuvo todo su encanto, uno de los pubs más antiguos de la zona, volverá a la pequeña joya

Riley era increíble y muy amable, no podría haber pedido una mejor recepción - Riley sirvió una gran pinta también. Definitivamente volveré y probaré más de su excelente selección de cervezas.

Oh wow! We’re here again, this pub never disappoints, the gleaming cleanliness is stunning! This time we were greeted by 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧 and the team. The choice of rose wines was perfect for me and apparently the ale was delish for my husband.Another one of our favourite pubs when we’re in London that never lets us down!

I was due to meet friends to attend a show close by, however had some time to kill beforehand and decided to pop in for a drink. This is a lovely pub that is tucked away, however has a really welcoming atmosphere.

I held a great event at Williamson's Tavern in the Martha's Cellar Bar - it was easy to book and arrange, and Williamson's were great at answering any questions in the run-up. Martha's Cellar Bar is a lovely space, and the staff were all friendly and efficient on the night. We had food from the buffet menu, which was really great, too. I'd highly recommend Williamson's.

A lovely traditional pub with great atmosphere. Spend some time to read the articles on the walls around the bar and you’ll appreciate the significant history to the venue and area too. There’s a nice enough range of drinks on tap, prices are reasonable for the area and there’s a decently priced lunch menu. While located in a bit of an alleyway there’s a small amount of seating outside and with the friendly staff I’d certainly return.

Second year in a row I organised a Quiz Night for our team members in the Downstair's Bar and it was outstanding - ideal space, all the staff were extremely helpful given the amount of people and Malin/team very quick in responding back to questions/queries - the food/drinks/timings were all great, and all of us really enjoyed it and made it such a pleasant experience Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a similar event around the City.

Went back to one of my favourite pubs in London, oh how beautiful it looks at Christmas! The beer was excellent, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. We had a bite to eat, the landlords platter went down really well. We will all definitely be back the next time we’re in London. Thank you Sabrina, Malin and staff.

My office just had our Xmas party here and it went very well. The function room can fit around 80 people (standing) and has its own bar so you dont need to venture up to the main bar for service. Malin who works here helped me organise the event from start to finish and nothing seemed to be to big of an ask for her, and she was always smiling and replied to my emails promptly. Food was good and arrived on time and she even let us connect our laptop to the pubs TV so that we could have a quiz and a slide show at our event, and she even let us have control of the music. so we could have our own tunes on in the venue. Thanks for everything and hopefully you will have us back next year lol.

Table for seven was booked and we were squeezed onto tables of varying height which wouldn’t normally accommodate more than six. No table ordering - all food and drinks to be ordered at bar. No starters - all were off. Half of the main courses were off. The pie I finally received wasn’t the one I ordered - it was very nice though apart from the gravy in a side pot which was lukewarm. Chips came after the pie had been eaten. Love the pub, one of the best in the City. Food offering Weatherspoonsesque.

The cleanest pub ever! Staff knowledgeable about the beer they serve and polite too!! Very friendly and professional , will definitely recommend, we’ll be back soon.

I was invited here for drinks with friends and what a great surprise to find this lovely pub, a true hidden gem in the city of London! The pub has a great selection of drinks, welcoming and attentive staff, and the food meny looked great so we will try that next time! The bar manager or supervisor was great when a few more friends arrived and they allocated us to a bigger table. Truly great atmosphere and I will def come back soon!

Went for a lovely lunch with my partner. We both had the club sandwich. It was amazing. Very busy but we didn't have to wait for food. Friendly staff. We will be going back very soon as so much more that we want to try.

If you want a quieter, more secluded drink then look no further than the Williamson’s tavern. Always a good atmosphere but never a scrum for the bar. Staff are great and always happy to help.

The second time we've used this venue for a pub quiz - Martha's cellar is perfect for this as it is self-contained. Staff were lovely, as usual. The bar snacks were of a high standard. We will definitely be back!

Tried to book an event at Williamson's Tavern. The staff were totally incompetent. Received incorrect information, blaming staff shortage etc etc. Sabrina was especially rude and totally unprofessional. Would not recommend trying to book an event here as communication was just shocking.

One of my favourite pubs to visit in London! Efficient and welcoming staff, good value food and drink and a lovely place to spend the afternoon or evening. Often end up staying a couple of hours even if I just intended to stay for lunch.

Sightseeing in the City of London, we were looking for a place to have lunch and had trouble finding a place to eat, tired and hungry we finally came upon this pub. Although we weren't too sure about it, the moment we stepped through the door we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff called David, he took us staight to the dining room and gave us excellent service, anticipating our needs. I would have given this place 4 stars for food and value, but in recognition of the service David provided I have given it 5 Stars. So thank you Davis we were feeling rather miserable and tired when we arrived, but left a lot happier.

Came here with a friend for a few drinks, we had a lovely time and there was a great selection of gins. Staff were incredibly friendly and made good conversation. Scott, Ani and Emmie were very welcoming! We will surely be back!

Tucked away down an alley in the City, but surprisingly large inside. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was very decent and it was a great spot for a relaxed conversation over a pint.

Took 2 groups of people here in January for lunch after a City walk and everyone enjoyed the experience and the food. As they were history groups the history of the original inn and the stories about the ghost went down well.

Came across this pub when out walking with friends, was greeted with the warmest welcome by staff. Food was delivered promptly and tasted delicious.

We had lunch here, two meals, a side order and two drinks.It came to nearly £50, I thought he had got it wrong. When the receipt was printed off I’d been charged 10% service charge! For what??? I had to go to the bar and order myself, so I hadn’t received any service at that point. They brought food over, but no further interaction before we left. The food was ok but nothing special, so unfortunately won’t be returning when there is so much choice in and around that area.I only expect to pay a service charge in a restaurant where you receive table service.

Tucked away in a side street near St. Paul’s....full of history and very popular with the city folk who work near-by. On a family day trip to London during the Christmas holidays we popped in for lunch. Food was very good and the beer excellent. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The pub blends ‘old’ London very well with the modern city.

Somewhat tucked away off Bow Lane and so close to the Bank and Guildhall few are aware that the building was the home of City Lord Mayors before the opening of Mansion House and there is still evidence of its past history.It has much of the traditional pub about it and like many City hostelries gets packed to overflowing late afternoon.early evening but has a relaxing air when its three spacious bars are under utilised in the mid afternoon.Williamsons does not attempt to compete with the vast selection of quality eating houses which surround it but offers a wide selection of interesting snacks with assorted meat pies being a speciality

Unfortunately we didn't find this place so great and not sure how someone can. It was too noisy, smelly and the food was the worst I have ever had in any pub (honestly). My vegetarian pie was nothing similar to a pie, it was burnt and veggie was just sad with no taste... My husband and friends felt the same. We will never go back.

Came in for lunch on Saturday, lovely old building with modern furnishing, perfect for escaping the heat. Great selection of ciders and ales. The food was perfect, a good choice of pub food and some healthy options too.

We came across the bar while wandering around the city. Great place in a quaint location. Our fancied some snacks so ordered there offer of three bar snacks. We waited for ages and noticed others had ordered food as well. We were given condiments and cutlery. Food was delivered to a nearby table who had ordered after us. We waited again for about 10 mins. My hubby then glanced across and noticed it was the same order as ours. Hubby went to the bar to enquire about our order. The waiter made a few checks, then went to the same nearby, questioned them about there order and took two bowls away from them. He then stated our order was given to another table. He had the bowls in his hands and we said we don’t want them! He replied they haven’t touched them!We said we wanted a refund and after the offer of it being freshly cooked we were given a refund and even free chips. A nice atmosphere for drinks but would be very cautious about ordering food. We understand mistakes happen but do bot want food that has sat on someone’s table. We have no complaints about the barman and the respect his recycling attitude refund dealt with professionally by bar manager

Have been waking pass this hidden, historical pub a few times and decided to go in - great and friendly service, lovely atmosphere and great lunch, highly recommend the toad in whole - delicious, I will be back!

Cuando tuve preguntas sobre la posibilidad de tener un evento privado en el pub, el asistente del gerente me ayudó de inmediato y me brindó toda la información que necesitaba. Ahora he reservado esta pequeña joya de pub y definitivamente puedo recomendarlo. Volveré : )
