Wing Cheung House in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We had a delicious Chinese takeaway from Wing Cheung House this evening, the best chinese that we've had in a long time. It was convenient to pay by card, unlike some other establishments. However, the prices are a little higher than average, and a minimum order of £40 is required for complimentary prawn crackers, which are often offered free at other places for smaller orders but I had to argue for due to my order being £37. Therefore, we've deducted one star for that & cost.

Food is good but portion is small.

I’m here on holiday from the midlands, we are Chinese takeaway regulars and this place leaves the takeaways in Derby standing. The quality and quantity were perfect. Well done guys 👍👍👍

First chinese tried in Falmouth. Went based on google rating. 4 of us had takeaway and were all impressed. My chicken curry and egg fried rice was spot on. Just enough spice and enjoyable

Excellent takeaway... Tricky parking but so worth it

S&P chicken was burnt, chilli beef was overly slimy and vinegary, chips weren’t cooked through, curry was cold and to top it all off hair in the food. Terrible for the price. Refunded and never ordering again.

We usually use two other Chinese takeaways but my husband wanted to try somewhere different. I’m sorry but it’s probably the worst Chinese we have ever had!!

I have been using this Chinese for a few years now, food has gradually got worse, tonight’s and last time both went in the bin, shan’t go again

Great food always, been using this take away for some time. Only annoying thing is, when ordering on the telephone for pick up at a particular time, it's never ready at that time. It's as if they start cooking when you get there, and they are sure of payment. Which defeats the object of telephone ordering, always on tender hooks there waiting for food, on yellow lines, as no where around there to park. Food good though.

What an absolute joke first they give our order to someone else then they leave half of our order out food awful chips cold hardly any meat in chow mien no curry that we ordered

The food is always tasty and fresh. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I do recommend Wing Cheung to our friends.

Refused to take a card payment of the amount asked for and said that they charge a minimum fee of £10 for payments which is against guidelines for card payment operators (particularly the one they used) nowhere anywhere does it say that this is a requirement and has lead to me wasting my time trying to collect food this evening, staff member who answered the phone picked up the phone attempted to take my order and then put the phone on the table for a good 5 minutes too, leaving me waiting even longer when trying to order. Won’t be returning any time soon, you might want to check up on the terms of service with your providers as this is a way of scamming customers out of even more money by forcing them to pay a “service fee”.

Food is reasonably good, and you pay a reasonable price.

I had a king po beef and my wife had king prawn satay, my meal was extremely hot the beef like leather my wife’s was so salty she could not eat it.

Used to be the best Chinese in the whole of Falmouth and penryn, not any more, absolutely poor now, food that had no garlic listed in ingredients is full of garlic, overly spiced and seasoned food. Crispy beef was slimey, even the chicken ball were nasty. When we phoned to complain person on the other end not interested and having a conversation with someone else, no solutions offered, will not be going there again and strongly recommend that you don't either. Update Took a chance when my partner ordered a takeaway recently, I have to say was very surprised, food was excellent and didn't have to wait long (was a Friday night too) improved dramatically.

Had the sweet and sour chicken hong style 😪 was chewy and tasteless and the egg fried rice was well overcooked and no flavour standards have definitely dropped but prices gone up will be seeking somewhere else

Keep coming back to this takeaway that doesn’t taste like a takeaway, like so many Chinese do. Been coming here for 25years and rarely find anywhere as good for that holiday takeaway meal.

My favourite Chinese take away in Falmouth. Great food and each dish has it's own distinctive flavour. My every time dish is the Chicken Chow Mein - it is really lovely and a 10/10. Food tastes freshly cooked and the number of people waiting is always a good indicator.

Bland over priced reduced portions not as menu describes

I had the sweet n sour chicken balls. Very large portion would do for 2 people. Very nice. I would phone your order as can be very busy.

Asked for 2x house special chop suey noodles and large egg frayed rice and chicken balls( barbecue )but no noodles came

I've used this place on a regular basis from 1989. I've been right through the menu from the first dish to the last 3 times. Wonderful food. Run by a wonderful family And I've never had a complaint Try 74 and prawn crackers, mmm my favourite.

Great food. One of the best Chinese takeaways in Falmouth. Go in place a order and maybe walk down the road two minutes and grab a pint in Falmouth's smallest pub the Madon Arms. 😉 While you wait.
