Wing Wah & Ming Moon Karaoke in Birmingham

Olu was our server and she was very kind and helped us a lot !

Hadn't been here for a while but it wasn't as good as it usually is. Staff that greeted us rude and miserable. Guy who bought our drinks after a very very long wait was also quite rude and food wasn't being topped up as quick as usual.

The food was very good and they have free wifi, customer service very good

I've seen the price of the takeaway box rise twice and £13.99 for a box that's not very big is too much greed on their behalf.

Came to eat here yesterday and the food and service was amazing, however I did see an encounter where a waitress (Naina - I asked her name after I had finished eating) had foul language used towards her by the lady working at the cashier, I think her name was Adda or something along those lines. As someone that also works in hospitality I don’t believe that is the way co workers should treat each other especially not in an open environment around customers or even in general. It did slightly leave a bad taste in my mouth about your staff I have to admit. Props to Naina for being professional.

The teppanyaki was really good, the choices was great on the buffet line. We sat in a nice location but we end up on two person sofas which were slightly awquard to sit on as to get out you pushed them back and to sit on then you needed them pushed in. Staff were great and very helpful and friendly.

Excellent everytime we've been, very tentative.

It’s my third time in this restaurant. To be very honest, food was okay today. It could be better. Atmosphere was nice and chill, full of people around, playing some good music and songs in background during dinner time. Importantly, I really loved the way of taking care of the guests from Staffs who served me. Two Staff members, Shristi and Mehwish were really hardworking and amazing people who provided our orders within few minutes. Staff Shrish and Mehwish, thank you very much for your hospitality and kind gestures and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025!

I visited here today with my family of 7 for my daughter’s birthday. It was very welcoming & food was delicious a lot of choice . I noticed that they asked us to pay before taking us to our table which was fine & we did but then throughout our stay I did notice others were paying after at the table. I do wonder why this was the case for us ? We will be returning as we had a lovely time, I do recommend to anyone

Upon arriving in Birmingham was hungry and was looking for buffet places with decent reviews and quite a few of them, found this place, the place is quite nice however I found the food to lack seasoning even the noodles were tasteless, I expected a lot better looking at the reviews, who knows maybe I came on a bad day

I was eating there yesterday, was served by Naina, really great service and great food, and good place to eat out for occasions or in general.

I wish I could do negative star as the food had no taste whatsoever and then at one point the lady who cleans the table just sprayed the cleaning stuff and we got a load of over spray on are food. The last big point is that in the food industry you’re not meant to put old food on top of new food due to the bacteria and they just dump the old stuff on top. Also they have different chopping boards in the kitchen area so there’s a lot of cross contamination so my advice is to stay clear of these places

Decent food I think some things just weren’t fresh because the pot has been out for a while . Nice ice cream . What ruined it for me is when I went to get water and they give you a tiny cup but there was something in mine it made me feel sick.

My cousin and I were able to get a table without reservations on a Friday night. Staff appeared friendly and approachable. Quite a good selection of dishes to choose from, and the food I had tasted pretty good.

Probably the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. For a buffet the food was also very warm and fresh. The restaurant was very busy but given the quality of the food it's not surprising. Can't wait to come back some day!

If there was a minus 1 star, I'd give them. Extremely poor quality food and highly overpriced. Shredded crispy duck tasted nothing like it. Monitor was basically carbonated water, lemon and mint. They made us to pay before getting us seated meanwhile tables around us paid their bills after eating; wonder what that insinuated. I confronted them upon exit and the greeter was so quick to defend saying they ask others to pay. They obviously profile their customers upon entry. Terrible! We didn't look anything like unruly but nevermind. I will never set foot on there and would highly discourage any friends or family from going there.

Service provided by Mehwish perfect. Shame about dry food and not many English sauces e.g. mayo. Also, noodles and egg fried rice full of veg. Would be nice to have more variety of plain food.

took my girlfriend here for her first time and she really loved it. the food is amazing and the service given by our waitress was pleasant and very polite and friendly. we will be back again

Went yesterday to celebrate my birthday and it was honestly awful. We arrived and we payed lots of money and the chinese lady at the till was very nice. Food was nice too. We were rushed out of our karaoke room 30 minutes before our finish time.While we were enjoying our time singing and eating a chinese server lady that spoke 5% english came and took our plates without asking. When we told her to leave it she kept on saying “manager,manager” and rushed us out the room.

We always go here to eat when we are in Wolverhampton. The food was delicious and not dried out like at some other buffet restaurants we have been to. Highly recommend and book ahead as they are usually always very busy

The woman who I presume was manager of waiters was a little rude. Gave her a tip and her response was yeah ok and then when I asked for more cutlery she seemed inconvenienced by my request. The rest of the other staff were lovely. Food was mostly fine apart from some being a little cold

My partner and myself were recommended to ming moons for a truly pan asian experience, we were blown away with the ambiance the friendliness of staff and choice of food drinks etc and I would like to give a very special thanks to ANAS who served us and looked after all our needs nothing was too much trouble I'm looking forward to calling again In the new year I am recommending it to everyone I know

Amazing place, amazing food n staff

Food bland ..main ussue was no drinks arrived at table. Despite ordering an hour earlier when we arrived. asked about drinks twice...still not arrived by an hour so cancelled them as one was a bottle of prosecco which we had no intention of rushing within the next allocated hour. Generally nice atmosphere.. had nice table allocated but overall disappointed with food and service. Ended only paying and having food...no drinks...stay 1hr 20 mins food only.

Came here to celebrate my mothers 70 birthday. Food was amazing and had a lovely variety. We were kindly updradged to the karoke room and met with great service by Murat Who took care of us for the evening and helped us get extra time in the room

We went for my birthday celebration we had such a nice karaoke room the food and cocktails were great and our server Dinesh & weing look after us very good. Definetly we gonna come back

Great place, great food, service was great. I would just say it's a bit expensive if you only have a small amount. £26.99. The chocolate fountain was not that great.

Been many times, always great..If I have one moan it's when they take you to your table, they always plonk you right next to the people on the next table, seating everyone in a line..I understand they want to keep people on one area but we should be able to spread out within that space..also don't like fact that you only get 1 knife and fork to use for all courses now, there used to be pots of spares before.

We visited for a friend's birthday and had a lovely experience. The staff member who served us was amazing; her name is Komal. The ambience was beautiful.

The food was OK. It was crowded so they have to be doing something right, even after booking a table in advance we had to wait for about 30 minutes to get a table. We asked for extra cutlery, and the lady went to the waste table, got cutlery and cleaned it with tissue, and brought it to us. I was unhappy about that. What will it have taken for her to give us clean cutlery!!!

(based on evening menu) A lovely selection of Asian dishes! Few western options like pizza and chips too. An extensive dessert selection, including a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. Food was often replenished with clean buffet and live cooking stations but temperature of dishes was warm, not hot on a lot of dishes. Great place to visit. 😄

When you're in Birmingham this is one place you must visit !!! ... I have been coming to the restaurant for many years ... I don't live in Birmingham but when l get off the train or coach this is where l go first ... An amazing Chinese buffet in central Birmingham ... Always excellent service from Mehwish 🤗

We always really enjoy this buffet, with staff constantly topping up and refreshing the various dishes. The mr whippy ice cream machine for pudding is great. The place is huge, so when not busy it can feel a bit dead, but the food makes up for it. There's karaoke downstairs, and a takeaway box is 10.50 that you can fill yourself.

The service was awesome and the food today was absolutely tasty. Anas was very helpful. My baby kept making a mess and she was efficient in making sure our table was always clean.

Had lunch there on a Sunday, the service was really good and staff were nice and available. The food was great and fresh. So many options for dessert. Will be visiting soon.

Went here for karaoke for someone else. I was starving when we got there and enquired about food. The options were, a crap platter for a tenner each or, every single person has to get a buffet. It took us about 3 diffrent serves to figure this out. I presume the buffet rule is to stop you sharing your plate with other people( never my intention) , because heaven forbid they not get there pennies worth. In the end I got the buffet and sat upstairs, wich resulted in me missing some karaoke time. This rule made more sense to me after because if I had shared there bland rice and chow mein amongst the group there would be a lot more negative reviews. With their 1 star hygiene rating they at least need to come through with customer service and they didn’t. When we went upstairs they were slow to find us a table until we mentioned we were missing karaoke. They also refused to take the price of my buffet off the amount we had to spend for the karaoke room. Wouldn’t recommend.

Absolutely peak food everything was fantastic! I couldn't get enough of the sweet and sour chicken. "Banging" as the youngsters call it not only was the food fantastic but so was our server Yu-Peng. In summary absolutely peak food with peak service. Very happy will come again.
