Good all round, it's a pub that does a good carvery!

We had a table for 13 people witch was tables 1. 2. 3 witch was OK, But the tables was not together it was very unfair with the layout, we had to move the tables ourselves, and staff was very unfriendly could not smile or talk nice to you, This is the 2nd time now so will not be going back.

Lovely breakfast, great price and looked after by the lovely Irene, cannot fault it

Wingfield farm never fails to deliver friendly staff good menu and a carvery to die for !!!must be 10 different veg my favourite place in hull !!!big kids play area but separate part if you want to dine with the grown ups !!!great 😊😊😊😊

My host Irene was very nice and friendly, the chef took time to come and chat which is always a bonus, the food is always good and value for money, the manager even came to help with the toaster. Great team, thank you very much.

We had Julia and she went and brought out a desert without us asking for my birthday. She was very kind and friendly.

Each time i visit Wingfield farm the food is always top quality, never left feeling dissatisfied or hungry. I always hope to see Irene when i pop in to eat, such a friendly welcoming and caring hostess :)

Everything was amazing and irene couldn't have done more. She was so welcoming and cheerful and was grafting throughout the pub. The only reason i have it 4 stars is because the toaster took forever to toast the bread and by the time we got the toast our food went cold, but good ol Irene was so helpful and took our food to warm it up in the microwave. Overall it was a pleasant experience and the food is of good quality and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

We visited on 10th January 2025. I had booked in advance as I know it can be busy on a Friday evening. When we arrived I said we had a booking for 6pm and gave my name to which her reply was we don't have a booking under that name. I proceeded to show her the booking confirmation email and she just replied we do not have a booking under that name. The pub was really busy but they managed to find us a table which was a table of 4 but she had turned the couple before us in the queue away saying there were no tables. Onto the food we both opted for the carvery, the chef was miserable and when informing them that a number of the vegetable and gravy pots were empty he just ignored me and Co ti ued to serve people which was causing a bottleneck as everyone was waiting for things to be replenished. Was looking for a cake to take home which I tried to order online but they only had two options left neither of which we fancied. The waitress came and took our plates and asked if everything was okay with the meal. We replied apart from not being able to order a cake to take away as out of stock. She ssid go to the till as they will have more options. They dodnt

Good place to come for breakfast, Irene was a great breakfast host, always coming round and making sure everyone’s plates were taken and everything was clean 😊also due to it being my birthday recently got a free slice of cake after joining the farmhouse inns website!!

Called in for a coffee and was welcomed by Irene. She was very welcoming. The food looked amazing I will be back for the breakfast buffet.

Excellent place for breakfast . Only problem like most bar restaurants the toaster takes forever and it’s pot luck with how it comes out. Apart from that good selection of breakfast fare. Special mention to Irene who represents the Farm chain wonderfully.

Very grubby, meals arrived partly cold - some parts red hot (as expected) sides all cold. Service was poor, felt like all the staff wanted us to leave. No mention of the kitchen closing at a certain time so puddings were out the question. Two different waitresses walked in to my chair several times with no apology. Can't understand why anyone would come here.

Nice generic carvery. Plenty of choice of vegetables, gravies and sauces.

It was a turkey and tinsel and the staff couldn't have done any more for us, they were so accommodating, to the point of really trying to get us in the Christmas spirit. It was our first time doing a turkey and tinsel and it certainly won't be our last. A lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed their food.

Party of 6 for Christmas Day 2025 all agree food was excellent, had to ask to go to carvery and for dessert as no one seemed to be waiting on the table, when asked service was very good, as a vegetarian I ordered the vegetarian carvery. Was very disappointed to find the spouts had chopped bacon mixed in the dish so my Christmas dinner was Broccoli, carrot, mash, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes not good at £65 per head

We visited Wingfield Farm on Christmas Day a party of five, we sat in the adult area. The table was nicely decorated with name tags, Christmas table cloth and crackers. Our starters were lovely we all chose the carvery for the main course which you could go up for once you were ready. The carvery had plenty to choose from including different types of gravy. The deserts can be eaten in or boxed up to take away, we had ours boxed up and finished the meal with coffee and a mince pie. Irene and all the staff were very attentive and jolly, this was our first visit and we will definitely be back again.

As always a lovely Christmas meal and atmosphere. All staff are excellent and a special thanks to Irene for her work each year.

Great choice of vegetables to go with roast. Yorkshire puddings were a bit tough and food could have been warmer but ok overall.

Very friendly welcome by Irene our host. The food was good, the veggie sausages were hard but the rest was good value for the price. Give the Yorkies a miss! The world needs more Irenes

Ordered 3 carvery meals and a chicken meal. The carvery was at a great standard, lots of choice and plenty of meat. The chicken meal was also good although the steak was a bit tough. Overall extremely helpful and attentive staff even though it was extremely busy. Would definitely visit again

We visited the venue on Monday morning, to which we where greeted by Irene, who was lovely and polite. We decided to go for the all you can eat breakfast which where a good choice and had plenty of options. While eating our meal we where ask by Irene if everything was to our satisfaction which we replied yes thank. On our way out after finishing we received many thanks from the staff,that was a lovely start to what where a very busy day for myself and my partner. Thank you

Meet up half way between my brother and myself to have Christmas get together Brilliant atmosphere food was plentiful and fresh Staff attentive without being over whelming especially Leanne and Olivia

Very nice carvery, cakes a massive disappointment (style over quality) sponge very dense, stodgy and bland.

No vegan option at the carvery. Nothing labelled either as vegan (eg gravy) or with allergens. Veg were largely cold and either over or undercooked. While staff were courteous and helpful, they all looked miserable. It was a nice gesture to offer the meal for free for which, thanks, but I wasn't impressed and won't be returning.

I recently visited with my mum and daughter for breakfast and was greeted by the wonderful Irene, Irene was lovely and polite and helpful for our full time there, we got the unlimited breakfast buffet and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return

I had such a lovely time at Wingfield farm. Was checked on by Julia and was made very welcome. It is my go to carvery and it never fails to make a good meal. Food is great, atmosphere is great and a whole round great time.

Popped in without a booking for a brekkie after this place was recommend by a friend. We were made to feel really welcome by Irene as soon as we got through the door who told us how the buffet works and let us choose a table. Brekkie was absolutely banging, plenty out, all really tasty and fresh. Really like the bacon done on a griddle so it's got a nice smokey taste without the greast of being fried. Fresh coffee was yummy too. Place is really nice and clean, can tell its well looked after. Well worth a visit for breakfast, will definitely go back

I prebooked a quite adult table but was put in a very busy area.. Was told it's Christmas there are no other tables.. Yet we noticed on arrival an through our 2hr stay quite ground level tables was available and unoccupied.. Therefore with a dislocated hip I had to manage the steps.. The carvery was very good shame it was spoiled by the staffs attitude
