Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had… I had the breakfast sandwich and my partner had the smoores French toast, these were also amazing. The staff were very friendly.

The service was very friendly, we were seated quickly. They checked in on us often if we needed anything even though there were a lot of other customers. Got the eggs royale and it was good. I got the luxury hot chocolate made from lindor but without them marshmallow fluff on top and it was just the right amount of sweet and rich. Loved it

Great brunch spot in Oldham. Decent menu options, good atmosphere and polite, attentive staff. The food is well made and tastes fresh and the portions are generous. They also have a good bakery selection at the front of the store.

Have been wanting to try Wonderlust for a while.. and the brunch menu did not disappoint. Surprised by the interior decor, was such a pleasant surprise when walking in. Good range of items on the menu, for all ages. Went for the full English which was cooked very well and tasted amazing. Kids ordered corn dogs, these were freshly cooked and went down a treat. Side order of Wonderlust pancakes which were thick and fluffy with a creamy chocolate sauce you could drink. Will definitely be going back to try their other items. Went home with a treat from their bakery, the tiramasu was delicious.

An awesome place to dine in! Loved the outside aesthetic and the food did not disappoint either, highly recommend the Sunday roast which is absolutely delicious and filling. Value for money too! The bakery inside is such a bonus also, for treats to take away.

I came in last week with my family for brunch, staff were very nice and attentive. In particular the waitress with long brown hair (she did tell me her name but i forgot). Food came out within 15 minutes and was amazing! I will definitely be returning soon !

Visited today in recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed! The food was perfect, the cake selection was really impressive and the staff were absolutely lovely, handling a busy atmosphere in such a friendly way! Will definitely be coming again

I have been once before and loved it, so decided to bring friends for Sunday lunch today. Very disappointed and upset with the attitude from staff. A few staff members were lovely but the young slim Asian girl who took our order was almost stand off-ish. I am not sure why. She did not smile a single time, and was impatient taking our order. We had 2 toddlers with us, so some patience is required. We did nothing wrong and she was absolutely miserable throughout taking our order. At one point, my friend had his elbow on a menu that she wanted to pick up, she was stood behind him so he couldn’t see her, and rather than asking him to move his elbow she stood there with a very hostile expression looking at us until we asked him to move his elbow. I was shocked by her mannerism. Similarly, at another point my toddler accidentally dropped a glass, and they made us pay £3 for it which is very unpleasant. I’ve never been to a restaurant before where we’re paying around £116 for food and they make us pay £3 for a glass accidentally broken. When I asked for the glass to please be cleaned up, the female waitress who I asked did not even do that properly so I ended up using baby wipes to ensure none of us cut ourselves on the glass. I did not feel comfortable asking her to wipe the table again as she seemed hostile/fed up again. Not a family friendly experience in my opinion. The male staff member who took our dishes away was nice, and one or two of the girls were too, but a few of the Asian girls were not nice at all, there was a bitchy atmosphere created by them. There was no need for that at all, we are pleasant and nice customers, and they ruined our meal with their passive aggressive attitudes. A real shame because the food was lovely and the decor is very nice too. P.s, I am Asian myself so please do not mistake my honest feedback for any discrimination.

We visited for a girl's brunch. The service provided by Zaynab was amazing - she was very attentive and provided us with take away boxes for a home-made cake which ws very kind! :) the food was really good and the atmosphere was really lovely. We will definitely come back for another visit!

Although the food was excellent and the place looks beautiful. The service is diabolical. The staff are rude and ignorant. We had to go to the counter to order our food, then when this was brought to us, only then were the drink orders taken. Then, no bill was produced, so we paid at the counter. Every time it's the same service

Has the most amazing selection of cakes and they were all really decent sizes. Plenty to eat in the gorgeous bistro or and to take home. I’ll be back. 10/10 !

We always buy from the bakey of wonderlust for birthdays and special events. The owners are lovley. The building is gorgeous and the food from the bistro is wonderful ✔️👍🏻

Absolutely disgusted by the service. Took my wife and sister to this bistro and after waiting few minutes to be seated and a while longer to take our order. The person who took our order was different and after having ordered a meatball sub, chicken Alfredo and CLT burger. My meatball sub didn't arrive and instead a pullmeat one arrived which I told the another new colleague who served the food my order was incorrect I ordered the meatball sub. Which they took away and few minutes later another colleague approached us very rudely and asked what they issue and why we have returned the food twice. Her (Sarah) approach was as disgusting as her appearance towards us, accusing us we had made a mistake on the order and it wasn't their fault. In all honestly I was happy to wait for the food but her approach towards us and demeanour really put me off eating here. My wife and sister continued with their meal and I am currently writing this in the restaurant absolutely appaled at the service this establishment have given. The manager needs to train the staff and the lady in question really needs to look in the mirror. Shocking service for a generally pleasant restaurant.

We've been twice now and will not be returning. Although the food is good the service is terrible, we arrived on time for food we'd been forced to pre-book and after confirming our orders still had to wait half an hour for food. After finishing the main course it took half an hour to clear four plates another half hour for desserts to be served then the bill was all wrong.

Second time visiting today, definitely try the meatball sub it’s phenomenal!! the staff are so kind and welcoming every time and the decor is so lovely. It’s a must visit!

First time going here and l can say I'll definitely be going again, the customer service was friendly and welcoming, even with rude customers they still were professional. The food was good quality and you get a decent portion. And food was flavourful and fresh.

Very nice artwork outside of the building and inside a lot of time has been spent on making it the place it is! Very helpful and attentive staff when it came to ordering. We ordered a platter and another main (forgotten both names 🤦‍♂️) but from memory the items were filling and rich with flavour! We over ordered so did struggle to put a dent on the dishes! The mocktails were refreshing and when it came to paying, was pleasantly surprised to have visited when they had 20% off! Will definitely return to try their Sunday roast!

Came with friends and my friends children, absolutely loved it, got seated after 10/15 mins and honestly have to say hands down the best food I’ve had in a while! Portions were very generous and the atmosphere and service was amazing. The Sunday roast was 10/10 and so was the desserts.

Came for the Sunday roast took like an hour just to bring the food it then waited 30/40 min for the dessert we ordered the same time as the food big fat waste of time the food wasn’t the worst not the best not worth the waiting game.

This place was brilliant! One of the best Sunday roasts I've had. Service was on point and the Sunday roast deal is really worth it. Also, if you want the lamb shank Sunday roast, make sure you prebook it. As they have a limited amount. Says so on their website

The place and food was very nice. We got the C.L.T (on menu) and loaded fries both were delicious. For dessert we got Tiramisu and Kinder Milk cake. The Tiramisu was very nice however the milk cake was a little hard to eat.

Ordered potato and meat corn dog, beef loaded fries and pulled beef sub. Corn dog was ok, Loaded fries were GOOD. Pulled beef sub was served cold. Sent back and when re-done, for us, the rest of the food had been eaten and we were ready to leave. Disappointing. However, curly blonder haired waitress was really sweet and helpful.

Excellent place to come and eat or have coffee and a home made cake. I had the chicken loaded fries. Really good portion size and really well cooked. Quality ingredients and well presented. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

The food here is good but I cannot say the same about the customer service. The waitress serving us was holding a tray of drinks directly above my 1 year olds head and subsequently a bottle of drink tipped all over her head and drenched her hair and clothes. She did apologise but nothing was offered as compensation for this - no discount, or anything on the house, not even a check in from the manager who just watched it unfold from afar and did not approach the table. And the audacity to add service charge to the bill at the end (Which we removed). We've previously been and not been tended to in an empty cafe. We won't be returning again.

After coming here previously and having a good experience I recommended it again for a Sunday Brunch. We waited half hr to be seated which was understandable given it was busy and we hadn’t prebooked, however once seated we were forgotten, the table was broken, had to ask several times for each process. Had been seated and then left. Once we finally asked twice for our order to be taken we then waited for drinks and food. Upon again asking after about half hr about our drinks, apparently there wasn’t anyone available to make drinks so they arrived way after the food when they were supposed to come before. Seemed understaffed and they couldn’t handle it. Food was good but if you want good service then go during the week when it’s quieter. They don’t seem to be able to deal with full house.

Overall a great experience! The food was great, with good sized portions. Great value for a halal option, even up North. The staff are really friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and decor is very lovely, and if the weather is nice, there is an alfresco dining area. There is enough space to fit a pram as well if needed. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

**Review for Wonderlust Bistro** During our recent visit to Wonderlust Bistro, we had an overall pleasant experience with a few notable ups and downs. We had booked a table for 2:45 PM but, despite arriving a little earlier, we were not seated until 3:20 PM. This delay was somewhat frustrating, especially since we could see several empty tables that just needed a quick clean. The staff seemed a bit hectic, which might have contributed to the delay. However, Sarah, who attended to us, was friendly and helpful. Regarding the food, we had mixed experiences: - The chicken dinner was a solid 8/10, flavorful and well-prepared. - The beef dinner was disappointing. It was dry and slightly tough, not matching the appealing photos we had seen on Instagram, as it seemed to be a different cut of beef altogether. We rated it 6/10. - We also ordered an avocado poached egg, but after placing the order, we were informed five minutes later that poached eggs were not available. We had to choose between fried or an scrambled instead. As for the drinks: - The strawberry lemonade was brilliant, a true highlight. - The raspberry lemonade was decent, enjoyable but not exceptional. - The orange juice was underwhelming, lacking freshness and flavor. we opted for the £25 roast offer. we picked the chocolate cake - assuming it would be a big slice of cheese, it was underwhelming, but definitely was nice and moist. Despite the hiccups, we would consider returning to Wonderlust Bistro to give it another chance, hoping for a smoother experience and more consistent quality in the dishes.

A very beautifully decorated restaurant. The experience was quote nice. The music was a little loud and the neighbours of our table had to speak loudly because the music was quite loud..this meant we could not talk properly on our table. Food was okay. I ordered the full English and my friend had the vegetarian breakfast. It was nice but I will try something else next time as I have had tastier English breakfasts. The staff was kind enough to swap the option of bread to sourdough. There were too many tomatoes on the plate for my liking. I would have liked more mushroom or another hash brown instead so if I did ever get breakfast again will consider asking fir that. The mock tail again was just ok. Flavour was a bit diluted as too much ice not enough syrup. We did have to keep calling the staff and at the end were considering a coffee and cake but then it took too long so we just paid our bill and left. The decor is very nice and so instagramable for those who are in to that. I will next time just think about a sandwich or coffee and cake. I must say the toilets are done very nicely and are clean too..always nice to visit a clean toilet. Overall I will visit again but I think my expectations were a bit different from the food and experience point of view.

Recently went and had lunch for the second time. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing and after speaking to staff the bread is made in house daily. took some cakes home from the display and they were great they had a wide variety of choice but I took the Oreo Matilda cake which was so big I had to eat it in 3 sittings. And the kinder brownie was spot on, fudgy and gooey and topped off with kinder bueno

Had a lovely breakfast. It took us a while to be seated but I think they were short staffed. Once seated though we were served quickly and the food wasn't too far behind. Good quality and good veggie options. Not that many veggie options for the afternoon menu though.

Took my daughter here today seeing as it’s her 30th Birthday month. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table (which we prebooked as I drove over from Liverpool) menus were presented to us and we selected our drinks….daughter chose an Iced Latte and I had a Candy Floss Mocktail, very nice. Our food order was a Mozzarella Corndog, a Beef Corndog and Crispy Chicken Loaded Fries ❤️❤️❤️ delish! We also took home some Kinda Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake and a massive slab of Matilda Cake for the husband who stayed in Liverpool because of work. Overall, very nice, pleasant service and lovely atmosphere ❤️ Eid Murbarak to you all

Ordered full English and it was below average-cheap supermarket toast and sausages! prices similar to central Manchester/high end competitors but unfortunately food was not the same level. Really cute place. Came on my birthday and the server (i did not get his name) was an absolute delight. He was sweet and funny and extremely patient with us. he ‘booked the place out for us 🤭’. Lovely staff to converse with and very helpful also. Deffo coming again!!

I finally got the chance to come to wonderlust - the food and service was incredible. I made a booking and was running late but they kept the table. I had the French toast and my friend got pancakes. The portions were so generous and big. We had enough to bring home. Many other customers had customer Sunday lunch which looked incredible. But the sweet treats were just a fab. I would recommend to anyone. We had such a lovely afternoon and I’ll be back soon!

Went for the first time today. What a delightful place! The exterior is lovely, with a beautiful mural stretching all around the building. I spotted that they are growing some fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs outside, which I think is a fantastic concept. There’s lots of outdoor seating with a cute wooden canopy in the corner. Inside is very aesthetically pleasing and cosy, with friendly staff who were very accommodating and quick with serving our food. The food was very tasty with good portion sizes (I really enjoyed their peach lemonade!) Overall, a charming place and great to have this in Oldham. I would love to go again!

Fancy place, nice outdoor seating if the weather is good. Abit pricey and breakfast menu options are pretty small. The food was average. The omelette was the worst item from everything we ordered. Tea was served super early and it was cold by the time our breakfast actually got served. Place opens at 10am we arrived at 9.45. they could have given us a table and taken our order at 10 if it was that much of an issue. We had kids with us and had to wait outside like lemons.

What a gem in Oldham ! Clean,bright,beautiful decor , We all had breakfasts, it was good quality food ,well presented, spoilt for choice . Will visit again ,service was good but we would have preference to have our hot drinks with the food and not before but next time we will request that

The interior and environment was so cute. The staff were really friendly and lovely. We got served by a woman called Rachel I believe and she was very attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend.

This has become my go to in Oldham. The food, environment and service is what every establishment should aspire for. It's top quality and a hidden gem in Oldham. I've tried both lunch and breakfast menu and even the Ramadan special. Amazing each time. You really can't go wrong I find myself coming here very regularly, so much so the staff recognise me haha. Great decor inside and out. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Ordered full English breakfast , all fresh , hot, portion size spot on and ultimately very tasty. The Pistachio cream dessert and "Matilda cake" were beyond words and the selection on choice was amazing. Waited for at least 6 months to visit , was worth the wait and want come back sooner. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Firstly, it is a lovely place for aesthetics. The food however, was awful. Been here two times to see if there would be any improvements but there’s none. Staff are rude and nonchalant. You are at a customer facing role. You must be friendly enough to take an order. All of them avoid eye contact/ pretend to not hear you. Also there’s one girl who keeps rolling her eyes when she makes a mistake. Very hostile energy. Please train your staff to be more hospitable.

The decor and atmosphere are lovely and the music was great, so it's a good place to relax and enjoy your visit. I went for the sweet treats and although I expected a wider selection of cakes, pastries and sweet delights, however; overall it was an enjoyable visit.

Went for the first time today and would definitely go again. Food came right on time for ifthar and was definitely filling, portion size was big so had to take a lot home. Service was friendly and the dessert selection was divine. Thank you for a great ifthar wanderlust, will definitely come again

Service is awful. Management is clearly poor as the staff are doing everything and anything but seating the customers and giving their food in a timely manner. Waited 30 mins for a table and majority of the tables were free. Asked 2 waitresses about this and they both gave rude answers. Ordered desserts which were ready made and on display but it took 20 minutes to plate up and come out? There wasn’t a lot of customers to even serve. Not only that the food tastes absolutely bland / no salt - the katsu and the corndog. Don’t bother coming here.

If I could give this place 0/5 I would. I really wanted to love this beautiful place in the heart of oldham. Have visited twice, the second time yesterday and the service was atrocious. Waited 30 minutes just to get a table (lots of visible empty tables) and waited another 15 mins for the ready made desserts…concerning. Your staff seem unhappy and like they don’t want to be there. This gets projected onto your customers as they seem rude but are probably overstretched and underpaid. They end up doing many tasks and so struggle to complete a SINGLE task whether its cleaning a table or taking an order. Dear management, listen to the bad reviews and take constructive criticism. Delegate your staff to roles and stick with them, I am not the only one that feels this way. Learn from other businesses that are more successful and have better customer satisfaction. Please season your food. The katsu curry and potato corn dog were abysmal. Tastes like a freezer ready meal. Atrocious. Please do not gaslight me by replying to this saying ‘we don’t get many bad reviews’ or ‘I am sorry you felt that way’ whats bad is bad and whats good is good. Its a very aesthetically pleasing place however the bread and butter of your place is your customer service and the food which are both shocking to say the least. All the best

The staff seemed friendly, but there was a negative atmosphere due to the unfriendly demeanor of the main manager, resulting in unhappy staff. Additionally, the food quality was subpar and the prices were excessively high.

Thank you for having us, we really enjoyed the overall experience. The luxury hot chocolate (kinder flavour) with fluffy marshmallow was unreal! And so was the Philly cheesesteak! Nice brunch spot for catchups and chats. Very nice atmosphere, we will be back soon.

Wonderlust is the outstanding place to keep roaming yourself with food. The test of food is amazing.

We went for the Sunday roast & it was quite good. Good portion size & good amount of flavours! The chicken naga loaded fries were the highlight. Make sure you book on Sunday before hand otherwise you will be waiting 30minutes to be seated. Cons: The only negative thing about this place, was the waitresses seemed like they really did not want to be working, the service was terrible. They avoid eye contact and rush away so that no one calls them over & when you do call them over they seem soo bothered.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Wonderlust bistro. We didn't expect the unique selection of bakes that are available. We got the Matilda cake which was really nice and not sickly or overly sweet at all. I would recommend the Naga chicken loaded fries they were delicious. We weren't too keen on the chicken burger but the beef sliders were really tasty as was the Korean potato and cheese dog. The selection of drinks was impressive and we all loved our drinks! Bathroom was clean and very aesthetic. Prices here were a little deer but this wouldn't stop me from returning as the service was great too!

Went here to try some food, they give big good portions however my wife ordered the Caesar salad which we think came with anchovies, anyway this wasn’t mentioned in the menu which led her to not really eat it I think it’s a good idea to have such ingredients with strong flavour mentioned in the menu. I will come again but next time maybe for desserts and drinks. But nice cosy place

Went for lunch midweek the place looked nice and clean not too busy ordered the Korean noodles which had to much sweet and sour sauce for my liking. On the way out gotcsome bakery stuff which was very nice.

Very disappointed with this place. We went for the Sunday Roast and it was awful. Food - The sirloin beef smelled strongly of raw meat as soon as the plate was put down in front of you. We specifically asked for no blood — our plates were covered in blood. Cheap steak that did not smell fresh. The chicken barely looked cooked. It had no taste as it had no seasoning. The beef just stank of a Butchers counter. Roasties were on point though, as were the carrot and parsnips. Gravy was just granules. Dessert - The desserts were great. The pistachio brests were good as were the brownies. Would probably go back for desserts. Service - Great service. No complaints. Our bill came to £120 for 4 people and regretfully we really did not enjoy the brunch menu at all. Doesn’t help that on Sundays they only serve the roast menu!
