Yaaze Bistro Cafe And Meze Bar in Hastings

Lovely lunch with work colleagues. Had the Mediterranean 2, and it was enormous ! Beautifully presented, fresh and so tasty. Too much for me , and rather than waste it, I brought it home for my tea, so double treat! I also took away a cheeky baklava, but it was difficult to choose from the many delights, beautifully presented on the counter. Staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the venue is ideal, just on the seafront but short walk from town centre if you’re shopping. They are also open for breakfast at weekends!

Delicious food, great veggie/vegan options, lovely sea views. Service was excellent. Recommend the halloumi burger 😊

Ate here today for my mum's birthday. Very friendly staff, and the food was incredible. Couldn't fault it. I loved every bite and will be telling everyone how lovely it was. Had a great time and it felt very welcoming and homely.

We had dinner here on Friday night and were really pleased. The food was amazing. The only issue was there was too much chicken!! So a good problem. Amazing flavours. Went back for the breakfast which was very good also. Highly recommend

What an absolute gem. Delicious food and big portions. We had a meze to share between 5 and there were plenty to go round. Everyone in our party was very happy with their food. I took the rest of mine home and had it for lunch the next day. We will be back.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly; They took care of every detail and made us feel special. The food was beyond our expectations; Each plate was presented with care and was quite impressive in terms of taste. We would definitely like to come again! I can say with confidence that it is one of the best restaurants in the city. I recommend!

Popped in for lunch after a chilly walk along the seafront with my husband and our dog. The staff were very accommodating to us, bringing a dog, finding a table where he wouldn't be in the way and they had 'doggy sausage' on the menu which of course we ordered. Food menu was varied but we chose the mezze to share to start and then I had a halloumi meal from the special dishes, my husband had chicken. All the food was delicious and generous portions. Would definitely go back next time we visit.

A delicious, healthy traditional brunch with great views and brilliant service. One can see why they’ve been so highly rated. Music was chill and at a perfect volume to relax.

We have been meaning to go for a while and although Hastings is not our choice of location, this was well worth the visit. A really tasty Vegan breakfast, the children thoroughly enjoyed the chips and Vegan sausages and the service certainly had a smile. Very, very impressed and will definitely be back. I'm not surprised it was super busy, see you again.

Was and remains the most delicious place in Hastings. I recommend trying the baba ganoush and kofte burger. It's very tasty.

Very welcoming people. Food was amazing. I had the lamb meatballs kofta with chips and salad. Very generous portions and everything so fresh and tasty. We also tried the Turkish delight, which was delightful and don't start me on the baklava 😋There were 4 of us and all were impressed. It can get busy, so good idea to book. They're also more than happy to provide a box for a doggy bag.

Nice little bistro right on the sea front. It's nicely decorated and the deli counter looked amazing. I felt like the kids meals were disproportionately big and not great quality for the price. The meze was a bit hit or miss, parts were absolutely delicious and others were not great actually. I was rather hoping for an authentic meze, but the seafood parts were just fried and not really that flavourful. The halloumi, butterfly prawns and tabbouleh went down really well. I'd probably go back, order less and not try to feed the kids there.

At first impression a lot of things seem to be homemade, but there is a lot of convenience involved. You order scampi for £16 and get breaded pieces from the chest. The salad has no dressing. I have no idea how this newspaper article came about that praises the restaurant so much.

Took too long to serve and put food to table, while the stuffs hangs and not moving. Eggs on toast is too soggy, is it just because enable to use smaller plates?

I had a really nice light meal here with my friend a few weeks ago. We ordered some pittas, babaganoush and olives. Everything was perfect: delicious food in a calm and friendly atmosphere. I loved the thought that was put into setting the tables.

It was a lovely surprise in Hastings to find this nice coffee/bistro. People were very welcoming, and the service was extremely fast. We order a few dishes and smoothies, all delicious. I recommend it 👌

We tried Yaaze after seeing that it is always busy , which is usually a good sign & liked that it looked unpretentious & honest and reading a local paper review that is one of the best resturants in East Sussex which they proudly display outside. Well we were not disappointed the food was really very good, lots of tasty mezze dishes which are great to share. Great service & relaxed atmosphere & environment and this was on a Monday when most other places are shut. A little gem of a restaurant

Price range was high and not aligned with the quality of food that has been given. Lamb was really dried and had to chew very long time (not good for the elderly). Average service as we waited for awhile for the waiter for the bills or even refilling the water. Good thing about here was the portion was big, nearly the beach and I’m not sure how this is one of the best restaurants in East Sussex cuz the dry lamb defo not worth it and it costed 23pound …

Exceptional food, we had the mezes and every dish was balanced to perfection. There was a great range to choose from catering for all types of dietary needs. My friend's family has visited this place several times, and it never disappoints. The food was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. Both the service and the food were timely. The staff regularly checked if we needed anything. The atmosphere was fantastic.

Very cosy and nice cafe. Friendly staff and incredibly tasty cuisine. Even when you look at the windscreen, you already have the desire to eat something. My favourite was the Greek salad. This is the most delicious salad I had in England. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful cafe.

I don’t mind, this can happened to anyone and it’s not such a big deal. We got our food (which was fantastic!) and on one of plates was dirty spoon from coffee. Which is disgusting. I was gonna tell the waitress when she comes to check our food ( which is expected in hospitality). The waitress didn’t come. She came when we finished our food and asked if was everything ok. I said food was delicious, but we got dirty spoon from coffee. I expected an apologize, discount, offer of some drink or at least little baklava to share to say sorry. Nothing happened here! Nothing. But what really upset me was this: She repeated: “From coffee?’’ Turned around and left. She didn’t believe me!!!!!!! My partner paid and gave her a tip ( which I hope the chef will get). I love this place and take my family and friends here for amazing breakfast and mezze. I write this review, because I do believe feedback from customers can help businesses to flourish and get better.

Complete spare of the moment visit... Food was fantastic... Portions were more than adequate for me and partner... Staff were very attentive (the chef even checked in with everyone in the restaurant as he finished to make sure everything was ok)... Pricing is very reasonable... Would definitely go back again and recommend to friends / family

What an amazing place and a great location. We went in for a full English breakfast and some Turkish specialties and we were not disappointed. Cleanliness: Very clean and attention to detail in both kitchen and eating are was maintained, they covered up the cold dishes on display Service: Very efficient, sweet and polite. It reminds me of the little eateries we used to frequent in Turkey back in the day. Food: Generous portions and good selection. The poached eggs on the toast was a nice change from the usual scrambled. Sausage and bacon cooked without being wrinkly and good seasoning on the mushrooms and hash browns. I recommend for drink their green power smoothie or fresh mint tea. Price and quality were a good match.

This resturant is the best resturant in Hastings, friendly staff amazing food cooked fresh by an amazing chef that is kind and caring. I had a spot right by the window and I could see the beautiful sea side with the sunshine out. The staff always make sure everything is perfect and will make sure you’re happy with everything. The atmosphere is astonishing with lovely calm music and it’s dog friendly! Definitely will be visiting again I want to try everthing on the menu😍

Lovely atmosphere and great food. Very adequate portion sizes, staff were very friendly and catering. We had a lovely evening with a view of the sun setting over the beach enjoying tasty food and drinks.

I ordered the marinated lamb, I received ten chunks of dried up meat with pitta bread, salad, and chips. As a lunchtime catch up with friends I felt it would put a dampner on the occasion if I sent the food back. However I must express how disappointed I was with the whole experience.

Amazing. Stopped for lunchtime snack. I had mushroom with cheese on toast and hubby 3 egg omelet and salad. It was gorgeous. Great portion size, totally fresh. The staff are very attentive abd service is excellent .
