I had the take away fish & chips tonight & I must say that these are the best fish & chips I have had for a very long time! Generally this pub is absolutely brilliant as a local pub & I am so glad I live nearby. Thank you Simeon & Katyie!

Booked an evening meal whilst staying in log cabin near by. Large portions of home cooked food, quick service and friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced, in fact we were surprised and were expecting to pay more for the quality. The decor is lovely as well, quite cozy on an autumn evening. Will definitely return next time we are in the area

We paid our first visit this week to this lovely old pub on the edge of Hereford city centre and were not disappointed. We were rewarded for our choice of dinner with the most amazing steak & ale pies we’ve ever tasted. The size of the pies caught us out as having ordered them with chips, veg and gravy they proved to be a challenge to finish. The flavour was superb and the meals were served piping hot. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth a visit if you have a healthy appetite, if you don’t just have the pies with gravy only. Tremendous!

Superb food. We had the whitebat and paté to start and the home made pies with extra veg for main. It was well cooked and very polite service. No squiggles on the plates and no pretentious offerings with french descriptions on the menu. We have used the New Inn many times and will certainly continue going there!

We have just arrived home after two weeks holiday staying near Bosbury. We went in numerous pubs in the area and this was the best by far. Very welcoming landlord and the ladies behind the bar also made you feel really welcome asking about your day and remembered your drink order everytime we went back. We did not eat here but we noticed that the tables were all reserved. We are travelling back down to Bosbury again next year and we will definitely be paying this pub a visit or two!
