My husband and I went tonight for the bottomless belt where you can eat as much as you like for an hour. We were first timers but had studied the menu beforehand. We felt there was plenty of choice and especially liked the veggie tacos. After a while a few desserts came round on the belt, which were also lovely. The staff were very helpful and made some items on request. We were full before the hour was up but had both eaten more than the cost of the meal. Would eat here again.

Not very unimpressed with the lack of interest or attentiveness of the waiting staff. The place was not busy, yet it was still an effort to get staff attention. (We did speak with the chef when he handed over our food, he was nice and helpful). A new experience for me, so I did ask a few questions about some of the food items on the menu, there just seemed to be a lack of interest. We were there for the food, which I have to say was reasonably good. But at the price, and the expected 10% staff tip, you expect to be treated well. Especially if they want you to return. We won’t be.

The food was great. I would definitely recommend the cucumber salmon or avocado maci for people trying sushi for the time. Tables were slightly dirty but nothing terrible. The staff were lovely and extremely kind they were just a bit all over the place. The boothes were slightly sticky but most likely disinfectant. I will definitely be back soon, evie xxx

Ordered Yo signature roll for delivery and it turned out to be absolutely different to the photo they displayed. Almost no masago on top which is ridiculous already as it adds so much to the taste of this roll, but it wasn’t just that. The salmon and avocado were not fresh (you can tell by the darker colour and dark marks on avo). Such a shame, I was craving it all day and that’s how it ended.

Head up for the larger crowd, you will need the large group booth or the bar to sit at. Once you are sat and setup though it's lovely, order drinks with the staff then you can order anything you want via QR code on your table number plague or with the staff, or pick items off the belt as they tootle past. Had a selection of items from the menu, all amazing first time eating in with Yo! Harrogate, had take away a couple of times. Meal items:Mighty Duck fries, chicken katsu curry, Japanese fried chicken, chicken gyozu and a couple of items off the belt, finsihing with a domyaki (pancake) Myself and my Mrs were extremely happy with the meal, fantastic place. Good service, chilled atmosphere (fairly quiet when we visited) and amazing food. Definatly recommend!

It’s cute and convenient with helpful staff but the sushi is not very high grade and is actually rather pricey for what you get in the end. You grab sushi plates off a conveyor belt that are individually cheap (3-7 GBP) but also tiny. If you really want dinner they add up (almost like sushi tapas).

The porti sizes are in my opinion the best from the different YOs I've been to and its even better that no matter where you sit you can see the food being prepared. Honestly my favorite go to 👌

It was empty, we were the only ones there for most of the time and you could hear the staff trash talking each other. The food was very average and was not freshly prepared as you were sitting next to the assembly area. The annoying 7.5% service charge that seemed to break the app and payment only worked if you included it. Pretty average all round and overpriced.

Went in and ordered food, with the kids eat free deal, was told they’d take the full amount out of my bank and then refund the kids meals, never heard of anything like it but decide to trust them, got home and they had not refunded the money then was told it would take 1/2 hours then was told it would take 24 hours then on the third time of ringing up 3 days later was told it would take 5 working days and was rudely hung up on I wouldn’t of minded but the food was disgusting over priced and cold please anyone avoid this place at all costs

The food wasn't awful, that's the only compliment I can give. The tables were dirty, we were given dirty dishes to eat from (actually rank), the doors to the toilets are literally falling off, the staff were all extremely immature and although when speaking to customer they were well mannered, I didn't want to listen to them swearing all meal and I'm sure the table with children didn't either. A really poor experience, wouldn't ever go back - not sure why anyone would choose to eat here when there are so many other decent restaurants nearby.

Disgusting customer service which is a shame because the food is ok. We ordered on just eat and food was missing from the order. We then called to let them know to be informed we can only apply for a refund from just eat which takes seven days and would have to reorder and pay again. They refused to send out the missing food or make any effort to apologise and make things right! They were already aware that they had put the sashimi in the wrong bag and simply said "we do make mistakes". Surely if you have made a mistake it is only right to try and rectify the situation. Truly terrible! Topped off by the manager hanging up the phone! Also seem to have been blocked on just eat. Inept and rude! That is all.

Yo sushi has gone very much downhill since we last visited about a year ago. There isn't any 'service' so not sure why it automatically adds on a service charge for you as it's all done through an app which makes you pay there and then. We added wasabi onto our order and it never arrived. Won't be back again.

The quality of the food has gone downhill over the last couple of years. Guessing it’s a change with the supplier as the food isn’t half as good as it was years ago! It’s a shame because it used to be my favourite place to eat but the price increase and quality decrease has put me off going in to eat. It’s only worth grabbing on too good to go

Unsure what happened this time, but the food was not up to the usual high standard of yo sushi we've come to love from the harrogate branch. The mushroom ramen has the spices still in the serving, meant every mouth full I had to keep sifting out spices. The dynamite rolls were chaos, at first unsure whether they were the correct rolls as the topping were a mess. Think we're going to leave ordering from yo sushi again for a bit, which is a real shame.

The food was amazing as always, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and the chefs were friendly and talkative despite being busy prepping for a pretty full restaurant. Shame the serving staff let the meal down. Had issues with payments that weren’t able to resolved and had food go cold as a result of a member of staff who kept avoiding us when we had an issue with our order, yet they had time to talk to other guests and clean tables despite no one waiting for a table and there being two other members of staff stood around doing nothing. The waitresses stand out of the way avoiding eye contact with customers so it’s near impossible to get any help if you need anything. The food is 5 stars but the service is 1 star, if that.

I'd never even to Yo Sushi before, didn't even really like sushi but I thought we give it a go. For someone thats never been the way it's ran is quite strange, you order on the app and it comes to you on a conveyor belt, it was fun! The chefs at the kitchen are really friendly and helpful as we had quite a few questions. We spent upwards of £50 on just two of us, we did eat like royalty but it was just so delicious! It's definitely a little pricier than buying sushi at other places but I think it's worth the treat. The only thing that let it down was one of the servers was quite rude to us, and for a place so busy and seeing all the other staff working hard and cleaning etc but then seeing her just stand around or just sit there doing nothing was a shame to see. The only time she did anything was when she sat down at a table to eat herself.

Hmm yeah, not great. Haven’t been to a Yo! Sushi for years but this wasn’t as good/average as I remember. The maki were ok but everything else was a bit meh. The katsu wasn’t very nice. The Yo fries were awful. The Korean fried chicken (nuggets) were pretty bland and didn’t taste authentic. Overall a shoddy meal. Also the wifi was a nightmare to get on to, and as they try to make you order online (and given there’s no mobile signal) it was annoying from the outset.

Came to pick up an online order. Served by Kate, very possibly the worst service by anyone ever. Couldn’t even talk to me, was on her phone whilst the food was being prepared as I was early which is totally fine, but would have been nice to know it was still being prepared as I was left standing and confused without even a word being said to me. Not even a Thankyou or goodbye at the end. Embarrassing to say the least! Thanks for nothing Kate.

Was met by a waitress who didn't appear to be able to talk. Just glared at us and we had to prompt the conversation. She then mumbled something we couldn't hear. Took us to our seats that had food all over them (obviously not been cleaned, not very covid safe!). Mumbled something else about an app and QR code. That was as far as the customer service went. There was no more customer service. Worked out how to do the app which was fine. A very clinical experience that was over quickly and left us a bit cold. Sat opposite the chef who avoided eye contact at all costs. Tried to make eye contact to say thanks, but no one to say thanks to so just left. Weird. Food was ok, but no salt on the Edamame beans.

Takeaway is more of a precedent than the customers in the restaurant. Had to ask for cutlery, remind twice for food items, including a child's food choice, that had been forgotten off our order. Ignored by staff as they had so many takeaway drivers to contend with. Very disappointing family meal

As English as it can be, Katsu curry does not taste anything like Japanese curry at all and the meal comes with fries but not miso soup or something instead... Whatever this cuisine is, it isn't Japanese or Asian. Also very overpriced for a very smal portion, added extra £3.5 for large size but looked literally a kid's menu size.

Don't know why others are calling this Covid safe. We were shown to seats at a long narrow table at the back, sat directly opposite strangers on the same table (no more than a metre away). When I asked if that wasn't a transmission risk, the waitress rolled her eyes and said they have to seat people somewhere. We said we'd prefer to leave and she rolled her eyes again. We went to Zizzi across the road which had much better Covid policies around seating and space (Currently around 130 people are dying every single day from Covid; obviously if you're reading this after the pandemic please disregard the review!)

Delicious food. Some of the "fun" of Yo! has gone since they introduced the new system (presumably due to COVID). Instead of helping yourself to food on a conveyor belt, you order via a QR code. But the food is still tasty, the staff are still attentive, no complaints.

This is by far the worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. The reminder email advertises early book in (11:00) for £10, but only on arrival. When we arrived, we were told this was not the case and we had to wait until 3pm, but should go do something else whilst waiting. As we only had just over an hour to wait, we decided to stay in the foyer as the restaurant/bar was out of use and there is very little in the area (except for a train station). The elevator was also out of use, which listening to other visitors was quite a big problem although did not really affect us directly. The Premier Plus room that other members of my family had stayed in, had no heating and very mild hot water, not suitable for a shower. This was "rectified" by giving them an oil radiator. The quad room that I stayed in was not suitable for the number of beds that were required to sleep the 4 of us, with furniture having to be removed to make way for the beds. Despite the TV having Freeview, there were no channels other than the basic 5. Breakfast was served in the (most of the time closed) restaurant, and whilst the continental breakfast was buffet style, the hot breakfast was ordered at the table, and then your menus taken away (so make sure you order enough the first time). The hot breakfast took quite a while to come, which worked out in our favour as the hotel contains the worlds most inefficient toaster. But I was later informed by party members that the wait for breakfast had reach an hour. Checkout was fairly straight forwards, as there was no one around. Safe to say, I will not be returning and would advise readers to consider alternatives.
