Yum Yum Thai in Bath and North East Somerset

I ordered takeaway shrimp noodles ,there was only 3 shrimps and didn’t have much taste ! My husband ordered green curry which didn’t have much chicken !We used to get takeaway from here ,never do it again ! The proportion of the food is not right for the price you pay ! The reviews could confuse customers ..

Really good value, huge portion of duck which was cooked really well. Would visit again!

The problem is that the price has rocketed and the food that this the meat was not good fatty and a cheap cut .it was not as good as it was

First time I have ever had Thai food. This was smashing. Staff are wonderful and Bew was very helpfull and attentive. She even took the time to teach us some Thai. Really looking forward to coming back

I used to get take aways often from this place, recently had food again after while, I ordered fried noodle for lunch, it was very expensive (£15 for vegetarian noodle!) and the portion was very small too. Definitely not worth the price. I done think I go back there again.

We were served by Preme at Yum Yum Thai Bath. Her service was top notch as she served as water while being prompt with getting our food order. I personally liked my beef fried rice and tom yum soup. The noodles i.e. bee hoon was not that well received. Overall, I support their win of the best traveller top choice restaurant award and I would come back here again. Finally, when we received our bill, it was pleasant that there was no VAT unlike another restaurant in Bath that started with the alphabet C.

My favourite Thai food in the UK. It is extremely tidy and the food is excellent, I highy recommend the pineapple fried rice!

Always a pleasure to visit here. The food choice is good. The service is swift. The atmosphere can be very noisy when it's full.

The food here was absolutely delicious and felt so authentic! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and you could really taste the care in the preparation. Next time, I wish we had been more adventurous and tried the dishes with rice, but we played it safe with noodles just in case I didn’t like it. The noodles were great, but I have a feeling the rice dishes would’ve been just as amazing. Definitely coming back to explore the full menu!

There seem to be a lot of Thai restaurants in Bath for some reason. Originally we were going to go to Thaikhun, because we are familiar with what they offer and the quality of the food, but in the end we thought we’d give a small, local restaurant a try instead of a chain. I only read the first few reviews, so perhaps that was my mistake, but the food here certainly isn’t anywhere near 5 star or what I would call ‘authentic’. That said, it wasn’t bad by any means, the service was good and the atmosphere was alright. The food had flavour, but was lacking that certain something that would elevate it above average. Would we go here again? Probably not, especially with so much competition in the area.

The best authentic thai food in Bath. Real tastes like you eat in Thailand. A must crispy pork basil stir fry very hot and spicy best combine with Chang’s beer.

Feel like home!! I am from Thailand and I feel it is very difficult to find a restaurant that cooks authentic Thai. This noodle dish (Kuay Tiew Kia Gai) is my love at first bite for this visit. The staff’s are friendly and the service is excellent. They also have selection of Thai drinks on the menu as well, e.g. Thai ice tea, etc.

Fast service, tasty food & nice sized portions we went for the Prawn pad Thai. Spices and nuts were on the side of the dish which we liked I like that they pour you water straight away when you sit down. Could describe it as no frills but hit the spot for what we were looking for.

Authentic Thai restaurant. Happy to find Thai’s raw prawns and green papaya salad here. They keep Thai’s language menu which included more traditional Thai food. Amazing food and drinks. Friendly and attentive Service but not charge you any complimentary service charge. Definitely will come back for other dishes. Highly recommended.

I recently tried Khao Kra Paw Mo Krob, and it was fantastic! The crispy belly pork was incredibly crunchy and delicious. My friend mentioned that Khao Man Gai here is also a must-try, but unfortunately, it’s only available on Tuesdays. I’ll definitely plan my next visit to sample that dish! Overall, it was a great experience—the service was friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Incredible food and amazing service!! Dishes were amazing and service was quick and efficient, will come again!! The sickness delicious my husband confirmed, my tofu vegetable stir fry in soy sauce was so tasty, the spring rolls were delicious and we had a wonderful evening dining here.

Of course we were so hungry when we finally made it to a restaurant that sounded good and that our wheelchair ramp could get us into. And we weren't disappointed! Great flavors, crisp veggies, great rice and meat all combined to make a great meal for our little band of travelers.

As soon as we turned up we were told that they close in 1 hour. They seemed in a hurry to get us in and then get us out. The food was good, the restaurant was pretty empty, but it was 9 pm, so by bath standards, I guess that's late. I swear I ordered chicken but got beef. 😀 Update 09.11.24 - These lazy so and so's close up, shut down, and lock their doors at 9 pm. Their door says they close at 10 pm and they close at 9 pm. Save your money, as there are better places in Bath that you can go to, to be insulted.

Nice and quiet. Delicious food. No pad Thai but what we did get was amazing.

A lovely outside spot for lunch! My friend and I love Thai food and we were not disappointed. Great service and amazing flavours. They have lunch time deals which are reasonably priced. They also have a nicely decorated inside, which I imagine would be great for dinner!

If you are vegeterian , please donot , never attend this restaurant. There carrot in curry was not fresh at all . And you know what there vegeterian fried rice has no vegetables 😅. I am very disappointed

Sat down easy enough. Ordered spring rolls and main course, which came out all at once. Spring rolls cold in centre shoudlnt have rushed it ...returned..no apology..are they frozen? Certainly cold enough to be. They returned subsequently at nuclear temp. Decent enough white at 7.5 a glass it ought to be. The main course was okay, lots of flavours, the rice a touch dry. Satisfactory but down points for the during rolls. Better than this round here if you know where to look.

Great food as usual, no frills but excellent value. We always can rely on this place foa great tasting meal with fast, polite service at good value. A lot better than some other Thai places we have tried in Bath.

This place looks a bit unexciting from the outside but it is a nice atmosphere inside , especially in the back rooms. We have eaten here several times recently and really enjoyed the food. Service is fast and efficient . The food seems to be good quality. Chicken is always tender. Certainly worth a try if you like Thai food.

I don’t really care too much about the atmosphere because I can overlook that if the food is good. I got noodles with tofu. It was not horrible but it was not great either. The reviews confuse me. The service was good and friendly though.

Came here on a Sunday night and was totally misled by the google reviews. There is no way the food here is five star, let alone four star. I finished my meal, and so far it hasn’t made me ill, which earns a two star rating in my system. You think if you’re advertising a new special (pork and rice) it would be worthy of a strong review. Not the case. The pork was tender but the sauce was bland and the rice was too moist. The soup was just salted water with a few scallions floating in it. The veggie spring rolls (ordered as an appetizer) were small and mostly devoid of anything inside the fried wrapper. Service was OK (friendly but nothing much more than the basics) and the space is suitable for this type of restaurant. Should have gone elsewhere.

Unfornutaly I got an expensive salad with dry cucumbers, cheap lettuce and huge chunks of onions with a not fitting sauce. At least they were friendly and provided Service. Not to recommend :(

Unprecedentedly unpalatable! If I hadn't been to Thailand twice, I would have been deceived by these Thai-speaking waiters. I couldn't feel the sincerity at all. As Thais, do you really eat this kind of rubbish Tom Yum Goong? Is it just sugar and vinegar mixed together? The price is still so high! The waiter suggested that I order Tom Yum Goong with egg noodles, which really disgusted me! Apart from that, the fried rice noodles are okay, which can be said to have nothing to do with Thai food, but at least it's not unpalatable. Overall, this Thai restaurant is not recommended! It's a pure scam! The Thailand milk tea also is fake! !

We ordered Green curry with chicken, Prawn pad thai, and thai milk tea. Pad thai wasn't my favourite but it tastes good here, I even ordered takeaway for my friend. Everything was slightly above average. Would recommend to come here if you are finding food in Bath.

When I eat it, the somtam is plentiful and delicious. The rice noodle noodles are not regular noodles, but very thin noodles. The soup is okay, but you may not like the meatball-like meat and Cheonyeop, and my husband said it was delicious. I like beef noodles overall, but it smells a bit like meat.

Visiting Bath found a great review on tripadvisor for yum yum booked table . It was fantastic great food friendly staff will be back before the end of are holiday worth a visit.

Finished work late and hungry Had the chicken and rice with a cold Singha beer… Absolutely delicious reminded me of sitting on the road in sunny Thailand! I am sure I shall return to try some of the other delights 😎😎

Overall a good dining experience had here. The service was somewhat staggered as more and more people sat to eat in. If you’re in a rush, perhaps avoid during busy times. Could very well have been a one-off, as we lunched on a weekday. Place was simple clean and welcome. I overheard it is well established, so will say they’ve maintained it well. Food was good. I would return but not in a hurry. Bath has a lot of choice.

Tastes good 👍 However, the service attitude of the clerk was average. There were only a few customers at the lunch table on Wednesday, but the clerk seemed to be chasing customers and wanted to drive them away after finishing the meal. Wouldn't go again if there were other options.

I'm not a huge fan of thai food but the thai food here was amazing. Definitely eat family style here.

What a great place this is! The food is amazing and served by such lovely people. We were here on a very busy Saturday night but the smiles never left the faces of the waitresses. Very good value and a great atmosphere.

All in our party found the food to be excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and welcoming and the staff were polite and attentive and very professional. It was also warm and cozy unlike one or two other establishments visited in Bath this weekend!

We cannot understand the high ratings of this place. The food is obviously microwaved. The service is like a conveyor belt so it would be impossible to cook fresh. We had just begun our starter and the main courses came out and dumped so quickly we had no time to hand them back. Luckily the food was more of a soup than a curry and it had been heated enough to melt a spoon. Very poor and expensive.

Our "go to" eatery for a great meal in town. Service always great, staff friendly and efficient....oh and the food...👌👌👍👍
