Zara Turkish Restaurant in Wellingborough

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant too. We have takeaways from here most weekends so it was lovely to actually eat in the restaurant! Will definitely be coming back.

Great table service and amazing food. Would highly recommend seabass fish nice and tender, also recommend chicken adana wrap with chilli and garlic sauce greatly seasoned and very tender, overall worth it in every visit every time.

The lamps here really caught my eye here and gave a warm feeling , it was my first time eating here and the chicken was cooked to perfection , the bread served under the chicken was perfectly moist and seasoned well. overall i really loved my experience here I strongly recommend this restuarant

We are really disappointed, after using Zara as our go to Turkish for many years now we have never had a bad meal. Tonight it took an hour and a half to deliver, had to call the restaurant to see where it was, arrived freezing cold and soggy, chips are not the same as they used to be and were hard and undercooked, the Adana kebab tasted absolutely rank which I spat back out, the sucuk didn't taste as normal and the chicken shish was not great. After spending over £50 it is extremely disappointing and we won't be returning customers anymore sadly.

Having visited numerous times, the food has always been superb. The atmosphere is great (even yesterday, which was hectic with all of the Christmas parties going on) and the service is simply fantastic. Sam especially was brilliant last night, but so were all of the others, running around looking after multiple parties whilst also managing to look after the two of us. So quite simply - it's great food, great service, and a lovely clean and spacious restaurant. Well recommended.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the staff were very nice. The person that served us was very kind and very calm, he seemed very happy about his job! Will definitely go there again, the food was so tasty and fully cooked and the staff were quite chilled out. It was empty apart from us but I think it was because it was a weekday. Our waiter even gave us all these little handmade paper roses!

Wonderful food - sea bass was amazing

Everything was brilliant. The food was outstanding, every dish was perfect. We had the feta and the leaves to start and different chargrilled meats, the falafel and the stuffed aubergine for mains. Chocolate cake and baklava was so good. Enjoyed the Turkish rose wine, also had a cocktail and some Turkish beers for our group which all went down well. Staff were friendly and in great spirits. Spotlessly clean restaurant and good value for money. First experience eating out in Wellingborough and when we return it will be tough to try anywhere else. Even gave us cubes of Turkish delight as we left, nice touch. Highly recommended.

A really lovely restaurant. Went there Friday lunch for an early bday meal. Food and service was spot on. Absolutely loved it as did my partner and friend. I would 100% recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't done so already. You won't be disappointed. Pic is of their mixed grill with me adding some sauce in it. Fantastic!

Ordered the chicken kofta, which came with two skewers, rice, salad and complimentary bread. There was a mix up with language translation. I told them I was very hungry and to describe the rice portion. I then agreed to order more rice after the meal arrives and may order it. The meal came with extra rice and was charged £3.50. Anyways, great flavour, freshly made, and they brought more bread during my meal. Very nice staff. Nice interiors and comfortable seats. Went a 2nd time and equally as good. Complimentary Turkish tea or coffee after your meal. Mixed grill for the 2nd visit. Great Turkish screesaver1

I cannot say anything else apart from just how outstanding everything was about this lovely restaurant. Parking maybe a bit of an issue and there are a few spaces immediately to the front, we got lucky however the multistory car park is a short distance away. We visited a couple of Fridays ago and had lunch. The service was very efficient and friendly and the decor was nice too, we liked the water feature as we entered. Service was very quick, I liked my mixed grill, all the meats were cooked to perfection and our bread starter was lovely with the dips. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced too. I would not hesitate to visit again very soon.

It was a short notice booking as the Turkish restaurant in Northampton was closed, We had a lovely surprise to find out that Zara Turkish Restaurant had parking spaces available for customers and it is so beautiful inside 😍 The food was absolutely delicious 😋,great portions. We had a great time! The price isn't bad at all,we had 2 starters,2 mains ,1 glass of wine,3 j2 O,1 large still water and 2 Turkish tea. All that for only £75,not bad at all. We will definitely recommend this restaurant 100%👌🏾 The service is brilliant 👏🏾 Thank you! Plus card payments is accepted 😀

This restaurant serves the best coffee in Wellingborough. Simple as that. The Babaganoush is beautiful too! I visit from another town it’s that worth it. Always a lovely reception and welcome and we love to sit outside. A taste of Turkey!

Came here recently as part of a small group. It was a week night so the restaurant wasn’t busy and we didn’t need to book. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the quality of the food was brilliant. The portion sizes were generous and we all walked out like penguins. The bill was better than we expected so overall it was good value for money. Would recommend and I would return if I am ever in the area again.
