ZeeZain in Kensington and Chelsea

Based on what we've experienced, there's potential here, especially in light of its Lamb and chicken Biryani, especially the former, and Lamb Shank Rogan Josh. The service has definitely been thought out in that, while the kitchen is downstairs, they've installed a food lift for fast, efficient delivery. In addition, the restaurant has gone out of its way to install one of those convenient WuduMates in its lavatories, as well as offering up its downstairs room for prayer, when available. Currently, ZeeZain is running a fantastic lunch time deal of any wrap and fizzy drink for just £3.95! NOTE: According to the menu: "12.5% service charge will be added to the total amount of the bill," which appears non-negotiable! Absoluut , geweldig eten. Met vijf personen diverse gerechten genomen en dit gedeeld. Alles was super en de bediening erg vriendelijk.

La comida excelente y el trato muy bueno. Nos aconsejaron muy bien para pedir para dos personas. El precio, para la zona en la que está ubicado, bastante aceptable. Sin duda recomendable.

Hemos llegado en familia, un grupo de nueve personas con un niño de 12 años. Hemos comido muy bien aconsejados y todo estaba buenísimo. El personal es muy amable y amigable!!

Food is sub-par. Couldn’t even get the simple dal right. If you are craving for Indian food then it is an option in South Kensington. Else, better to look for other options.

One of the few restaurants open on Dec 25 in London. They had a special Christmas menu at 20 Pounds. The food was OK. Nothing extraordinary but nice. The decoration is nice. Price is expensive like every other places in London.The issue comes from the 2 owners / waiters, who do not smile, or talk. They spend most of their time waiting for new customers behind the entrance door. This place could be a nice place if the personnel was more friendly.

We stumbled upon this gem on a Christmas Day layover in London and they were open late with a great Christmas special. The staff were gracious, they were very accommodating of my daughter's gluten free needs, the food was delicious, the price was reasonable, the decor was nice. It was truly a great way to end our whirlwind sightseeing evening. I highly recommend Zee Zain!!

Very delicious food and excellent customer service!!! Anyone fancy Indian food and must visit this place. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent curry and Indian breads and rice. Gets his ingredients and cooking regime right, absolutely spot on. Authentic cooking from old Indian eastern tradition. The Bangladeshi host knows his job, talking to him about the food reconfirms this.

We had lunch here on a Wednesday, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The service was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fantastic. The flavors were amazing and authentic -- best Indian food we've had in a long time. The prices were a little high, but it is located near several museums, so we expected that. We highly recommend this restaurant, and would definitely eat there again!!

I am an expert at Indian food and this was out of this world. The way they presented the food was extraordinary! Holy macaroni!

We were welcomed by a man partially polite, in a really loud atmosphere. As for the food, the price seemed reasonable to us but then arrived the food. For 4,50£, we had two samoosas. The waiter lied to us about prices and sides with the dishes. We had to pay a fortune for a mediocre meal. When we complained, they made clear they didn’t care about our opinion, due to the fact that they were in a really chic place and laughed at us. Addicted and connaisseurs of indian food, we were really disappointed. In the same area, there are way better restaurants with a refreshing indian food and a perfect and lovely welcome and affordable prices. This is a no-go !

I visited the ZeeZain restaurant again on Friday and was pleasantly surprised that the standards of food, environment and service were still high. I had the chicken Jalfrezzi and it was delicious, served with fluffy rice and a selection of vegetables I was well satisfied. My mate had the Shaslik and he was totally happy with it, too. I nicked some of his and I agree, both were lovely. Highly recommended. Tope food.

We had absolutely lovely Nepali/Bangladeshi food in this quiet, very pretty restaurant. The food is very fresh and tasty and we could hear ourselves talk! which is almost unheard of in London restaurants these days. The staff are great and very friendly and we will definitely be back. We had a very speciall evening.

We visit Zee Zain every year when we go to the Albert Hall for The Proms. Smart decor, friendly welcoming staff and excellent Indian food at a reasonable price. Also open for before or after Proms visit so suits us perfectly! The standard has never dropped - definitely one to try if you are in the area!
