Fantastic venue. Warm, friendly and welcoming staff. Fantastic food, reasonably priced and fast service while allowing us to feel relaxed. They even threw in a tiramisu for my birthday free of charge! We thoroughly recommend this restaurant!!

Very cosy, seated us with short notice. Food was a bit disappointing though. Meatball starter was tough and flavourless. I suspect it was literally just mince rolled into a ball. The antipasti classico starter was great but that was all food that doesnt require cooking or prep. Veeery soggy pizza base. Lastly the special chips were chunky frozen chips which I'd expect truffle grated over for 7.90 per portion. Instead it was advertised as truffle oil which you couldn't taste at all. I would come again but I would expect better the second time.

Really lucky to have this on our doorstep. We enjoyed our starters of calamari and focaccia followed by pesto pasta and pizza!

Best service and delicious pizzas

I need to say a few word about my second experience there. The foccacia, nice! The pasta, withought sauce and not like an italian taste. Also it seemed that it was prep made, even tho we waited for the pasta like half an hour. I mean look at the carbonara, I can do it 10 times more nice and with sauce.

Ordered: Gamberoni piccanti - 5 star Vegetereniana pizza- 4.5 star Linguine pesto con pollo- 5 star Good food, good service, lovely place, best place for the weather.♥️

Great pizza and lovely atmosphere

On this night (Saturday) there was a rather loud group of lads celebrating a birthday and they enjoyed themselves....but you're only young once, right!? On any night this is a comfortable, friendly and (if you need one) romantic venue. Tonight we had all of these with added exuberance. The staff were lovely and their smiles were genuine, the servings were generous and tasty...we really enjoyed the evening.

I had the best food, their pasta is the best and their pizza is tasty. The decor and overall atmosphere of the restaurant is 10/10 and one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Went on a weekday night so was not hugely busy. Food did take some time but was decent. Waitress was very polite and helpful. Decent selection of pizzas and Italian dishes and pizzas made in a proper wood fired pizza oven too. Calzone was very decent.

Came here for a Father’s Day meal, first time for two of us out of the four of us. We had an amazing meal and the service was fantastic. Our server was really interactive with us - doing magic tricks and keeping us entertained! The food was really tasty, we all got pizzas and had antipasto for the starter to share and we loved it. Would definitely return, good value for money and good location.

Very delicious Italian pizza. This is the only place I go now whenever I crave for pizzas and it never disappoints. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with beautiful interiors. If you're there, try the tartuffo pistachio for dessert. 100% would recommend!

It's intimate, it's eclectic, but wow, what amazing pizzas! maybe no more than 25 covers and personally it's a pizzeria so order pizza and I promise that what you get is as close to what you'll get in north Italy as possible. Yum- Yum, can't wait o go back.

Amazing home made Italian food.

Sadly Disappointed. Despite this being open for almost two years I'd never managed to get there. And I won't be back in a rush. Why not? Well, we were given a table for 90 minutes, which should have been fine but everything was just too slow. First ask for drinks order was about 15 minutes. Starters.. the calamari was good although lukewarm.. parmagiana was hot and good. Main courses were almost an hour after we arrived, and weren't as ordered. When I pointed this out, there was an indifferent shrug. The calzone was somewhat undercooked. We left it under a napkin as by now we had decided we would finish, pay, and leave. When we asked for for a set of cutlery and some chilli oil (two sets of cutlery delivered for three people) the waitress walked straight past the chilli oil and reappeared literally about 3 minutes later with a knife and fork and said "oh you've got some chilli oil". I'd gone and got it myself. There was no table check at any point. When the waitress was clearing our starters she asked if we wanted the dessert menu. And the icing on the cake was an incorrect bill where we were charged for a bottle of prosecco when we'd had a bottle of rose. What a shame. What a disappointment. First time in a long time we've left a zero service charge/tip/gratuity. In a town with a choice of (Italian) restaurants I think they need to do better.

Won't be back in a rush. Service not good, food not right, over charged bill. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to going there.

Excellent. First visit but what a treat!

Went for an impromptu dinner out and Zio’s did not disappoint! The starters were fresh and a very decent size portion. The mains came out promptly and were absolutely delicious. So light but filling. We finished off our dinner with three massive profiteroles that were hard to finish. Everything was fab. The house red wine was really nice and the espresso was velvety smooth. 10/10 from us.

Small, intimate restaurant with only 20 or so covers. Pizzas cooked in a large pizza oven in front of you. And very good they are too. The pasta dishes are tasty as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend.
