We always choos zizzi whenever we want to have Italian food. I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, but it was disappointing this time. Pasta was delicious but pizza was cold(not even lukewarm). I was going to tell the staff about it when they come to check the dishes, but the staff came to our table when we finished the pasta and just said "sorry about that". We both weren't impressed with this experience and I'm not sure if I will go back to this restaurant 😔

Absolutely amazing! We ate tonight at Zizzi and we loved the food! The waitress was very friendly and professional. Plus big thanks to chefs as that sea bass was out of this world! We will definitely come back for more.

Visited on an afternoon during the Christmas break. I was very disappointed in the service, from being seated at the table, we were left for over 20 mins to give our drink order, even then I had to call a waiter. After another 10 mins someone cleared the waste from the people before us, dropping a glass and smashing it in the process. We then received our drinks and gave our food order. Approx another 15 mins we received the food, my meal the pulled beef was ok but my wife’s chicken Milanese was like a piece of cardboard which had obviously been microwaved with rock hard chips. Overall very poor service, no greeting, no polite conversation and periods of waiting’s for anyone to serve us. Will not be returning

We made a last minute booking for 10 - including 5 children, and were really well looked after. Staff were patient and understanding and attentive. We were all very happy.

Recently had a quality meal thanks to the hospitality of Weronika and Alyssa. Can recommend the sticky pig pizza. Would definitely go back again.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. Upon arriving at 7:30pm, we were told we couldn’t be seated because the kitchen had “run out of food.” While this was surprising, we respected the explanation and left. However, what truly frustrated us was noticing multiple people being seated after we left. We went back in and expressed our disbelief and disappointment to the lady who denied us, to which she said, it was just pizza bases they’ve run out of. Why was we not given an option to have an alternative option from the menu? It felt like we were given an excuse instead of an honest explanation. Whether it was a miscommunication or something else, the lack of transparency left a bad impression. I hope the restaurant improves its communication and service in the future.

My work team chose Zizzi for our office Christmas meal this year. It was so easy to book and we completed a pre-order, and when we had the meal it was so well planned by staff that each dish was called out by people’s names meaning we didn’t have to remember what we had ordered! Our servers Weronika and Alyssa were absolutely brilliant and made the whole process so smooth. The food was so tasty and hot when it arrived, there were no issues and the service was quick! We were so impressed and agreed that we would all be happy to return.

Had a chance to visit Zizzi Chelmsford last weekend. A wonderful experience specially in terms of food and service the lady who was serving us Alysa was very friendly and attentive to our food requirements always in a good spirit smiling and giving us a great service. Really quick service, but without the feeling you're being rushed. Nice crispy pizza with good flavour and a warming latte on a cold December day!

It never arrived. I had to drive out and collect it 2 hours later. The food was dried up and cold. Not nice at all. I don’t believe I should have to pay for this.

Visited Zizzi's recently with some friends of mine to celebrate one of our birthdays. The service we received from our server Emma P was exquisite and the recommendations she suggested were amazing. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food considering how busy the restaurant was. They had a reasonable choice for cocktails and presentation was good. Nothing was too much trouble from our server, always smiling, with a friendly and positive attitude. Will definitely come back.

I visited last weekend with my two children and partner. Having a gluten allergy I was really nervous about what to eat. Our lovely waitress (Emma P) was very knowledgeable and helpful with menu choices and made me feel confident with my choice. She was also very good with my two children and very polite. The pizza was the best gluten free pizza I have ever tasted. Will definitely be coming back.

Went out for a dinner date with the Mrs and I can confidently say that Zizzi's is top place I will go for pizza nights. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff are so welcoming. Shivangi, our server, really helped us throughout our time at Zizzi's and deserves a round of applause for her politeness and hard work for ensuring our evening went smoothly. Overall the evening was I would say THE best date night myself and the Mrs have ever had, and I believe Shivangi and Zizzi's helped make that possible. HIGHLY recommend!!

We’ve been coming here and enjoying it for years and always enjoy being looked after by the “original” staff where possible. Emma S looked after us and is a fantastic member of staff and we really like some of the new menu especially the truffle pasta. Just get some decorators in to tart the place up a bit!
