We had a bit of a wait for our booked table and it was a little bit cramped but Stelica and his team went very far out of their way to make sure we were looked after. I have had the special carbonara like 50 times, I absolutely love it! The pizzas are also amazing. My daughter had the calamari and said it was the best ones she ever had and if she would rate them they would get 1000 stars. Very friendly staff as well.

We visited Zizi on Thurs, 21st Nov. Leyea served us and she was smiling, friendly, polite, and professional throughout the visit.. An affable and pleasant young woman. Stelica, a manager we believe, who we've seen and spoken to on this and previous visits, was as welcoming as ever and took the time to speak to us a couple of times during our visit. Stelica treats us as if we are truly valued customers each time we go there. He ensures we are comfortable and have everything we need, whilst checking that our food and drinks are excellent as well. His attention to customers and their satisfaction with service, food, etc., is noticeable, as he takes the time to speak briefly to, and share a smile with, various customers throughout the evening. We always enjoy our visits to Ziizi and will return regularly as long as the staff remain as welcoming l, efficien and lovely as they have been on all of our visits to date. Thank you Stelica, Leyea and other staff for making our visits so memorable. [Unfortunately, the dishes we love and had on 21st are not available to choose in the tick-boxes below. However, our meals, including the gorgeous chocolate melt we had for dessert, were delicious]

Just finished a lovely meal at Zizzi’s this evening. Served by Charlotte, she made sure we had everything we need and was extra conscious of my peanut allergy!

I came in for dinner this evening, and was served by lovely Charlotte. She was attentive, friendly, and you could tell very respected by her coworkers. Food was also phenomenal, I will definitely be coming back.

I appreciate that Zizzi is nothing but a chain restaurant, but you do expect basic levels of service to be at least covered. A party of 7, of which two ordered a rustica pizza - marketed as larger than normal. One of them was as advertised, but the other was nothing but a normal-size pizza stretched to cover the wooden slate. It was clearly only about 2/3 the size of the other rustica on the table. When we challenged the waitress, she just laughed and said "are you joking". No, we were not joking. There were two pizzas on the table that were supposed to be the same size. And they were clearly completely different. We also ordered three portions of olives to start with, which never arrived. Then had to wait for ages for anyone to clear the table and to ask whether we wanted a dessert, so we decided against it – losing the restaurant some more money. Also had to wait a long time for anyone to come and collect payment after the bill was delivered. Poor, poor service. Again - you'd think that, at a chain, the minimum standards would be ok. Clearly not.

We had a table of 9 for my Dad's birthday. The food was delicious, staff were lovely and the restaurant was great.

Very slow service. Starters - calamari looked like it had been cooked for about 30 seconds, could still smell the flour on the food. Mains - waited an hour for mains, when they did arrive order was wrong. Pasta dish for £18 was not worth the price, tasted like a microwave meal and considering how hot the dinner was I think it was. Pasta was all mismatched like it had been thrown together. Manager was very apologetic though so can’t fault how he managed it but won’t be returning

Went in for dessert & a cocktail and was not disappointed. Was served by a lovely waitress called Charlee. Loved her. What an icon. Cocktails 10/10 Dessert 10/10. Would come again & would recommend. #slay

One of the worst chicken salads ever - over ripe toms under ripe avocado brown lettuce - disgusting old Parmesan & the prosciutto was dry rubbery & tasted disgusting- I sent it back when I dared to taste the hardly recognisable Parmesan & it came back with mostly brown lettuce !!! It’s on the serviette in the photo I had to fish out anything edible - the chicken was oddly cold & wet - yuk Whatever you out do don’t have the tiramisu no amount of gold sparkle could improve this weird version of a classic pudding - just awful And they had run out of milk !!

The most amazing & friendly staff is what made my dining at Zizzi so wonderful. The food was also very good. (I had the king prawn linguine) Will be coming again without any hesitation!

Bartek Ernest was absolutely amazing; he really brightened my mood when he sang us a song. He insisted that he came in the toilet cubicle with me as I went to the toilet but overall, 10/10 service.

Went to Zizzi's with friends for my birthday meal and service was very slow. We weren't told on arrival there would be a long wait for mains. A waitress asked us if we'd ordered desserts when we had knives and forks on the table awaiting our mains. I went up to the bar area to find out where our drinks were. When I got back to our table the food had just turned up without an apology for the delay even though they knew we'd chased our meals up. Food was nice but it got so late that people didn't want dessert apart from me and I wasn't going to eat one on my own. There was also an over charge on the bill which was corrected.

We chose Zizzi specifically as two of our party had a tastecard, and we were looking forward to using them to cut the bill down. We had checked the small print and booked on a Thursday night rather than our preferred Friday so that we would benefit from the discount. So it was something of a disappointment that when it came to paying, our cards were declined because 3 of our party had ordered from the set menu. Yes, this is also stated on the tastecard details, but it would have helped us if the serving staff had mentioned exclusions to discount codes/cards at the point of ordering. This must happen all the time, so tedious as it might be for them, staff would avoid disappointing customers if they could make this kind of info a part of their spiel when taking orders. Our server was efficient and friendly, and the food was great, it's just we came away somewhat deflated and out of pocket.

Oh my god. What an amazing place. I was served by the LEGEND that isFinlay Manning. His service was beyond good, and his Italian was perfecto! I was insanely impressed and will certainly be coming back. Wow, 10/10 would recommend.

It's a great place to take the kids, i love the kids menu. The people who work there are lovely and really make it. Food is nice, had some lovely pizzas and some just ok ones.

Came here on Tuesday (20th Aug) for my Grandads birthday. It was extremely business for a Tuesday! The staff dealt with the busy rush with such grace and with amazing service. The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing I genuinely couldn’t fault it.

We go to Zizzi's restaurant in Hitchin, once a month, as a family treat! Our favourite restaurant! The food is delicious, the staff serving us are all amazing and the atmosphere is great too! Our two boys love this restaurant, their favourite is pasta crispy's! See you soon again 💞

Glad we decided to eat here on Saturday lunchtime. It was quiet when we arrived the food but especially the service was exceptional. Ed was the best waitress I’ve ever encountered. Smiley pleasant with just the right amount of care without being too much.

The meals are so, so small here and definitely not worth the price at all! They are not generous with pizza toppings and some of the pasta dishes come in such a shallow bowl that it's more of a snack than a meal. Utterly disappointing.

This meal was for our 15th anniversary, the staff were very polite and really good customer service 5stars. Ruby and Ed were the waitresses and were great
