Ildiko squeezed us in last minute, fast and friendly service

Had a lovely 3-course meal here. My husband and I were there for my early birthday treat. My husband ordered a pizza and sweet potato fries.

Ildiko was my server, she was very polite and sweet to me and everyone else i saw her serve, giving a warmer atmosphere to the restaurant

A few days ago, me and my family visited the restaurant, and we had an excellent experience, thanks to our young waitress, Madeira—please excuse my spelling! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. When she noticed we might be a bit cramped at our table, she kindly offered to move us to a more comfortable spot, which we really appreciated. My daughter also has a food allergy, and Madeira was very careful and thoughtful in making sure her meal was safe. She took extra time to confirm ingredients and ensured everything was prepared properly, which gave us great peace of mind. Throughout the meal, she was attentive without being intrusive, and her friendly, genuine demeanor truly made the experience special. We left feeling well taken care of and would definitely recommend this place! Five stars from us!

I used to spend some time at Zizzi, and it was really great ! I came back a lot of times thanks to Hubert who is really kind, professional, and takes care of our table every time I was there. So thanks Hubert, really appreciable !

Had an amazing meal at this Zizzi branch, my go to Italian cuisine. However, the overall atmosphere was quite dull, as I was waiting for my food witnessed what I can only guess is the manager shouting at her colleague. Asked this worker if she was okay to which she seemed quite in a rush, as per usual as it was quite busy. But reminded me of my hospitality days. Quite embarrassing from her, hope they learn from this and hope they don’t treat all employees like this. Hope Zizzi can calm the young blonde lady down a bit as this is not a way to treat your workers.

The Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara and Rustica Piccante Pizza we tried were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For starters, the Garlic Bread with Mozzarella was an absolute hit—crispy, cheesy, and indulgent. What stood out most was how accommodating Zizzi is for families. The kids' menu is thoughtfully designed, offering smaller portions of Italian favorites like cheesy pasta and mini pizzas. The children in our group absolutely loved the Bambini Pizza, and the staff went out of their way to make them feel special, providing coloring sheets and crayons to keep them entertained. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the indulgent Chocolate Melt and a refreshing Tiramisu. The kids were thrilled with the gelato options, which came with fun toppings to choose from. Everything was great but the female lady who was at the front looked right pissed off. Asked for a table for two and she rolls her eyes at us because it’s busy. REALLY embarrassing from her and let’s the whole hard working team down, I sat down and went oh well everyone has a bad day , No word of a lie a couple sits down five minutes after next to my table and say “ she is so rude” I’m normally don’t care enough to write reviews but she’s the first person your meeting on the door and she looks at your like your an inconvenience to her. It was thanks to the staff afterwords that saved it and the only reason I tipped. Get her off the front if you want your Christmas tips!

I have never written a bad review and we always love coming here but your front of staff member around 4o clock was extremely rude. Like Peter Cole’s, we went in for my birthday meal and asked for a table for two. We never book because it’s never a inconvenience to you guys, and we never mind waiting, but the girl with the blonde hair rolled her eyes and gave us a dirty look and started smacking her head with her hand in front of us as if we it was a massive inconvenience we asked for a table? She then told us it was card only but I didn’t hear and asked her if it was cash only and she started slowing her words like I was a five year old and basically patronised me because I miss heard her. After she walked us to our table we sat down and I said to my partner did you think she was rude and like Peter Cole’s said in the below review they heard me and said oh we thought it was just us she was rude to, so we weren’t the only ones. Everything else was amazing and all the other staff were lovely and attentive and the food was great. It’s a shame that you have someone who quite clearly can’t handle a customer facing job being the first person customers are greeted by. I understand it’s a busy time of the year and it’s understandable to be stressed but don’t take your stress out on the customers who have just walked in and make us feel like we are an inconvenience to you.

Decent chain offering a good range of pizzas and pastas. Good for groups.

The pinolini pizza was just right. The quantity was sufficient for 2. They have vegan options !

Had the loveliest service from our waitress Anjali or ‘Anj’. She was so welcoming, helpful and kind. The best server I’ve had the pleasure of encountering in a very long time. Much praise to Anj and the staff at Zizzi.

The pictures say it all.. uncooked meringue cold desert returned once. The photo is of their second attempt. Cold staff at front of house. The waitress was good but spread thin because of too many tables.

Came with the Mrs ages ago was not the best experience tbh but then came last weekend and had the best experience ever the food was amazing met a staff member Edward (Ed) or as I now call him ZK zizzi King he was amazing with the service he gave he made sure our drinks came quick and our food came quick he made sure we had laughter whilst waiting and also made sure our experience was amazing the best staff member there hands down he needs to get promoted ASAP!!! Honestly I only recommend zizzis cuh of him!!

Went in this evening, was unsure what to expect after seeing how busy the place was and little staff to be seen. However Edward sorted us out and service was sublime throughout. It's easy to let standards slip and morale drop when someone calls in sick and it gets busy and overwhelming, but he remained professional and polite. All whilst maintaining a fast pace. Well done Edward.

Absolutely horrendous (non) service. Came and waited for our order to be taken - asked a waitress to take our order only to be forgotten about and had seen others come in after have their order taken. Half hour wasted

1st visit to this Zizzi and to the brand for years.We booked after playing indoor golf ⛳️. The place was packed and buzzing at 3pm! The staff were very friendly and efficient.The menu was vast. No draught beer, but next best thing they had Peroni in small and large bottles and they took the trouble to frost the glasses! Food wad excellent 👌 Tiramasu was OK but I've had better. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Very disappointed with our main meal. We had a mushroom and truffle oil pasta dish. It came out in a big solid blob on the dish, with no sign of a mushroom. We didn't want to ruin our date night, so we didn't complain. On a plus the garluc and onion bread was delicious and our waitress was lovely and very friendly.

Hannah offered a warm and polite service throughout the meal, Supervisor however needs work on her etiquette. Hannah is an asset to Zizzi.

The quality of food on the set menu was very poor. The starter: calamari was completely dried out, the main: the pasta cold, over cooked and tasteless and the dessert: the tiramissu was like sponge. Zizzi only want payments by card, so that you are forced to pay the 'team tip'. The customer has no choice in the matter. The staff do not want to give you a receipt for your payment. The staff were so busy that I could not call them back. This is the second time this happened at another branch. Avoid Zizzi at all costs since this must be protocol in the company.

Visited here yesterday with my friend, it was such a lovely experience! Our server Hubert was lovely, despite the fact it is his first week we couldn’t fault his service! The food was stunning, we both ended up having our desserts to go which wasn’t an issue in the slightest, food came out efficiently, piping hot and beautifully presented! Would 100% come back and recommend!

A great dining experience at lunchtime (18/10/24). We were greeted & seated and were served by a friendly courteous young man (Hubert). We didn't have to wait long for our food which was very tasty. In summary, good food, great service, thank you!

The food was delicious, and at a good price too. We booked in advance, and even though it was totally packed, the service was incredibly fast with all the waitstaff being very friendly and accommodating. Gabriela was a star, great work!

Today me and my husband tried zizzi's for the first time ,we was warmly welcomed by the management and sat in a cozy corner our drinks order was taken a capachinno and a coke and was given a small bowl of snacks whilst we was given the menu, we both decided on the three courses for £25.95 . Both of us ordered the motzeralla risotto crispy balls for a starter our taste buds was going wild with delight, we had also ordered prosciutto carbonara wow the presentation was absolutely amazing I wish I had taken a photo it was so pretty ,then the tastebuds went into over drive even more so flavour enriched, (I must try to recreate this dish) we was both in pure delight with the first two courses, we ordered another capuchinno for myself another little dish of snacks came, my husband ordered a chocolate melt cake with ice cream and I ordered the tiramasu, my husbands reaction was omgggggggg this is some sort of heaven my tiramasu came with gold sparkles and was divine not to over powering with flavour and not too little. The meal was absolutely perfection excellent value for money ,staff was so amazing and helpful . I cannot wait to come back again thank you for making the meal such a memorable

Every time I visit, I enjoy the food even more. The presentation is brilliant and the taste is amazing. They have a lot of options to choose from and the service is actually quick. Would recommend 10/10.
