Food was lovely. When we asked for a side order the waitress said she didnt know what it was and went away to find out - she never returned. When we ordered, we ordered it anyway - it never came. We asked the waiter for it and he said he would go and get it - he never. We asked again and thrid time lucky we got it. It was not busy at all so that cannot be used as an excuse. In summary the food was good but the service was poor

I've been in lots of Zizzi restaurants up and down the country. Generally, the food is consistently average to very good, which is why I use them. In this case, the food was nearer the 'average'. Serving a pizza with a visible small part that had been burnt isn't the end of the world, not great, though, and would have been better to acknowledge. Instead, coming back with the usual practice of asking if the food was OK seemed even more forced and insincere. The restaurant occupies an old building in a decent area of Worcester for food. Inside, it's not as well played set out as other Zizzis due to the old walls, etc. This means if you're lucky, you get a nice spot to eat. If not, you could find yourself sitting in a narrow area with staff passing you by frequently. It was the lead up to Christmas, and the staff were busy, but there were times I wondered if they had forgotten about me or if i had turned invisible. Finally, there's plenty of food places to choose from in Worcester centre with some good independent establishments that likely could be a better choice.

The restaurant was very busy, but despite that the staff were efficient, friendly and relaxed, the food and drinks came out promptly and it was delicious! The kitchen staff appeared very organised too! Well done to all!

Table for 2 for a 60th birthday lunch. Waited over an hour for our food. No communication about how long waiting time wouid be upon arrival or whilst sat waiting. Very disappointing experience.

We arrived to a lack lustre welcome. We were sat at a table which was opposite a door which went into the main entrance hall and so it was cold. We ordered drinks, the white wine I preferred was not available and so I had to choose a more expensive alternative. When ordering from the set Christmas menu my husband had to go with a 3rd choice from the main meal list as his 1st and 2nd choice were not available… We asked if we could move as it was cold and we were moved nearer the kitchen area. It was warmer there but unfortunately I was facing the kitchen area. I was able to see a chef opening a blue plastic bag of food and heating it up. Our starters were good and my main course was tasty, my husbands pizza was tasty but only luke warm. His Raspberry Collins cheesecake was fine, but my Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie was meant to be topped with a sticky toasted meringue, Mm no meringue!

The welcome, the décor, the ambience all got us off to a great start - and then came the serving staff and the glorious food. We all had a wonderful time so THANK YOU to the staff, the chefs - we'll be back.

Meal for 11 on a Saturday night just before Xmas. No problem at all for Zizzi's. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Orders were spot-on, each dish was delicious and each course well-timed. No-one had to wait for food or drinks. Thanks to Grace and Josh for being amazing hosts. Thanks Zizzi for a fab Xmas meal.

We came for our Work Christmas Meal- we had a great time! There was just under 30 of us- all served at the same time- food and drink were great. The pre-order system worked well- the staff were also brilliant! Thanks Again- We will definitely be back!

A very pleasant Sunday lunch here today. The staff were plentiful & cheerful. I quite enjoyed sitting by the kitchen. Gives you some entertainment! We had 2x king prawn tagatelle & 2x margarita pizza. Both excellent. Well done Team Zizzi Worcester. 👏

Food was well below average , lnfact inedible, however atmosphere and service by Billy in Worcester was second to none. Thanks Billy, a credit to the company despite awful food.

We visited for a Christmas lunch for four people. The staff were great, Rachel especially. It was disappointing that two items on the menu were not available, hot chocolate (which we wanted to order) and another item that we didn’t mind choosing something else for instead. We were all pleased with our choices which included chorizo carbonara, calamari, beetroot gnocchi, garlic mushrooms, tiramisu, cheesecake & chocolate gilato. If a non-alcoholic wine had been available, we would have ordered it. Overall price for the fixed menu was reasonable, food and service were good. Just didn’t feel very festive.

The pizza was very disappointing. There was no tomatoes sauce on my margarita. This is the most simple of pizza's you could ask for. My sons cappuccino expresso had chocolate in top that looked as if it had been thrown on from the other side of the kitchen. Shame it was our first visit... and our last.

My wife and I dined at Zizzi yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, my wife's meal was both unappetizing in appearance and flavourless. Given our long history of positive experiences at Zizzi, we were quite disappointed. When we expressed our concerns to the staff, their response was underwhelming, limited to a simple apology. Sadly, this experience has dampened our enthusiasm for future visits to Zizzi.

Some decent vegetarian options. It took a while for our order to be taken, and annoyingly a couple who were seated after us had their orders taken & food delivered before us, which wasn’t right. Orange juice was very nice but pricey at nearly £4 a glass. I tried a new mushroom, truffle & burrata pasta. It tasted okay but I wasn’t keen on the burrata texture and the dish tasted of truffle, no hints of mushroom really and limited mushrooms in the sauce. A little disappointing for the high price point. I would recommend using the ‘perks’ rewards as you can build up points then exchange them for free food. I had a free garlic bread as part of this, however garlic breads ordered by other tables came out of the kitchen looking far better than mine - theirs were less well done and cheesier, whereas mine was too well done with not enough mozzarella! This shows there is no consistency with cooking time, presentation and wanting to ensure the same quality/standards for all customers. Lighting in the part of the restaurant we were seated in was very dim - they may say this is ‘atmospheric’ but I would disagree and describe it as dull. Toilets weren’t as clean as they could have been and were up two flights of stairs.

Absolutely lovely service and the food was great.

The whole experience was fantastic. Due to being unable to find a parking space, we arrived a little late. This was not a problem as everyone was arriving a little late. My son and I had a sharing platter. Superb value for money. The food was really good and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I even had a sweet...most unusual for me. I am so pleased that I am able to give this glowing report after the bad experience I had many years ago. That is now long forgotten. Oh, btw, we are having our work's Christmas meal with you.

In the past we've be disappointed by the service here and this was many years ago. Visited today and was really happy. Everything was lovely, staff were great and place was clean. The only slight niggle was that one of wanted a decaf English breakfast tea but you don't have any.

Haven't been here for some time, bit disappointed last time when it was very busy. Much better now - well-designed dishes, great tastes, spot-on service and good atmosphere.

Grace our waitress was amazing so lovely. Asked about the rest of our evening and Probably the best waitress to serve for a very long time.

Used to love Zizzi’s but feel like it’s definitely gone down hill. Everything is so oily. We had a sharing board to start, and it seemed like the courgette and arancini were put straight into the little pots after coming out of the fryer, instead of allowing the oil to drip away, meaning they were just sat in oil, which wasn’t very appetising. The main I had was also extremely oily, the chicken was sat in a little pool of oil, and so was the kale and green beans which had been overcooked and were chewy. The potato’s I had also looked as though they had been deep fried, but not cooked well as the middle of the potato’s were hard. The pasta dish was nice enough, but definitely not worth the price charged. We also found the open kitchen odd for this type of restaurant. Sitting next to the kitchen is loud, with constant banging and the chefs shouting service very loudly every few minutes. It also doesn’t feel appropriate when the manager is telling the chefs off in front of customers, it’s embarrassing for them, and awkward for customers. Food being sent back and then being inspected by managers for customers to see was bizarre. And then openly saying, well she said it’s still frozen and it’s not, accompanied by eye rolling was unprofessional. I hope the customer who returned the food didn’t see or hear this, because if it was me it would have made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Food hygiene by the waiting staff was questionable. There was a guy who seemed to have a bit of cough, who without washing his hands placed someone’s leftover pizza into a box and then gave it back to them, he was also seen leaning over the food whilst it was waiting to go out. All in all the food is below average for the price, it is also a cashless restaurant. I think they really need to up their game considering the amount of other restaurants in this area. I wish we had eaten elsewhere and I can’t see us returning anytime soon.

Small portion of food (bolognese-had more onions and tomato bits then meat). Gluten free pasta was dry and was not very hot when served. Had to wait long time for the waiters. No on the house snack was brought to our table. Wine was served warm.

The main course was lovely but the starters were cold in the middle when they should have been hot, this is not the first time this has happened when we have eaten there.

Great staff great pizza’s and for my wife who is a coeliac she absolutely loves coming to Zizzi for their GF pizzas!! It’s a real treat knowing she’ll be free from bad reactions. I had the sticky pig and really enjoyed for the first time. Highly recommend

Food is fantastic I had salmon Rissoto and was very nice it gets busy on weekends so booking is recommended service is fast and servers are very polite and worth every penny 100% recommend

The staff made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy. The food was delicious. Getting one meal free as my birthday treat was a great bonus. Bringing a salad without dressing for my friend but supplying balsamic vinegar as an alternative dressing was very helpful.

Food good but venue was freezing cold with air con on despite being a cold day. Had to keep jumper and coat on.

The food was lovely however service was shocking, we were stood waiting to be seated for 8 minutes with 5 members of staff saying two seconds. Finally seated weren’t served for over 15 minutes and then once finished main course nobody came over to clear our food for 20 minutes. staff service was very slow and didn’t seem to know what was going on, finally someone came to clear the table and ask if we’d like pudding in which we responded yes please she walked away to clear the plates and didn’t come back for 17 minutes. Other tables were being seen to and cleared before we even ordered a pudding. Z

What a truly wonderful experience! The food was amazing as always, fresh, Hot and ample portion sizes. We just had water at the table, and that was refilled throughout the meal. We had the summer set menu, and it is just incredible value for money! 3 courses for only £26, and the variety available is just great, you definitely feel very full by the end! The absolute shining star of our visit was definitely Grace! She was our server, and she just brightened up the visit so much, she was happy, friendly, and also so willing to do anything to help. A true asset to the team! We had: Chicken Spiedini, Wild Garlic and Cheese Bombe, Rolled Pork Belly, Beef Ragu, Crispy Prosciutto Carbonara, Gelato, Honeycomb Cheesecake, Baked Lemon and Blueberry Cheesecake. All 5 stars!

Ate here in mid September and the food and service were fantastic! Only small gripe is that they only serve bottled beer and it was warm.

Visited on a busy Saturday lunch time and was surprised to get a table for 5. Let by James who was friendly and welcoming. Waitress was good and friendly and came back with our drinks quickly. Ordered our food which came out so quickly - it was hot, delicious and good portion size. Very good good visit.

Went here to celebrate my wife's graduation and the food with amazing, service was brilliant.

One of the staff members was obviously short of child care so had their daughter sat in the restaurant by her self playing games on a tablet which so loud and obnoxious noises it ruined our meal as we couldn’t talk !

Visited at 4pm on a Saturday. Pre-booked. Service was ok although a few people had to wait a while 'to be seated' on what was not a particularly busy session. Food is a little tired from lying around a while. Needs a bit of zizzing up in our opinion.

I like the restaurant, I just increasingly think it’s a bit of a con that you can never combine discounts, so I can’t use my free starter if anyone has a set menu etc or Tesco. This is putting me off going anymore . A perk should be able to be used in addition otherwise it’s not a perk at all.

Super staff and food, but the stairs and stair carpet up to the WCs look like a dangerous trip hazard.

The restaurant needs a complete refurbishment, the paint was chipped all over the place, the carpet up the stairs was thread bear and what was there is so sticky and parts of it was stapled together and the wall paper in the ladies toilet was peeling off. The service was very slow and the food was ok.

Unfortunately the first thing you notice is the walls and carpet. The paint has been chipped all over the place and the wallpaper in the toilets is hanging off. The carpet on the stairs is stapled together in places. It gives a really bad first impression. The food is good although the menu did have quite a few dishes that were spicy and the ones that we ordered that weren’t were a little bit on the peppery side. The staff were very slow. We had to ask for a children’s menu. 5 of the 6 meals came but then we had to wait a bit (not too long but enough of wait to wonder if they had been forgotten about). Then once the main meal was cleared away no one offered us the dessert menu so we had to ask for that. So overall a bit of work needs doing to all.

Food was excellent and the set menu was great value. All staff were working really hard but kitchen seemed under staffed so there was a wait for food. However, our waitress, Katie, was amazing and attentive which we appreciated. Overall good atmosphere and a great spot for dinner.

Always a good place to have a meal. Staff are very friendly, the service is quick and efficient, and the food very nice. Visited on a Friday night, so very busy bt with same usual good level of service.

This visit to Zizzi’s in Worcester was slightly different from previous ones. One of the starters was a bit overcooked—edible and served quickly, but definitely overdone. For the other starter, we weren’t asked about the flavour; it was partly our oversight for not specifying, but it would have been nice to be asked. The main courses also fell short of expectations and were lacking in toppings. Additionally, the drink we ordered when the mains arrived never got delivered. Fortunately, we used Tesco vouchers to help ease our disappointment. The staff were friendly, and while I would consider returning, I’m hesitant to pay full price.

Food now tastes like it’s all from the freezer and the staff were rude, telling us to wait 45 minutes to sit down even though we had booked online. Will not be returning.

Great meal today at Zizzi. Both pizzas were Cooked superbly and the service by everyone was really nice, a special mention for Rae whom made sure everything was fine during our meal and it was. A real nice experience and at a reasonable price. Thank you to Rae and everyone at Zizzi

Had a very rude male waiter who refused to allow separate bills at the table... Who then proceeded to get very awkward and sent a different waitress to deal with the food service. My friend then felt so upset with the way she was spoken to. Lost her appetite and then didn't eat. Food was average and the chips are fries. Not chips. All this happened after they tried to seat us in a dungeon style area of a beautiful sunny day.

Iga is a lovely server and I would definitely come again

New additions to menu, mac and cheese and loaded fries were lovely. Everything down to my daughters children's meal was good quality and really tasty. Will definitely be back!

Edited for our recent visit on 3/8/24 , which was a hell of a lot better than previous visits....... Rae our server this time was fantastic, very friendly and efficient. Drinks and food came out quickly and very tasty. Rae made this visit much more of a pleasureable dining experience than past visits which had put us off returning for ages. Only card payments received, but part paid in Tesco coupons. Hoping we get the same good service on future visits...... Booked a table , shown to it when we arrived , given menus and that's as far as we got. Waited and waited for our drinks and food order to be taken , but completely ignored for 20 minutes so walked out and dined elsewhere. Used this restaurant many times in the past , but as the time before was also very slow service doubt we will be using much again.

Sadly the advertised salmon dish was unavailable. But plan B was the king prawns tagliatelle and that was most excellent!

I ordered a pizza called "Sticky Pig". Think pulled pork, very crisp bacon and other goodies, with a bite. Delicious. In effect, two pizzas in one. Arrive hungry or ask for a takeaway box for the leftovers. The service was efficient and friendly, too.

Amazing food, amazing staff, the only thing that lets it down is that there is a vase of wheat on the table. Being coeliac and having proper pizza is incredible but you still run the risk of cross contamination from the decoration

We had a surprise party upstairs for over 20 guests and it was perfect! Molly and Jake were so helpful during the organisation and all staff went above and beyond on the night to ensure we had a fantastic time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic food , there was two in our party one of which was in a mobility scooter food was delicious and the staff were great. Easy access via a lift. Will be dining there again for sure

The food was poor quality for the price. Pizzas very basic and pasta cold. Mock tails were tasteless which my kids were very disappointed about. We also told the waitress when we arrived that it was my daughters birthday in the hope that like other restaurants this may be recognised with a sparkler in her pudding or something nice but nothing. Staff could be friendlier and more helpful. All in all very dissappointing especially as it was my daughters birthday. We will stick with Ask Italian next time as we’ve always had a good experience there.

Fantastic food and even better service. I love Italian food and zizzis do it right, every time. The chefs are artists in the kitchen and really make the best food with amazing presentation. We were served mostly by Jake, I think he is one of the managers, he was incredibly attentive, bubbly and overall a really nice person, we were made to feel so welcome.
