Excellent value for money. Clean warm and very comfortable. Paul, the owner was very welcoming and accommodating to the point of waiting for us because we arrived much later than expected . Full marks and many thanks for bailing out two stressed and tired customers . We were really well looked after. We will certainly stay there again if in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean place, landed really late to the check in and was still greeted very pleasantly. Great staff and always there to help if needed. We Will be booking at this place in the future.

What a gem ! We didn’t turn up till really late looking for a room. They really pulled out all the stops. Nothing was to much trouble they didn’t have a room ready, but that didn’t stop them they said we will get a room ready for you. Thank you to the owner and your lovely staff. Out of 3 hotels you were the only ones that took time to accommodate us.

The zoar is a fun warm place to be . Run by Paul the owner good music fun place and very friendly atmosphere.

Nice friendly staff made you us, Stirling Albion Supporters welcome. Pies and stovies on for our supporters bus. Felt very Covid safe. Excellent drink. Will go back for a pint next time we play at Forfar. Give it a try

What a brilliant place to stay, we were made so very welcome and we were treated to some really lovely food too. The room was very good and tea and coffee provided. It's one of the best one night stops I have had well done Zoar Inn

Had the burger just missed out on the rost chicken but burger was fine staff very nice

What can I say ... Pauline was brilliant as we had booked through Airbnb and they had let us down...she went out her way to put us in another hotel with a loss too themselves Would highly recommend the Zoar Inn lovely place and will book directly next time..

Just been in for a meal it was on not got a variety menu it was ok for a former pup the chef was coxed to come could be better

We like to eat out in various restaurants in the area and over the last few years, have found the Zoar to offer a friendly welcome, good menu and food of a consistently good quality. What more could you ask?

Doce de nosotros llegamos aquí el domingo 11 de mayo para celebrar el 80 cumpleaños de mi madre. Habíamos quedado con Ben y Val, los propietarios, a los laicos en un bufé de varias opciones saladas y dulces. Ninguno de nosotros estaba decepcionado por la propagación nos encontramos con. Los dos de ellos no podría haber sido más amable y servicial todo el tiempo. Todo, desde rollitos de salchicha, quiche, sándwiches y una variadísima selección de pasteles de crema, tartas, merengues y bollos con mantequilla y mermelada, servido con té y café. caseros y deliciosa. Todos disfrutamos el ambiente y la comida, así que, bien hecho tanto y "Gracias" por hacer día especial de mi madre sea memorable. Bien hecho!

I have been to the Zoar Inn on several occasions and have found the food, service and staff to be excellent. A great menu variety and smaller portions are available all the time. Greatly priced with a warm welcome always

Hemos visitado la Zoar en muchas ocasiones y recién preparada comida disfruté de un variado menú. El bar/ resraurant es acogedor, el bar bien abastecido, y la comida es deliciosa y abundante, si no eres grande, trae consigo una doggy bag, o pedir sus anfitriones Ben o Val para uno, estoy seguro que lo obligan.

Decent food and LOADS of it. Dropped in for lunch, and almost never made it past the starter! Not the most salubrious of surroundings but you cannot complain either about quality or not getting enough...would take a real cheek to complain about getting too much...

Fuimos en un almuerzo y había mucho de nosotros. El lugar era muy agradable y limpio. La comida era muy buena y raciones eran muy buenos. Pero la antigua camarera fue educado pero si ella sonrió su rostro habría roto, ella casi sonrió. Pero, aparte de eso, estuvo muy bien.

My mum and sisters went for lunch at this inn and were given a frosty reception from a grumpy waitress who clearly didn't want to be there and sighed approximately every 2 minutes. She also told us we'd need id to buy alcohol whilst serving a table of what looked like 16 year olds (our ages are 31, 33 and 55?!) The food was so-so: fresh fish to be fair, but old chips and lacklustre salad. Will not return.

Nos metimos en negar la posibilidad de que hubiera una mesa para 2 por una merienda. Nos dieron la última mesa! Te aconsejo que reserves en el futuro. Tuve el eglefino y mi marido tenía la cigalas. enormes platefuls que luché para terminar. buena comida. Nos dieron una tostada cada 3 entonces una tarta escalonado stand lleno de tartas. No comer la mitad de ellas! Sin duda vale la pena visitarlo!

Been several times to the Zoar for lunch and never had a bad meal and the portions are always filling

Go hungry ....great portions half portions available for high teas cakes lovely too plenty on cake stand lots of variety well worth the money
