We was supposed to go to vandellas for mothers day but due to the virus the owner had to close the doors to eating inside. The owners made my family a afternoon tea to takeaway. Even though it would have been nice to eat at tea rooms in the lovely surroundings the owners did not disappoint. They had presented every tea individually for each of us and put a beautiful bow on the box that the tea was presented in. Thank you so much for all your efforts. The Smith family

In my opinion the best curry house in the Ashfield district. I have been going to Huthwaite Tandoori for about 20 years and it hasn’t changed much. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic, the price is great too. I have never had a bad curry from here and I have taken some very fussy eaters! Always great, I can’t wait to go back.

Always been a fan of rani's. however last night I ordered, says it was on its way at 5:45 then didn't come until 6:20. Baring in mind it's only 5 mins away. Food was cold and watery. Not impressed.

Visited this Indian restaurant again last night, the food is always, superb, fresh and tasty, and having visited all the other Indian restaurants in the area I have to say in my opinion it’s the best.

Went for Christmas dinner with family , was booked in for 2.30 pm , when we arrived at approximately 2.15 pm we went to get a drink from the bar and noticed the 12pm sitting were only just getting their main course. We were told they were running late . After several enquiries as to how long we would have to wait we were finally seated at 4pm . 90 minutes late. When the starters arrived they were totally nothing like we had ordered. Prawn cocktail being 3 deep fried prawns on a bed of lettuce . The soup was also a totally different flavour to what was ordered. We eventually got our mains at 4.45 one main had no sprouts , one had bits of shredded turkey then we noticed we had pork when we asked the reason why we were told they had run out of turkey . We were not offered any sauces to accompany our meal One member of our party opted for the Santa burger. This came as a toasted bun with a thin cardboard looking burger covered in cranberry sauce. Nothing else not even a side salad. The dessert came out at 5.30 whilst the plates etc were still on the table from the mains. Christmas puddings were obviously microwaved some had hot sauce and others were cold. We had 2 dinners plated for people who could not make it . These consisted of mashed potato, Brussels carrots and pork . The pudding was given in the microwaveable pot . We were told we could have 50% off our meals . After deliberations we ended up paying £20 for each meal not £55 . Will not be going for food again was really looking forward to a family Christmas lunch totally ruined our Christmas Day we finally left at 6 pm

We've been having food from this outlet for a number of years now and not once have they failed to produce very tasty food. There is always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to take your order and the delivery is second to none. Never late (sometimes early) and the food is always piping hot. We order both meat and vegetarian and the quality is 100%. Give Woo Hing a try for excellent food.

Incredibly unwelcoming, abrupt and downright rude. Had hired cottage nearby for the week over xmas with family. Had 1 drink and left with no intention to ever return. No merry christmas there...no wonder virtually empty! Avoid wasting your time and money.

RUDE staff, girl behind the bar refused to serve me. I came into the duke to have a drink & food with my friend, not expecting to be death stared by a worker, it’s unprofessional!!!!

Very busy but got respectful and extremely excellent food service. Food as expected but they always forget the tissues! Not sure why!?! 😊
