Set in the heart of a pretty village, close to amenities and the countryside. This little barn is perfect for a short stay. The property was immaculately clean with everything you could need. The hosts too were helpful, warm and friendly.

My son and 7 friends visited here last night to celebrate his 21st birthday and what a shame they wished they hadn’t they were very disappointed with the amount of food brought out each time with only 4 choices not enough in each portion for 8 people . Each course served of starters took half an hour to arrive ?? Each visit for them to the bar had to be over £10 minimum so no going to the bar for just one drink ?? This place has gone down hill so if your looking to celebrate a special well any accasion look else where don’t bother visiting here 🤮🤮🤮

Unfortunately, visited on a Saturday evening when a table of 18 was in the main area. The table was extremely loud and raucous. The food was nice as normal. When I was asked if everything was OK, I said "no, this is awful" to which the reply was "sorry, we have a table of 18 in!!". They would have been better to offer the room for hire to the group as there was absolutely no consideration for other diners from the table or the restaurant regarding the noise. Also, to top.it off when we asked to change the peas for beans on my sons plate, we were told "well that's what you ordered as it's on the ticket!". We replied well the restaurant is that noisy, perhaps you didn't hear us. To pay £50 for this poor experience was totally unacceptable.

We have been before many times and thought what good value the lighter bites were and staff friendly. However we decided to have a loaded omelette which was loaded , but it was no bigger than 4 inches in diameter, chips were hard and it cost almost £11 miserable staff, who when I complained she just said they are normally that size, she did apologise, but got the impression it would not be reported back to the kitchen!!

A really lovely traditional village pub which is welcoming to all, including our dogs! The range of drinks and ales is great, the food is amazing and the service from the team is warm and genuine. As a gluten-intolerant person, it's wonderful to be able to eat almost everything on the menu thanks to hard work and knowledge of the chefs onsite rather than just having the same limited options.

The tables are very very sticky even if you wipe them with a large antibacterial wipe, the menu was limited, there wasn’t any vegan cake, a member of staff was rude to us and it was expensive. I won’t be coming again.
