The best restaurants in Castle Wellingborough East Midlands

Fabulous little cafe on Wellingborough train station which was an absolute life saver when our train get stuck in severe signalling and had no on board food or drinks. Raffi who was on her own dealing with the sudden onslaught of customers was an absolute star, just wanted to thank her for her bright smile and fantastic customer service ⭐️

Pastries are always soo tasty, staff are super welcoming and friendly and the hot chocolate is gooodd!! The fruit tart is soo nice and they have such a nice variety of things

The staff are polite and friendly here at Domino's place is clean and tide, I have never had food from that is not good

Simply one of the best restaurants in the country. The food is exceptional, the service is brilliant and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. They really know their stuff too.

The barman refused me a glass of water, on request, even though I purchased a drink. He told me it wasn’t within my rights. Very strange.

The Garden Deli was a little hidden gem in Nene Court with a lovely outside seating area, which has now expanded into the unit next door, the extra table seating has made the deli much more accessible when busy. For lunch we ordered tuna melt panini & avocado smash with bacon on sourdough, both meals were freshly prepared, tasty, hot & nicely presented on the plate. Will be back again soon. It is so good to see an independent business expanding & being successful 🙌

First visit, innovative delicious menu, cooked over oak. Pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. We had cheese muffins, bubble & squeak waffle, potato terrine & belly pork followed by orange sorbet & chocolate fondant.

That is their Tandoori Roti costing £2.30 each. Tasteless and uncooked. Never recommend to buy any roti or naan from there. They took 20 mins to prepare these

We went in December so expected it to be busy. It was really really busy. However, didn’t phase them, very good food arrived. Reasonably fast service and all dishes out at the same time. Good was delicious and the menu is very varied Staff polite and friendly Small car park at the rear too

Coffee is ok but, the quality of the produce has gone down. I was looking forward to my pumphouse breakfast but I was disappointed.

I love The Crown and its staff from the amazing Landlord and Landlady to the fun and helpful Bar staff. It's always a good night with friendly locals and a great place to hold a function

Hotel is ok, nothing more. Rooms noisy and floor going soft, rooms tatty. Arrived to no card payments available. No draught drinks in the bar. Restaurant absolutely shambles. Slow service poor food. Waited 30 minutes for 2 eggs and a sausage to come out. Tonight guided to a table quickly then nothing, not given a menu, not offered a drink. After 20 minutrs, I walked out! Go to pizza place, much better and friendly service. Never again!

It’s so great to have gluten free, nice fresh battered fish available in Wellingborough. Plus the owner is helpful if you have delivery queries.
