A right little gem. We stayed in the car park overnight for no fee on way up north. We ate the most amazing meal, credit to the talented chef. Spent the late evening watching football & playing pool with Donna the owner. Donna & hubby are currently renovating the pub & surrounding. Quiet nights sleep. Will return. Thank you

First time ordered form here as from Sheffield but staying in Blyton. Mixed kebab was excellent as was the lamb Jalfrezi. Would definitely recommend these guys.

My family and I, love both of their new menus! Gorgeous food from them always. And worth the travel. As Gluten free myself, finding them has been the best thing that has happened to me in years. The care that they put into the safety of their Gluten free dishes and the quality of their food is truly a blessing. My favourites are their Gluten free crispy chilli beef, singapore curry, salt and chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips. My husband loves curry dishes, he loves their special curry from their normal menu. And he loved the curry I got too. It's lovely to have so much choice for Coeliac. Thank you for creating the most wonderful Gluten free menu I've seen! My kids love trying new dishes everytime we visit. It's lovely to see such variety in both of their menus, they cater for Vegetarians and Vegans too. They truly are a rare gem. Can't wait to order again!! X

We were excited to enjoy our Boxing Day dinner, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, we were seated in a room that was freezing cold. Despite raising the issue, the only solution offered was to “close the door—it might make it better.” The room had just one small radiator that was insufficient for the space, and although there was a fire in the room, it was not lit to help improve the temperature. Adding to the discomfort, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The atmosphere was non-existent. The room was eerily quiet, with no music or background noise, making it feel more like a waiting room than a festive dinner setting. When we requested to be moved to another table, we were told it would be “too much of a squeeze.” To make matters worse, we were informed that if we insisted on moving, they would need us to leave within an hour—an unreasonable suggestion that only added to our frustration. The service didn’t help the situation. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately asked to order drinks before we’d even had time to settle in, despite not being late. After finishing our starters, new cutlery was brought to the table, but instead of being set for each guest, it was simply dropped at the end of the table for us to sort out ourselves. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. Throughout the meal, the staff rarely checked on us. Aside from a quick glance to see if we’d finished eating, there was little effort to ensure we were comfortable or satisfied. Overall, the experience lacked warmth, atmosphere, and service—both literally and figuratively. For such a special occasion, we had hoped for better service, attention to detail, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, it left much to be desired and was a real letdown

I've stayed here 3 times now. I'm never left disappointed. Rooms are to a high standard and most importantly clean. Food has been excellent. I've eaten in both the White Swan and the muddy duck next door. Service has been excellent. My only gripe is don't fall into thinking room a 11. What the white swan advertise as a suite is actually a suite. It's a big double bedroom and nothing more. Their website also has a surprising lack of pictures of this particular room. If you book room 11 expecting somewhere to sit for you both other than the bed you'll be disappointed.
