Beautiful little place for lunch or even just a coffee & cake., been there a few times now and love it., my Friend and I plan to go for lunch very soon, their homeade soup and fresh bread is lovely.

Amazing ice cream! A big bonus for us was that it was suitable for our nut-allergic son, who almost never gets this sort of ice cream treat. The lady was very knowledgeable about her ingredients as it’s homemade, and made sure she got a fresh scoop for him too. He declared it the best ice cream ever! The coffee was also delicious, piping hot & served in beautiful eco-friendly cups with different designs. Highly recommend and not just for the summer, the hot chocolate looked amazing too and there was a lovely selection of gifts in the shop.

Our family spent five enjoyable days in The Swan over Christmas. The hotel and staff were excellent and we look forward to future stays at The Swan.

My son bought me here as a treat, 1st visit here. I absolutely loved the place, surroundings were beautiful, warm and cosy. Food was amazing, and service was excellent. I cannot wait to return.

Badly overpriced food. Appalling service. Quick to take an order and escort you to a table, but from thereon in...give up. It took an inordinate amount of time for our drinks to arrive, and about 15minutes later, with no sign of any food, ordered another drink. 10 minutes later I had to go and ask after our food and my drink. They then poured my drink!!! Dreadful dreadful service. Never ever going there again.

I'd love to be able to review the food but, this is the mail I have had to send today: I am gravely disappointed and very, very upset by your total lack of customer care: I had a reservation in your restaurant on 24th December, for 3 people. I have a written confirmation (made many weeks ago). This event was 'Christmas' with my daughter and husband as we are apart for the rest of the holidays. I had an alternative booked but my daughter asked if we could come to you: I booked THEN cancelled my other reservation. Yesterday, just 1 week before Christmas, a 'chirpy' but utterly uncaring and dismissive person called to say, 'the manager has said we are only doing Christmas lunch for residents so we need to cancel your reservation. Sorry about that. He said you can have an afternoon tea reservation and use of the Spa if you like. Protest was met with the same chirpy dismissal, followed by an email that did not apologise (no apology received, AT ALL) that confirmed the cancellation, seeming to imply that I had cancelled it. This is appalling customer service: period! People have told me you are a great venue... really??? Maybe in terms of food but certainly not, if this is an example of normal practice, in terms of customer care. Why would I want afternoon tea when I had booked a Christmas lunch? (Not a FREE afternoon tea at a time of my choice even but a 'reservation'!) Why would I want to use your SPA on Christmas eve, with my son in law (???) and when I have Banatynes membership? You have WRECKED my Christmas and simply don't care? I really would like a written apology and explanation please.

Lovely food and atmosphere!!! Food was tasty and great value for money. The young waitress maddie who bought over our drinks and popadoms was very polite and helpful. Jenny was very friendly and could and do not enough for us. Would definitely recommend.

Food for an evening meal absolutely superb., very surprised (expected traditional pub food) would def. eat an evening meal there again.
