The best restaurants in Conifer Breckland East of England

Had a work meal here and the service, food and prices were all excellent. I would recommend!

Needed somewhere to eat after a 6-mile walk near Brandon on a very cold day. We were struggling to find something suitable and then found this. It looks like a basic roadside cafe on the outside. But inside it is warm, cosy and so very very friendly with the most delicious and warming food. The sausage and mash was amazing. Will return when in the area next. Totally recommend for a delicious simple lunch at a very reasonable price.

Stopped here today after finding this on Tripadvisor. We were warmly welcomed and given the option of sitting in the bar or upstairs (very steep stairs) for waitress service. We chose the Ploughman's Lunch, where you have the options of choosing 2 options from: cheddar, Stilton, brie, prawns, beef or piri piri chicken. The plates were full of colourful & tasty food; the beef was plentiful and tender. It took us ages to get through and unfortunately didn't have room gir a dessert. Another customer couldn't manage her lunch, and she was offered the option of having it packaged up and taking it home. We will be back next time we are in the area to try something else off the menu!

Vecchio edificio risalente al 1680, il soffitto basso con travi a vista e il caminetto gli danno la tipica atmosfera da pub di paese. Il ristorante offre una selezione di buoni piatti preparati con ingredienti locali. Camera non grandissima ma confotevole, il riscaldamento era un po' troppo alto soprattutto in bagno. Buona la colazione all'inglese preparata sempre con ingredienti locali.

Food in bar ok but not brilliant. Young staff don't know what Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry is. Function food ok but service is late and chaotic.

I ordered pizza and hot chocolate cashier said cash only no WiFi witch l had cash still getting orders through just eat lucky l had cash lost alot of customers
