The best restaurants in Theobalds Broxbourne East of England

We had recently ordered a birthday cake for me so we went for a coffee and small cakes. Highly recommended for the cakes and superb coffee.

There is no option for 0 stars so i had to give a 1. I have ordered food from buntys several times over the last few years however this one occasion my food according to just eat app was delivered but it was not delivered at all. I called buntys explaining the situation and they did not care and told me i had to get in touch with the courier. 2 hours after the delivery after doing a 15 hour shift at work i have no food and no one wants to help to get a refund. I will not use buntys or just eat ever again. I hope the delivery driver enjoyed the meal at my expense.....absolutely disgusting.

ordered food at 12:30pm ,after an hour tried to cancel with restaurant twice and still at 2:03pm food had arrived at address, I was basically lied to saying food had left ages ago when all of a sudden at 150pm food was marked as with delivery driver on way, I'm absolutely gutted especially due to being lied to and say to restaurant I have to be somewhere very important!!!

Have had to add to this review!! I had the potato and leek. OMG beautiful as good as a top restaurant Had to write this review! As it was a freezing cold day thought I’d go to my favourite place for lunch, and was surprised to see there was SOUP Butternut Squash with chicken feta and roasted red peppers. IT WAS AMAZING taste was out of this world!

Wrong night to visit as there was a birthday party and the noise was staggering. But everything else was spot on.

Myself and hubby popped in her Monday for breakfast… Place was pretty full but got a table. Both ordered full English one with fried eggs and other scrambled. Order taken then got mixed up. Our food was delivered to a table who came in afterwards where one had obviously ordered the full English but other hadn’t. Anyway when it finally arrived simply delicious even though no tomato’s … place is lovely and highly recommend.

Delicious food and plenty of it! Thank you 🤩 Makes a nice change to visit somewhere and get food that tastes good and value for money. Plus it makes a great change to eat the usually takeaways.

Have passed here plenty of times, took the plunge and wow blew us away, no regrets, the food was excellent, service was friendly and spot on. Still has features of a public house which adds to the atmosphere. The atmosphere was great, pianists in background. Parking available out back, will certainly be visiting again, Thank you for a great evening.

Nice quite pub with pool table reasonable prices

the south Indian garlic chicken was a lot hotter than normal and had potatoes and tomatoes in the garlic chicken. bit too hot to eat. Have been using this restaurant for years and order the same thing never had this before . the veg biriani was also a lot hotter than usual. Disappointed

The Fish and Chips was an absolute joke for £13.95,i would have had more fish in 1 fish finger,very poor quality.

Had the lamb doner and chicken doner at Berlin Doner Fish and Chips, and both were absolutely amazing! The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavour. The portion sizes were generous and left us completely satisfied. On top of the fantastic food, the service was excellent—friendly and efficient staff who made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for a delicious meal!

AVOID! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED We ordered 3 chicken meals, it was not real chicken breast but processed battered patty that you would buy from Iceland! I complained to the lady put the phone down on me! PLEASE PLEASE AVOID! I will be complaining directly to peri peri head office Monday morning.
