The best restaurants in Bishop's Stortford Meads East Hertfordshire East of England

Superb in every way. From entering to leaving was an absolute joy. The service was speedy and superb. Even the small things like a proper cup of tea not tea bags make a big difference. The food was outstanding and the top quality ingredients shone through as was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the scrambled egg OMG it's the best ever. It's not cheap but worth every penny and in all good value for money. I can't recommend this place highly enough, very well done to all staff and management involved.

Thank you for helping to make our family celebration a great event. The service was excellent and the hog roast was delicious. We will be booking again!

Fabulous find. Lovely food all fresh and no additives. Great coffee Smashing staff and service . Perhaps some would say expensive but you get what you pay for . Rather pay extra for good service and ambience and lovely artisan food. Third visit and will certainly return

Great food, best chicken burger there ever was.

A great friendly little Italian, welcoming space and staff, smashing cappuccino and baked I house chocolate spread croissant 🥐 I was looking for a breakfast stop and stumbled across Pasticceria Di Leo, it’s tucked away inside a little covered arcade, but well worth sniffing out.

Had a burger and loaded fries from here last night when they were parked up at the crown. Categorically the best burger I have ever eaten and the nacho cheese fries were amazing. Gutted it's your last week there.

An outstanding Thai takeaway - it is such a shame they don't have a restaurant! Have used them over the years & all their food is fabulous, their portions are large & the prices are very good. Definitely the best Thai in the area - please give them a try!

Paisà Wine Bar is a must-visit for incredible food, seasonal drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted, while the rotating drink menu keeps things exciting. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. Perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion, Paisà is a true gem.

5 stars aren’t enough. The pizza is fantasic but John & team make it truly special. Great service. Don’t pass this place up.

Today I ate the best fish finger sandwich that I have ever had, 10/10, I don't think I need to say no more

By far the tastiest oriental takeaway I've had in a long time. The tiger prawn in sweet n sour and fried rice was amazing. Delivered in good time along with chop sticks which made it a really nice authentic meal. Topped of with a fortune cookie which was a great touch. Thank you for a great first experience using Sukira! Will be back for more soon. 👍

What's so "amazing" about this place is that they decided to charge a high bill price fair enough the food was edable and my choice. But instantly want £30 + more for the tables service charge and £5 + for a bottle of water which is actually wrong in my opinion, it's not until you go to one of these pop ups you realise how overly price and gready they are! Not returning!

The wings and fried look nice on the table. The bbq sauce is nice. However. I am not a fan of the fried crumb wrapping the wing. You can see the hair on the skin, and the actual wing is tiny. They are crunchy but not much taste without the sauce. Fries taste okay. It's £8 for 8 wings.

Good place as always! Nandos is always a nice restraunt to eat at. Their grilled food is top-notch. Isn't that pricey as well!
