The best restaurants in Gorleston Great Yarmouth East of England

i stopped here with my friend for somethink to eat and a cup of tea with our 2 dogs we sat out side in the afternoon sun and enjoyed a great cup of tea and some super food we were made very welcome and enjoyed a rest and chat with the lady that served us would recommend to anyone visiting great yarmouth

Great atmosphere with a good selection of food and drink. kiosk Keith is a great host who always make sure your glass is never empty and openly encourages you to drink more 😂🍺🥃

Hay un restaurante que se llama "Lisboa" en Great Yarmouth. Sirve comida portuguesa, principalmente a los oradores portugueses a juzgar por nuestra visita de mediodía. Éramos los únicos no hablar en portugués. Miré en lo que la familia estaban comiendo y les preguntamos si podíamos tienen las mismas. Nuestro camarero era unflappable, así que eso fue lo que nos dieron, grandes platos de judías verdes en una salsa roja con trozos de chourico. Todo fue bien con una botella de Borba, un animado, rojo profundo de la región de Alentejo. Es una comida abundante que cae en la categoría de comida de confort. que me había olvidado que los portugueses comer grandes y yo tuvimos una "dosis" y realmente debería haber tenido una "dosis Meia". Nos dieron una bolsa para el perro sin demur. Sus platos normales son los platos y los filetes y carne de cerdo portugueses de mariscos. ¿Cuál es el registro que sirve es antes de comenzar. No reviews since 2022. I wonder why? Different ownership? Went for a coffee before visiting sealife centre. Well I thought I was speaking a foreign language. Asked for an Americano with Some cold milk when one of the kids serving had to ask how to make it!!!! Eventually was asked was it a black coffee I wanted!!! Also ordered a Latte… well it had hardly any milk in it. Coffee was tasteless and looked like dirty dish water in the glass mug…. A complete waste of £6 When I took them back to complain and said what was wrong the young lad just said ‘Bye’ I hope others read this. Maybe it was the coffee machine but these young lads working in there could not have cared about a customer complaint

Nit quite what I expected and advertised the food and service was good but a pub / club cafe atmosphere I expected a quiet meal but the wedding music could ge heard all through the restaurants I probably would only resist for a lunch or drink when in the area

Sampled 5 flavours in total. Was just ok. Tasted maybe a bit artificial/ mass produced. I've had much better ice cream in Southwold.

Best chippy around, driver had this week very friendly chap … highly highly recommend , we don’t use anywhere else

Great service, staff are very helpful when asking about allergies you may have. Will return when next in the area. 😊

Lovely Christmas lunch here with the Blundeston WI

Lovely place to stay with a brilliant bar!

Visited this amazing cafe as was out walking the dog along the beach. What a wonderful place. It was very busy but the hot chocolate and the vegan sausage role was lovely (I'm not Vegan but it looked and was delicious) There was a large selection of cakes and the location was perfect. The staff member who served me was lovely, she was clearly very busy with a huge queue which she could see was building but she was so calm and provided a fantastic service. It's not the cheapest place to visit but in my opinion was well worth what we paid. Thank you for providing such a lovely place to visit.

Retro extravaganza. One sentence sum up would be, the coffee is served via scoop of instant granules from a large tub 😂. Not really up to scratch in 2024, but despite that the atmosphere was lovely, the staff are friendly and quick to clear stuff. OK, if you fancy a trip to 1992. £8.50 too much for two instant coffees and a teacake. Coffee mugs tasted of bacon, bit odd.

Had delivery on Saturday night. You can book what time for delivery. Unfortunately 25 mins late and luke warm. The food is good but need better quicker delivery service and hot food. £25.10p is a lot of money to us.

The Fig is a lovely and lively venue for a family get together and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only downside for myself and a couple of the others is that the portions are very large and everything comes with chips as standard. It would be great to have another choice, such as rice. That said. very good value for money and would recommend it.
