Had our first takeaway from here last night. Really good choice of dishes and food was lovely and enjoyed by all. We will be back!

Lovely friendly service, freshly cooked chunky chips, excellent calamari, ribs and scampi! Good pint of Woodforde ale too!! All enjoyed out on the front patio under the umbrellas! Highly recommend if you’re in the area or passing through ( plenty of parking in pub car park).

Extremely well prepared full English meal, freshly cooked and hot, perfect. Cafe is spacious and clean with a wonderful view of Filby Broad. Easy access from the main road with plenty of parking.

We ordered a big box kebab. When I gave instructions on how I wanted it, it arrived cold no cheese melted and the box was dripping in grease. The delivery was to long for 5mins round the corner delivery. When they offered a discount, the discount wasn't given after 3 times asking!? This isn't the 1st time. We've had issue apon issue and the prices are more expensive than any other kebab establishment

Such a shame as it feels you are still operating a limited menu like we are still in lock down (main course all with chips) ) A locals opinion, it feels both the Lion and White Horse are targeting only transient clientele through holiday season and why maybe, they are quieter out of season where public houses with good old ‘English food’ for the local community are a busier. Both great pubs, staff lovely, but the food really needs some attention and love and updating!

First time take away from here and would not order again. Meat not tender ( chicken) the batter not crispy. Did not like the rice either. Sorry not my kind to be complain normally but the Chinese take away we use normally in Mundesley or Bacton so so much better quality.

Great Sunday lunch experience in a friendly village pub. First visit on the first day the pub did Sunday roasts. Lovely, friendly pub with good real ales and a great value lunch.
