Hopping on a Sunday after Christmas, delicious food, wonderful service

Fantastic meal, great service and best Sunday lunch ever!

We had a lovely evening at Bang in Wells. There were 8 of us; 4 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had a great time and clean plates all round. Not only was the food excellent but the welcome was warm and the service really friendly throughout. Highly recommend.

Alway a pleasure to return to this wonderful resturant. Colin and family are very welcoming and the experience full of fun and laughter. Always one of our first go to places when we visit Norfolk and we visit a lot. Thanks Colin and Team your the TOPS Jack Scrivens MBE

...oh my goodness! Who cares if it has a week's calories in a slice? It's a good thing I don't live locally: I'd have to pop in every day and would probably be several stones heavier.

Great food great friendly service and value for money

Walked in just as they were closing and clearing up, yet received a really warm welcome as I'd we were the first customers of the day. Lovely old school tea shop with great cakes, friendly service and a welcome break from the rain. Would recommend when visiting Wells

We’ve been coming here for years. The food is always good and a welcoming stop with the dog after a long walk. The only thing that really lets it down is the coffee and cake. I’d love to see some homemade local cakes on offer instead of the prepackaged tasteless ones they sell. You’ve got to have decent coffee and cake after a cold wet dog walk! Norfolk offers great coffee everywhere now and it seems the court yard cafe at Holkham is lagging behind.

What a great place. Warm and welcoming staff, a fabulous conversion of a historic barn in a beautiful setting and a simply great breakfast.

Visited this lovely bakery on Sunday for the first time. The range of bakery items is outstanding with reasonable prices and friendly staff. The carrot cake especially is so yummy. A must go to bakery in Wells.

Very nice pub. The staff were friendly and the food was great. We only had a snack as it was lunch, but the quality was easy to see.

We had the satay curry, my husbands with meat myself the vegan one. Super tasty. Super filling. Great value. A must go to. We will be back !

Very friendly local pub. Good food and generous portions.

Good fish and chips. Not greasy, nicely crispy, fresh, decent portions. A small wait for them, which is fair. We ate in which was okay. We had to ask for a table to be wiped which was done, but very poorly so we tried to sort it ourselves with napkins. Just needed more attentive service there as it was easily possible to clean it sooner and better. Would return though.

Absolutely loved the seafood platter I ordered. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed my time and meal here. Would definitely visit again.
