The best restaurants in Milton South Cambridgeshire East of England

Had a great meal here early evening today with my grandchildren. Tasty, well cooked, homemade coleslaw ( not the usual industrial tasteless stuff - believe me, I'm an expert) and divine chips! Super service, great value too as one child eats free with a full paying adult. All very tasty and we will be going again!

Great café inside a beautiful park. Prices are now very expensive, and service might be slow when busy. Nice in summer and cosy in winter. Very popular on a Saturday after the Parkrun

Competitive Pub Trying to write reviews for the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this restaurant. The menu is relatively limited compared to Milton Arms and Lion&Lamb nearby, but still competitive. The lamb rump was in Indian style, very soft and tender that melted into your mouth. With a nice salad. But the rice was slightly dry and stuck together, probably slightly stuck into the bottom of the cooker? The burger was really nice. It had both quality and quantity. Large and juicy burger. Not oily. The chips were hot and tasted very good, in generous quantity. The restaurant is rustic but clean. The toilets are clean and roomy. The staff was nice and helpful. He offered help even we didn't request. Overall it's a competitive business in Cambridge.

Been in cambridge for 25 years but now back where nearest delivery for curry is milton! It was always good but now seems even better. So pleased to have used there again and would highly recommend! 1 negative is cash on delivery or pay by card on the website! Can't be doing with that (must be an age thing)

Ticks all the right boxes: nice pub building and atmosphere... Polite and attentive staff... Great choice of homemade food and great tasting too.

This is probably the best chippy I've found in and around Cambridge since I moved here from the north 4 years ago, the food is all freshly made the staff are extremely professional and warm, feels like a classic chippy. Love it

Served me what I believed was two day old donor meat so I'm never going back there

Had lunch one weekday last week. Despite a large group before us the food was served reasonably quickly. All the food was good and quantities were good too. The service was good throughout and decent value for money. Would return.

Fantastic village pub with a great garden and added bonus of an outside bar that also does the best cocktails at a great price. Happy hour 3 till 7 Mon to Fri is a bonus when you finish work and fancy a beer. Great atmosphere and the staff are very happy and helpful. Leon's food is delicious 😋

Christmas Day meal was excellent, good choice of food ( steak/ traditional Turkey dinner / curry etc) 3 courses for £45 was exceptional value , with complimentary mulled wine ! good service, food and atmosphere , Thank you for making our Christmas an enjoyable one .
