The best restaurants in Felixstowe South Suffolk Coastal East of England

Been to this cafe before and have had great service and food, however today went in sat down waited 15 minutes with no staff attending to me they looked across and still no service so walked out.

If your looking for a real sandwich with good fillings then this is the shop for you. Having visited on many occasions I have never been disappointed. The staff are all friendly and more than willing to help you choose from the exhaustive menu. You will never be disappointed. Don’t look anywhere else. Victorian Beach Hut Penelope

This is by far our favorite restaurant, the atmosphere, the intimacy along with the pure simplicity is unmeasured. Once you add the knowledge of the wines coupled with David's amazing food just means you never want to leave, the fact that we live 14 miles away unfortunately means we have to tear ourselves away. Sunny day, went to the seafront in Felixstowe with my 4 legged friend. We were greeted quickly and given a menu. Price is very reasonable and very tasty burgers. Only gave 4 stars as the burgers did take a while to come but will come back as no issue at all.

Went here for the first time on our latest trip to Felixstowe and we are so glad we did.Lovely food, freshly cooked and reasonably priced.Very friendly staff and everything i watched being freshly prepaired looked delicious.Myself and my Son had a lovely breakfast ( mine complete with granary toast), my partner had ham, egg and chips which looked lovely and my daughter had a jacket potato and as she couldn't finish it they kindly packaged it up for her to take away.Would love to visit again when in town.

Paul and Sarah catered (BBQ) for a group of around 45 people at our home. The food was perfectly cooked, despite the torrential rain! The meat and vegetarian kebabs were great. Would recommend.

Recently had a family birthday for a dozen or so and was very impressed. Everything was cooked from scratch and tasted amazing. The complimentary bread and homemade humus was a highlight, the staff are very polite and welcoming and we will definitely be back.

Lovely place to eat. Myself and my friend popped in for lunch today. We both chose the jacket potato, great menu with plenty of choice and very reasonable priced. Lovely, warm and friendly staff. A real gem 💎. Would highly recommend this and we will be back! Thanks for a lovely lunch 😄.

Was a lovely simple full English! Very tasty 😋!!! Only advice would be have black pudding available as an extra or add on !! Love bit of pudding black… eggs was cooked perfectly! Delicious

The food was absolutely delicious, best of the kind and we ordered from lots of kebab shops now, this one was by far the best, portions very generous, food was still hot and the delivery driver was so sweet and polite :) 10/10 we will be back x

Best fish in town! Good size and never have a bone. The chips are good but not crispy enough! And cooked long enough. Highly recommend anyway five stars for everything else !

Really excellent Saturday night dinner. Wonderful bruschetta and garlic bread to start followed by salads and seafood pasta, washed down with lashings of white wine. Friendly and attentive service throughout. Busy, but tables are well spaced so didn’t feel crowded. Would highly recommend.

I am a seaman and I ended up în this pub by chance while my vessel was docked in Felixstowe. Returned 6 more times. So glad I did. They have the usual selection of ales, lagers, spirit etc and the layout is beautiful. There is also a juke box with an almost infinite selection of songs including obscure ones. But what makes the place special is the atmosphere. The owners, Kevin and Jade, made me feel so welcome. They are some of the most beautiful people I've met, very friendly and helpful. The staff very friendly as well, funny and chatty in a nice , non intrusive way. And the locals hanging around are the salt of the earth. All very accommodating, respectful and fun. It was one of the best British experiences I've ever had. Shoutout to Sonny, a long time regular customer. Don't miss it when you're out in Felixstowe.
