The best restaurants in The Sampfords Uttlesford East of England

This is a village country traditional pub retaining all of its original features which still offers the opportunity locals to prop up the bar with your dog for just a chat and pint but there are three eating areas with the menu being 100% Italian. Outside to the front there are benches and tables and the pub offers parking too. The menu prices are very reasonable and food is very good. The service was good with helpful friendly staff.

Great evening for a party of 12 hungry chaps and our wonderful lady guest. Service was impeccable, nothing too much trouble. Menu explained really well for our allergy chaps. Really wonderful food, perfect portions and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Thank you Red Lion team.

Amazing food, which was very tasty. Only downside was that the restaurant was very hot and the music was too loud, making conversation difficult.
