The best restaurants in Maida Vale City of London, Westminster London

Absolutely gorgeous food and wonderful service. We came on a Saturday night and had such a lovely evening. We all shared our starters they were all delicious and the mains were brilliant as well. Would definitely come back. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Por no hablar de la sabrosa baclava - pasteles mediterráneos estilo. Sami y Nacer son alegres y acogedores, buena comida y muy barato. Bueno para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Cierran antes de la noche, por lo que no sirven cenas.

First time eating Persian food. Wonderful first time experience. Nice environment, tasty food, great service.

Almost perfect. If only the duck and the beef (on the skewers) had been a little less over-cooked they would have been as terrific as everything else

The Carlton Tavern is located on the edge of the Paddington Recreation Ground, which is a park in Maida Vale, City of Westminster. In the 70’s & 80’s I used to visit the Park to race on my bike as there was a Velodrome there. I visited The Carlton Tavern for a reunion of us old racing cyclists who used to race on the Paddington velodrome. There was a seating area outside of the pub where we all enjoyed the company and sunshine. The staff were very patient with us all as we all drank too much and were showing our age reminiscing about things before most of them were born. There were quite a lot of us, and the staff served us in a timely manner, and I have no complaints. I was initially disappointed when I arrived that they did not serve Guinness (My tipple of choice) but the staff offered me an alternative “London Black, Porter” which I must admit was a great alternative, so I was a happy chap. I would happily return if I was in the area.

Tuvimos un excelente desayuno. Personal amable y comida de calidad. Tanto para elegir, sin duda volveré para el almuerzo para probar más delicatessen italiano (y no solo).

Fomos muito bem atendidas porém o restaurante agora não serve mais comida portuguesa. Comi um peito de frango acompanhado de arroz branco que estava ok. Mas o atendimento foi nota dez !

Tasty main, no GF starters as out of the one option and kitchen closed at 9.25pm so no desserts! Waitress was so disinterested in providing service. Restaurant was freezing as heating wasn’t on. Such a shame - this use to be a great local restaurant.

Went for weekend brunch. Lovely meal, tasty food and family friendly but as there re no soft furnishings it is extremely noisy.

Positivos: excelente ubicación en la frontera de Kilburn / Maida Vale, el personal muy agradable y servicial. Negativos: la comida tardó bastante en llegar y no era muy agradable, pero habíamos esperado tanto tiempo que lo comimos. Lo peor fueron las moscas - un montón de moscas diminutas (moscas de la fruta? ) volando alrededor aunque la ubicación en sí parece muy limpia. Aparentemente ha estado sucediendo durante un tiempo - realmente necesitan resolverlo, ya que este pub no estaba muy lleno... ... No regresaré.

£ 7 . 40 para dos babyccinos. No capuchinos. Babyccinos. £ 7. 40 , y no convencerlos de lo contrario. Y a los niños ni siquiera les gustaban. Aparentemente el único café en el mundo que ve babyccinos como un ejercicio de aumento de precios. Y tienen la osadía de presentarse como un restaurante de barrio que necesita el apoyo de la comunidad. Gasta tu dinero en otra parte.

Fuimos por dos cafés descafeinados para llevar. Cuesta £ 3. 50 para tomar un café de una taza sentado dentro en una mesa. ¿Cuánto llevar y descafeinado? Respuesta £ 4. 00 porque el descafeinado es más caro. be*****KS. En cualquier caso el café era tan débil y basura. Has perdido mi negocio.

I wouldn’t feed my dog with this crap they try to pass off as food. The people here can’t make a coffee to save their lives

Vinimos a comer el lunes festivo. Teníamos 3 platos diferentes y realmente disfrutamos de todos, en particular la sopa de fideos de ternera con una sopa espesa, gloria de la mañana y un poco de chile.
