The best restaurants in Berwick West with Ord Northumberland North East

What a welcoming, hospitable place. If you ever need cheering up, this is the place to go. We were made welcome immediately, and tony the owner had us in stiches from the start. Everyone there were so friendly, and what had started as an intended short visit, led to us staying to closing. Met some brilliant characters, who all just made our day. Dog friendly too, which was an added bonus to us. Can't recommend enough.

I was a great venue for the Christmas lunch, the staff were very polite and helpful to our group.

Lemon chicken inedible, house special chow mien not much better, sweet and sour house special ok, would I return for a second time? Definitely not, next time I’m in the area I’ll try somewhere else

2nd time trying this chip shop, there won't be a 3rd. Absolutely disgusting, chips were brown and dry clearly reheats and the cod was rank, smelled weird and fat dripping off it. The missus sausage supper was the exact same, weird smell as if the fat was off and dripping of fat, batter sliding right off. Absolute waste of money, 20 quid in the bin. Done, never trying this place again and recommend that you don't either.

We have been going to the garden centre at least 4 times a week for a long time. I booked Xmas lunch for my mum and daughter and I It was terrible So disappointing as we were really looking forward to it The carrots and parsnips were burned. The roast potatoes were not freshly cooked. We had no stuffing or cranberry sauce .The after eight cheesecake had undissolved lumps of gelatine in it !!! So disappointed as we used to enjoy our visits but the standards of service and food quality has really deteriorated . Such a shame as it used to be good .

Fabulous thanks for our beautiful meal & a very warm welcome went in a group will be back & will try the carvery on Sunday as I will be 2 of my grandkids birthday 🎂 thanks once again

Terrible experience here , I had attended a relatives wedding that I had traveled 200 miles for and was greeted at the bar by rude staff that seemed to not want to serve anyone and put a downer on the evening , my food was also not given as they had “ran out” even though I had ordered and payed for my meal weeks in advance but this was not clear to the catering company Would not reccomend this venue!
