The best restaurants in Chorley South East Chorley North West

All good cooks know that it’s not the extravagance of ingredients nor the complexity of a menu that counts; it’s the results on the plate. The Bees Country Kitchen definitely illustrates this in my view. The cooking here is tactful and of a very good standard. Their dishes and flavours are classic, but subtly personalised with additions of little twists, which wonderfully elevates the finished product. Most importantly, they certainly understand that packing in lots of flavour is critical for rustic, hearty cooking. Their Minted Lamb Hot Pot was bursting with flavour, seasoned perfectly, and the vegetables still had a good texture to them. The design and décor capture a beautiful rural ambience. And, the staff have a classic, mature, homely charm about them, which is very comforting to customers.

Had my sons 20th birthday party here last night. Excellent buffet. The staff are amazing, friendly and go above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect. Fantastic karaoke. It's a must visit pub.

A lovely cosy and friendly place. Great for Gluten Free options. Could have almost anything from the menu. Had lamb hotpot with gluten free bread and was delicious and hot. Will definitely go again when shopping there

Since we moved to Chorley two years ago Hayley and the team have made us feel so welcome every time we go in. We have had an amazing bottomless brunch with brilliant service. Great drink choice and tunes. One of our favs (inc. Manchester)

First time in here last night will definitely be returning! Great atmosphere. Guys running the bar are very friendly and make amazing cocktails. Lovely outdoor area at back.

Only popped in for a cappuccino. Staff brilliant as was the coffee! Atmosphere excellent too. Seating area outside which is great when the weather is decent enough. Little gem of a place. Thoroughly recommended!

I call in sometimes for fish chips and peas, best ive tasted, jj is a top guy too 👍

Ordered a veggie pizza from here which was strictly ok. The delivery was prompt though.

Went for a pre-theatre dinner. I was really impressed with their vegan menu!! As a vegan who’s allergic to chilli I’m always a little worried about eating out, but the team here worked so hard to make their meals work for me. I cannot recommend it enough to everyone, but vegans, this place is fabulous

It was ok . Steak and chips . For some reason and I don't know why it just looked abandoned on the plate . Also asked for the steak to be cooked medium and it was definitely well done. Pretty tasteless really no fat attached .

Two portions of the same meal and they were vastly different sizes. Half the chips had black or green bits on. When I worked in a chippy we got told to cut those bits off or discard the potato… just very dry and unsatisfactory. I left almost all of mine
