Like clockwork, our breakfast arrives at the office every Friday, bang on 9am. This sort of reliability, so consistently maintained, makes Café88 a standout choice. I opt for their breakfast wrap, a tantalising bundle of goodness. It's not your average greasy spoon wrap; it's grilled, not fried! The allure of Café88 extends beyond their amazing food. I was looking for some place to drop in and work locally from. Found this hiden gem. Was just what i needed. Back ground music. Lunch which i had the hog feast was something they should be doing as a main meal. Really good white mocca. Must try.

Wend in 14th February yesterday and was I shocked at what the bar man said about disabled people . That they should be shot and that they are a burden . Get to much money what the hell . They are entitled to live their lives not professional and will never return to this place again

Visited for the first time today with 2 other friends who had highly recommended the breakfast, the breakfast was a proper English fry up cooked perfectly, service was excellent and the place itself is very clean with a nice chilled atmosphere, will definitely be making it my regular breakfast spot. Prices are very reasonable as well.

We called in here today on the off chance that they had a free table for lunch. The lady that greeted us was lovely and found us a table straight away, bringing us menus and the special boards and took our drinks order while we chose. The inside is lively and clean and well presented. There was no feeling of being rushed at any point. My partner ordered a club sandwich and a coffee and I ordered a sweet chilli wrap and a Diet Coke. We didn’t have to wait long, while the food was cooked freshly for us. The portions were huge and so well presented. It was absolutely delicious, the chef came out and asked if everything was ok, it was more than ok! It was fantastic. The total bill came to just £18. We will definitely return here and highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality, great staff food. A gem of a place.

I hadn't been here for years, popped in because it was right next to the post office and I wanted to try a different place. Service was very friendly, I asked for a regular breakfast extra black pudding and fried bread, with large cappuccino, £10, The sausage was beautiful, However the rest of it, ingredients where a little on the cheap side and a little greasy was stomach was having a bit of a moan at me when I left. I won't be going back for another few years due to being able to buy better cooked breakfasts for the same or less money in Accy,

has the basics to be a success would be better with tweaks. for example the chairs all sway the walls are old fashioned and could do with plastering and redecoration which would probably act as insulation too. the layout also reminds me of a school cafeteria but again that might just be because of the big school clock and stone walls. However the food is good and the staff are friendly which is the main thing in cafes. will probably come again hopefully next time will have pies in. Also an idea for tweaking is its very nice having the sauces available to the public but maybe clear the area of other stuff as it looks a bit messy with a spade and boxes and packs of drinks shoved in the space too.

Very nice food, unfortunately front of house man with short white beard shouting at his co worker completely ruined the good atmosphere. He showed an arrogant attitude with customers while dining there. I would say, just get a takeaway.
