The best restaurants in University Preston North West

Hands down the best Roast meats Hong Kong style in the north of England, the little beauty is hidden away in Preston, Lancashire. The roast is done daily and is the best tasting duck and belly pork I’ve eaten in a long time. The belly pork is so crispy that if you have any leftover and take home, should you microwave it to reheat ( oven reheating is best) it is still crispy, doesn’t go soggy like majority of belly pork from restaurants all over the uk. The duck has authentic marinade that makes it mouth watering, they serve many HK delicacies that you can try, ranging from inards to fresh vegetables… the menu is great, the place is more like a cafe and has limited seating, they are constantly full all day everyday so advance booking is recommended. You know is good food when orientals done there, I kid you not, everyone eats there…. I travel 90 minutes by car just to sample the goods…. Definitely worth the drive even if motorways close and force you to detour to get home… amazing place, run by amazing couple… so kind and generous….. this is in my top 5 places to eat within the uk… big thumbs up

Excellent authentic italien pizza every time we go! Just delicious, hot and good value for money. Best pizza for miles!!! Great staff never a problem very good to deal with. CASH ONLY!! Worth every penny❤️❤️

We were visiting Preston for the weekend and we decided to spend our Sunday night at the Ferret. Really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere with live music. Good selection of drinks and well priced. Young girl on the bar kindly ordered us a taxi We only asked if she knew a number for a local cab firm so service was spot on. I would love to visit here again but I don't live local. If I am in the area again I will be sure to come back.

Emily our server was brilliant personable, polite ans super attentive. We never waited or asked for more drinks she was there already asking if we were ready for more drinks. The food was great and a good selection prepared by Tom & Rob. I would definitely recommend The Adelphi Pub in Preston for your Bottomless Brunch, you will not be disappointed.

Came to the Guild in Fri17th Jan for late lunch the gentle ehi was cleaning the tableswas telling us about the offers and recommended Fridays deal so we tried it and it was absolutely lovely well worth it and was on special offer too would highly recommend taking a visit here has the staff are so polite and the pub is lovely too

They took the time to thoroughly investigate the matter, including reviewing CCTV footage, and provided me with a clear and detailed explanation of the situation. Their willingness to listen and ensure I had all the necessary information made a significant difference to me. The manager was incredibly polite, approachable, and helpful throughout the entire process, ensuring that everything was handled fairly and respectfully. The clarification I received about the ban was both thorough and reasonable. Now that I’ve served the ban, I’m more than happy to update my review to acknowledge their efforts. Additionally, I’d like to highlight their amazing pizza! It’s honestly some of the best I’ve had and one of the reasons I was so eager to resolve this matter. The quality of their food, combined with the exceptional customer service, speaks volumes about what they offer. Thank you to the team for taking the time to handle this matter with such care—it truly means a lot to me and has left a positive impression. I appreciate the level of professionalism and understanding shown, and I look forward to visiting again soon for more of that fantastic pizza!

Recently just found this restaurant and we’ve had both delivery and take away, and always 10/10 experience for us. Friendly staff and good food, with drinks. With delivery, always piping hot on delivery. Can’t fault it!
