The best restaurants in Wiswell and Pendleton Ribble Valley North West

My absolute favourite Chinese!!!! Incredible and the best restaurant in Clitheroe - the food is so tasty and there’s so many options! Will always be my first choice.

Not been here for years and amazed it was still owned by the same people. My wife and I had a fabulous meal service was great and quality as good as ever. Well done all at the Well Springs. Thank you. Pete

We were at this restaurant tonight with my Family who live nearby in clitheroe. We went as the reviews were so good. Anyway I will say the food taste great just needs some presentation refinement. Service though was atrocious we waited 45 mins for starter and then 1 hour for the main course. We’re not asked about further drinks/water. We then ask for dessert menu after waiting 25 mins for menu we just let it and got the bill. We paid £135 but would have paid a lot more if service had been better. We told the server on paying the bill and she give her apologies. It was a Saturday night but there were plenty of servers who didn’t seem interested in looking after us. NOT a good experience!

Restaurant with a View on Pendle Hill. Spanish and Mexican food We had the Mexican Chilli and glad due to the very large portion size that we didn't have a starter before hand. Food was exactly as described in the menu and well worth the £16.95 per main dish cost for the amount of food you received. Staff were friendly and helpful, providing top ups with table water when the bottle was empty. Sat at a table with a window view onto the surround valley and rolling hills, unfortunately it was raining so spoiled the view further away. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the area.

We went to the Swan with two necks last Friday, we had one of the best Christmas meals out in a long time ,food was amazing and plentiful, staff were great too, looking forward to a return visit ,10/10 .

Great family breakfast! 7 of us ,had 6-64 visited this morning.We had pre-booked as we were a large party. We had two children ,a vegetarian adult and a vegan adult. All of our needs were met admirably. Immaculately clean and the table was set ready for us. All members of staff were cheerful and polite.The service was prompt with all the meals delivered together. The boys had been given a small biscuit to have with their drink while waiting. All the meals were beautifully presented and really tasty. The menu has a lovely varied selection and we all had different breakfasts which were freshly cooked to order. We were there for an hour including a look at the nice furniture! The toilet facilities were very clean. We were parked right outside. Nothing to gripe about here! The restaurant area was full by the time we left. Full marks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have been coming to the Puddleducks for years. The staff are always so friendly and kind, the food and drinks are always lovey and our dog loves the sausages! It’s our favourite place to visit after a long walk. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Really first class food and excellent service from Andrew, Joanna and the team. The freemasons strikes the right balance between excellent food but a pub type atmosphere. The overnight stay was excellent and the breakfast one of the best.

28 pound for two sandwiches and 2 hot drinks.. absolutely disgusting pricing when people are struggling

We were going on a three day trip and on way out went here with no issues, stopped with our dog and sat inside for a drink. On way home doing the same, as my small dog sat quietly on my knee the woman clearing up, scowled and said dogs not allowed. I advised they had let me in three days ago no issues and other Starbucks pet friendly. “No, we are a franchise”, she shut me down. So, it’s ok to have screaming babies and kids running round but silent, well behaved dog on my knee is a no no! We had to sit in dreary November day in damp weather outside with old dog shivering. Hope she feels better for being a jobsworth, as, as a regular visitor, I won’t come back.

Don't often complain but this time I did and asked for a refund for my 3 piece meal which was disgusting!! Yesterday bought a 3 piece take away meal when I bit into the pieces they were filled with disgusting hot oil and the flesh appeared to be undercooked and greasy my hands covered in it- it was awful and I took it back for a refund. Will not visit this branch if KFC again !

Take away. Order item missing. This happens quite often. Not going to use again and would not recommend. Tried calling for 20 mins, no answer.
