The best restaurants in Spotland and Falinge Rochdale North West

We went on a busy Saturday evening as a group of 6 people. We had pre-booked a table but it took a while for us to be seated, that said we were in no rush. Once seated at a comfortable round table we had our drinks brought over. A while later our order was taken. The food, when it arrived, certainly hit the spot and was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Drinks flowed during the evening and there was a great atmosphere enjoyed by all, even the waiting staff enjoyed our company and decided to interact with us and were involved in our group photo shot (bless)! A slight mar on our evening was that my wife’s hair got singed as she was taking her seat, this was due to a portable heater placed on a windowsill in close proximity to our table and her hair was sucked in,(lucky escape)! However, our dilemma was dealt with immediately and professionally and we received a generous discount at payment. I’m sure that the heater has now been removed too (lesson learned)! Apart from that incident, we had a brilliant time at the Pavilion restaurant, thank you.

The size of the portions as well as the quality of the food was to such a ridiculously low standard it's unreal. we enjoy the restaurant when we go but will never be ordering again. you get about £20 worth of food for £40. unbelievable

Lovely quaint tea room , where we celebrated our works colleagues retirement . Good communication with venue to organise and great menu choice at reasonably prices . Lovely food and friendly staff .

The best traditional fish and chips in Rochdale. Everything is cooked to order so the fish is fresh and the batter is crisp and delicious. Busy in match days but rightly so, highly recommend this chippy.

It was quite expensive for a pint ale compared to other public houses around town. Food was quite a long wait in arriving , but it wasn't really worth the wait. The frozen cooked chips were the only hot thing on my plate. There are much better places to eat and drink around town.

No longer a chippy. Changed hands a while a go, still a take away, but not sure what as I haven't been.

Curries we're really nice (mixed curry and chickpeas) onion bahji and tandoori seemed quite stale. Other than that, delivery was quick, and food was piping hot.

Love this place. I can smell their cooking from 5 streets away up the hill when they open and I order from here at least twice a week. Always hot and always tasty. Salt and peppet gyoza to die for
