The best restaurants in Kingsfold South Ribble North West

Having been given a voucher for this cruise as a gift, we weren't sure what to expect. My husband made the booking over the phone and immediately commented on how friendly and helpful the lady was who helped with our booking. We turned up on a very frosty morning and stood viewing the ice on the water! We were boarded at 11.45 and shown to our allocated table. The boat was duly decked out with Christmas decorations and for the whole cruise we were regaled with Christmas songs. The food (which we had ordered from the menu prior to the cruise) was really delicious and we considered ours to be ample portions. Above all, the service was amazing and the staff worked tirelessly. It appeared that everything ran like clockwork and at the end of the cruise we considered it a lovely way to spend about 3 hours. The price paid was really good value for money and this canal cruise is now firmly on our 'To Do' list for 2020.

me and my partner have used this shop for several years....unfortunately gradually gone down hill....things missing from orders....several times.....food cold by the time you get home which is only 5 mins away.......but last evening was the last straw order missing an item again...food cold by the time you start eating.....chips like cardboard...fish tasted strong...funny taste so it was thrown in the bin.......we was ill all evening after that ...and was very close to food poisoning.....obviously been re warmed or something.......and are going to report it to the appropriate authorities.. because someone else might not be as lucky next time and get ill.....

Ordered 2 pizza's and 2 chips for collection at 6.15pm. Absolute chaos and so unorganised. Unhappy customers were being given cold food. We waited almost an hour for 2 pizza's and left without the chips which btw seem expensive at £4 per portion. We were repeatedly told the chips would only be a couple of minutes by the young dark haired lady at the front but they never arrived. It was our first visit and will definitely be our last.

Cracking pub, good choice of ales and a top landlord !

Ordered on line went to collect at the time given stood at the counter to be totally ignored by the owner for a good 10 minutes a very ignorant man
