The best restaurants in Isle of Oxney Ashford South East

I live local but had not been to Georgias Kitchen (The Swan). My sister visited so great excuse to go. We had breakfast and it was so good. Hot, fresh food and a very generous size, we both struggled to finish. Georgias Kitchen is spotless really nice restaurant, very welcoming atmosphere. This is my place to go when I get visitors. Beside breakfast Georgias Kitchen do lunch, dinners, Sunday roasts. I have heard great things about the Thai night on Fridays. For people who like a drink the pub side looks friendly there is entertainment most Sundays. Visitors to Kent should make a note to visit Wittersham and have a drink and a meal. You will not be disappointed.

I took my wife here today for her 50th Birthday for an afternoon tea. It was superb! The tea room is beautiful and very classy. Really makes a nice change to go somewhere that felt very grown up. The staff were absolutely amazing, the food was all first class, and the surroundings were perfect. We chatted to a very friendly table who were clearly regulars and certainly gave us a laugh or two. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back or recommending it to all my friends and family. If you get the chance to come to this great place you definitely should.

Very enjoyable lunch with friends. Beef & onion pie was good as was beef bourginon and large pork chop. Veg was fresh and decently cooked with plenty of hot gravy on the side
