Best fish and chips around, and lovely staff!

Lovely roast, attentive staff, we will be regulars now we have found this little gem!

We had an excellent lunch in 1867. Great food, very pleasant staff as always. We then visited the shops including the Sweet Shop, which is like stepping back in time. The sweets in jars hark back to my childhood.

What a gem this place is. Felt welcome the moment we arrived, great wine recommendation, small menu with some really interesting food. Everything we had was delicious. Just try and get a table for Sunday lunch!!

I highly recommend The White Swan! Since the new owners took over, the food has been absolutely exceptional. The staff are also incredibly warm and friendly. We enjoyed their Sunday roast along with a delicious starter. If you’re deciding where to eat, this is definitely a place to consider!
