The best restaurants in Long Sutton Hart South East

Popped in for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. By far the best breakfast in the area and freshly cooked. Lots of tables and seating and very friendly staff.

The food was delicious. Starters were particularly tasty. Great service, the staff were attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble. (We have changed table). In some areas feels a bit too crowded & can do with a bit more space between tables but overall we had a great experience.

We had lunch with friends here today and can only say WOW! This wasn't our first visit and it definitely won't be the last. A short stroll along the Basingstoke Canal set us up for a lovely lunch. My griddled pork with black pudding was amazing, tender and very tasty. All of the portions were generous and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming. What more can you ask for.

Our favourite restaurant by far. The sizzling prawns and mussels are always our "go to", not to mention the amazing fish menu. The new owners, Madelaine and Jean-Renaud are very friendly and personable. The staff are excellent and the service and atmosphere is has makes you feel very welcome. The outside area in the front is amazing, as if you were in a European restaurant ( even in Winter with the heaters). Cant wait to try the newly renovated deck out the back in Summer time. Highly recommended

Had a throughly good evening at the Poacher Inn on one of their festive food evenings on offer for free. It was to sample their Christmas menu and it was really yummy! There was a tastefully decorated Xmas tree and a really funny ‘resident’ propping up the bar… Steve.
