The best restaurants in Steyning Horsham South East

A lovely cafe that my young son and I return to time and time again for Saturday late breakfast. The cakes are magnificent but we always go for the bacon sandwich which is simple but done well. Coffee is always on point and my boy enjoys the smoothies and is eyeing up the hot chocolate. The owner and staff are always incredibly welcoming. Well done.

The biggest and best value breakfast you'll ever get in Sussex! Worth travelling to as we did. We had one extra large full English and one vegan breakfast (with the best vegan sausages I've tasted). We've also been here for lunch and had huge, filled jacket potatoes. Whatever you order will last you all day! Just one negative, it was cold inside on a cold day, slightly too uncomfortable to stay for long.

This is a lovely restaurant, I assume by a family. The food was wonderful and the staff very polite. Pricing of the food was spot on and reflected well with the proportions and quality of the food presented. This is a restaurant that relies on positive feedback for customers like me. And because of what I experienced it’s has to be positive. Next time I am running the Brighton marathon and stay in Steyning I will definitely go back to this lovely little restaurant.

Delightful country pub with a wonderful ambience and delicious food. Service is always attentive but not intrusive. Every time I visit I'm made to feel at home as if I am family! Came again recently and they even remembered my dogs name. Highly recommend, particularly when there are events on. See you again soon guys!

They had excellent service, the quality of the food was very good, it was really delicious, we ordered several dishes and we were satisfied with all of them, their behavior was very good, I will try their food again.

Been here a couple of times & it's a lovely pub! No doubt the new, very experienced owners will do extremely well here!

Usually I have been very happy with the cakes and coffee here, always fresh and tasty but Saturday we purchased some doughnuts and it was obvious on first bite that they were stale, at least from the previous day. Little jam also. Disappointed

bland expensive food , rice and poppadoms where ok but the curry didn't give that satisfying after taste . overall not great
